Sam’s Used Cars

Had to purchase something reliable, and economical for my pregnant wife to get to and from work in the mornings with a child if needed. Sam’s was listed as one of the trusted used dealers with our bank, USAA. Sam’s is located in Haagerstown, nestled within a small neighborhood of aging colonial homes. Driving into the lot, it is apparent that great care is taken in how they select and shop around for the used cars they want to add to their inventory. The establishment is entirely staffed by Sam’s children and wife – which is respectable and understandably so. They’re all very friendly. My first encounter was with his son, who seems to work behind the scenes making any repairs to the vehicles, as he was donning a seasoned, oil stained coverall and oil stained hands. He was very pleasant, as I began to nit pick the small nuances of the vehicle I came for, I was met with a confident response of «Don’t worry, we’ll fix it.» –zero haggle. Long story short that same customer experience underscored the entire experience, and after hashing out the transaction details with his father Sam, I realized that the high customer service standard stemmed from the father and owner, Sam. This was a very pleasant used car buying experience, I would absolutely consider this dealership if I ever need to again in the future. We purchased the car, and 5 months later everything is working great, except for the minor things we already knew were wrong.
