Stopped in for dinner. The décor and vibe is relaxing and cool. Plenty of seating in the restaurant. The server was really nice, but not so attentive to us, seemed like she was busy. Ordered a pizza, but the wrong one came out. Our server changed it out to the one with our order. We ordered the family deal with 14′ 3 toppings pizza with family style salad and a pitcher of soda for $ 14.50 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The pizza was alright. It was a good deal.

I have had Primanti brothers sandwiches in the Burgh but for the first time I tried the pizza in Hagerstown. Awesome. I will back!

Place is already going down hill. My son ordered wings and FF and took 3 times to get FF. Husband ordered steak sandwich and hardly any steak in it. Not impressed.

This was not as good as other locations I’ve been to but if you’re looking for a descent time and Primanti Bro’s food then you don’t have to shy from this place. The people were friendly, and the selection on tap was great. The food needed a little bit more attention but other than that it was edible. Overall, if I was in the area and in the mood, I’d back.

First time visit to the«legendary«restaurant. 45 min wait for a table Food order placed and that was the only item that was quick. Server comes to table 20 mins later informing us that the appetizer we ordered was not available. 10 mins later the appetizer arrives at table. 30 mins later our sandwiches arrive COLD. I mean the bread was ice cold like it just came out of a freezer and just thawed. Fries cold. Meat cold All this for almost 2 hours of our time. Save your time and money. This place needs a major shake– up.

Very mediocre. I called in before hand to confirm their hours and that the kitchen was open the entire time and the hostess said«probably.» You would think the hostesses would know that? We came in and waited a few minutes for a table(which is fine). When we were sat our waitress came by and said she would be with us in a moment(also fine). I ordered the pastrami and cheese and fried pickles and a sweet tea. My boyfriend had a flatbread and water. Fried pickles were awesome! Everything else, not so much. My sandwhich was icey in places and very vinegary, dry and literally just French fries. The sweet tea was luke warm. My boyfriends flat bread was some vaguely warm bread with a few peices of tomato, basil and stringy cold cheese. We saw our waitress very few times. She never refilled my boyfriends water, she didn’t offer me a refill on my tea and tossed our bill on the table without seeing if we wanted a milkshake or more food or drinks. It also took her forever to come back and get the bill. She also didn’t offer us boxes or give me a chance to ask for a box. I will not be returning.

The regular sandwiches are slim for meat. For the price you pay, you should get more than two slices. The sour and crispy slaw of cabbage is stacked up over an inch. They stick a large steak knife into the sandwich for no reason. Just bring my sandwich cut for me. I will choose quizno or maybe even jimmy John. I did wait over twenty minutes for a sandwich. Ridiculous.

I was excited to try this place. It was a huge let down for me. My boyfriend, his friend and myself waited for about ten minutes for our drinks to come out from the bar(two of which were draft beers). Our apps took about twenty minutes. our entrées were the only thing that came out quick. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich which was supposed to come with lettuce, tomatoes and onions, none of which were on it. On top of that, it was WAY over cooked. The chicken was dry and the sandwich itself was almost inedible. My jaw hurts from the three bites I managed to choke down. Our server was super busy but attentive. She apologized more than once for the delay on drinks and the apps. The rest of the servers looked like they would rather be anywhere but there. Including the pits of hell. I’m pretty positive our server was the only employee that smiled. I do not think I will be going back. Except maybe for happy hour.

First impressions were pretty good however upon getting into the restaurant it really began to fall off. Service was fast in the beginning and very friendly. The appetizers arrived in good order which was the wings however when we ordered the Primanti Pastrami sandwiches the situation slow down to a snails pace. I enjoyed the conversation and the company and the ambience of the restaurant however if we were tight on time to get in and out this was certainly not the place to go to for a meal. The true outstanding stars were our server Amanda and the food. The wings were delicious and with side sauces however they did forget to bring us the dipping sauces with it and celery sticks that we ordered. The pastrami and cheese sandwiches loaded with fries and coleslaw were fantastic piled mile high but a little skimpy on the double meat. Amanda went back and checked several times our sandwiches and help on the last time after five or six visits or table did tell her she saw them on the grill so it’s no fault of her own that the sandwiches took a little longer however it would’ve been nice to receive them in a more timely fashion as the fries were completely soggy and pretty cold by the time they arrived at our table. Final rating out of 10 chef hats I would give it a six with the possibility of moving up to a seven or an eight the services picked up and the quality definitely up to at 9 to 10 when the sandwiches get squared away. The final thorn in the side though was when I went to go pick up A Primanti brothers tie-dyed shirt and they were out of the 2X sizes of shirts and when I asked when they would be coming back, I was told well they didn’t know when that might happen because they had a lot of shirts. I’ll swing by again in the near future and see how the growing pains are taken care of and see how things go over. It’s a nice place, its a fun atmosphere for family and friends so I’m hoping it will turn into a win-win situation once they get all the kinks worked out.

Me and the wife ate here the second day after opening. we usually wait till a place has been opens a while so all the bugs are worked out but we couldn’t wait lol. We were seated and our server was with us fairly quickly. Very polite and attentive. We orders 2 appetizers and 2 of the signature sandwiches, the queso dip and chips were amazing, prob the best we’ve ever had. I also got 6 wings to try which did. It disappoint. Next we each ordered a signature sandwich. The wife the fired Bologna and I the ham and cheese. While I’m not a fan of the Cole slaw they use both sandwiches were amazing.(Mine minus coleslaw) I don’t see how anyone could say this is a run of the mill place. Maybe they just happened to get a bad meal or they’re tastebuds suck lol. Either way this is def a spot to check out in the tri state

Had a very mediocre experience here. I found the food below average. I’m not picky either. It was just an average chain restaurant. We didn’t order the signature sandwiches so maybe that was our mistake. I just wasn’t in the mood for a ton of bread, which is about 50% of the sandwich. I had some loaded burger, and it was more of a flavorless blob on a plate. My fries were cooked in old grease or something, and over cooked. My date had some kind of chicken salad. I felt bad for her because we’ve had better salads at McDonalds. Her chicken was over-fried rock hard. We had some zucchini plank appetizers, they were awesome despite being greasy and salty. Our waitress was pleasant, and quick with refills even though she was busy. Everything is priced around $ 10 or under range. I would have rather paid more and had a higher quality product. This is more of a order something, wait a few minutes to served, eat and get out. If there is a line I would recommend eating elsewhere. I doubt we’d make it back here.

Very happy there is a Primanti’s for Pittsburghers living in VA and MD. Went for lunch and it was crowded! Had to wait 20 minutes but they text you when your table is ready so you can go shopping in the Mall while you wait. For those who never had a Primanti’s sandwich, it is meat(egg too if you want), fries and slaw on sliced Italian bread… killer sandwich! Pros at this location: Great food. Very willing to work around food allergies. Fire pit. Cons at this location: Average service. Did NOT have Iron City beer! Needs more Pittsburgh décor.

I’m a huge Primanti Bros fan and this location’s food and drink did not disappoint. We were seated immediately, the service was prompt, and the food was delicious. My one big complaint: It is their policy to take IDs away from the table and scan them. The waitress took my ID and then went about her business serving other tables with my ID hanging between her fingers. This is not an industry standard practice and I do not think it is acceptable. I have had enough credit cards lost by bar staff to know that this is a huge risk for the customer. In this instance, I was on a road trip and would have been completely screwed if my ID had been lost. For that reason, I will not order alcoholic beverages at this location in my future visits. In fact on my return trip, I spent NFL Sunday at the adjacent Tilted Kilt for this exact reason.

Pros: The restaurant is a typical chain with all the bells and whistles. The quality of the food is «okay». The service is exceptional for Hagerstown standards. My waitress exemplified great customer service and awareness. Primanti is perfectely decorated and nothing is overdone or lacking. The décor is industrial/modern with dim lighting and a full service bar. The pub tables are composed of restored wood from yesteryear. One particular table had a open flame in the center. Cons: The food needs a little work.

Came here for the first time since Primantai’s opened, service was excellent– we were told when we arrived on this Wednesday night before thanksgiving that it would be about a 40 min wait, however it ended up being a 5 min wait. Kayla was our server, very sweet and prompt! Ordered the queso and chips for an appetizer, queso was delicious, but the chips were kind of stale. But, they were pretty busy. For our entrée’, had a slice of pizza and crispy chicken sandwich– these were both amazingly appetizing. Washed down our lovely meal with a couple of beers, paid and we were out! offers military discount, so a def plus!

The Hagerstown location blew the Oakland, PA location right out of the water! Wow! Not only is the restaurant gorgeous and clean, the staff is awesome and there is plenty of seating! It’s bright and classy and not at all divey. There was a five minute wait for lunch(the place was hopping!), but BP and I were shortly after. We actually did not even have to sign-in on the wi-fi, the phones automatically were on the Primanti’s server from what I can only guess was our log in at the Oakland location last August(spooky or cool?). We ordered the buffalo shrimp with fries(a new item) as our appetizer, a Pastrami with cheese and Cajun Chicken sandwich as our entrees, cheese fries and sweet tea. The buffalo shrimp were awesome and hot! They had quite a zing and were nicely battered, which allowed them to have a nice crisp. They were also de-tailed, which I loved. The basket was served with celery and ranch, which provided a refreshing release from the stinging shrimp. The fries(all of them– in the shrimp basket, cheese fries, and in the sandwiches) were so, so, satisfying. Not greasy, not stubby or overly hard, they were perfect. Cheese fries were super cheesy, just like I like ‘em! BP’s Pastrami and Cheese was delicious, down to the last crumb. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water. It was so flavorful. The bread held the whole thing together and the coleslaw packed a zesty punch. You can’t go wrong with the Pastrami, I tell ya! I was very disappointed in the Cajun chicken. When I last had it, it was too hot to handle… Extremely spicy. I do not recall the menu advising whether I should have asked it to be spicy or not, but I only ate it at home so I did not know it was plain until later. It still tasted very good, but I know I’ll keep my request in mind next time. Shout outs to our server, Kiki, for keeping the sweet tea re-fills coming and to Samantha, for seating us at the über luxurious fire-pit! Hey, Primanti’s, when can I move in?

I’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open up we went on the second night they opened. Yeah layout was very festive they had a lot of TVs playing football they also had a sign that said they are a house divided between the Steelers, Ravens, Redskins so i thought that was cool also you need to check out the mural they have on the wall that features athletes from each team including hockey! The employees were very polite and attentive to us we all enjoyed our food very much!

I’ve been twice this week and both visits were good. The place was packed both times. You can’t get a more filling sandwich for the price in the area! The interior is great. Tons of big screens everywhere. I wish there was some Pittsburgh décor since it is a Pittsburgh chain, but no such luck :( Both times I’ve been I sat at the bar and they were slammed. Hopefully they have more bartenders later in the evening because having only one bartender per side when every seat is filled seemed to be a bit of a challenge for them. If you sit at the bar you can see one of the grills there(they also have a full kitchen) and both times I’ve been the guys were doing a great job getting food out. I’m not exaggerating when I say the place was packed. They have a decent beer selection on tap and great happy hour deals. I didn’t see any liquor so not sure if they are a full service bar or just do beers. Doesn’t matter much. It’s a cool place a definitely worth visiting.
