I needed two branches to be cut down as per City of Hagerstown orders. Quotes from arborists were around the $ 500 mark. As I had yet to become deranged enough to pay that much I took to the task myself.
I rented a pruning saw (think of a chain saw at the end of a long pole) For the grant total of $ 66 I got the job done myself!
They show you how to use the tool, check that it’s working etc & save you $. They seem to offer nearly everything for rent, I’m not sure I’d want to rent a rake, but if I go ahead with my plan to build a bomb shelter. I’d hire what I’d need here.
