Charley’s Restaurant

Ordered carry out from Charley’s. Pretty tasty Chinese food and great prices. Our food was ready in 20 min and was nice and hot! Will definitely order from here again.

I have never had a bad trip here. Service is always excellent and the food is top notch. The gal here always seems to remember what you order. I think the tofu is the best in Hagerstown.
The subs are also amazing! Great place to go if not everyone in your group enjoys chinese food.

A good sub is a good sub!!! When you order a sub you don’t expect gourmet food but you expect it to be a solid sub with fresh ingredients, generous condiments and generous portions… And that’s exactly what we got tonight when we ordered for the first time from Charley’s Restaurant!!! We live close and we have never thought much of the way it looked from the street … But we went out on a limb and decided to give them a chance and we were so incredibly delighted with the results!!! The food was delivered HOT and fresh (and fast!) and all the details of the order were filled to Precision! There was a positive correlation between the generosity in the preparation and the taste of the food — it was delicious !!! My husband ordered the cheeseburger sub and it was full of meat and cheese with the perfect condiment to meet to cheese to bread ratio! I had the fish fillet sub and it was a 9 out of 10 — only thing that would have made it better would have been a touch more crispness but it was close to perfection! The french fries were basic crinkle cuts but they a very generous portion and well salted! They had a lot of choices for drinks (coke and Pepsi products) and the drinks were cold ! And we ordered drinks and they actually came! So often with delivery this has not been our experience with other establishments — maybe we should take a sub from Charleys to one of these other places (which I’ve reviewed) and show them how to make a good sub like Charley! We can’t wait to try his Chinese food! Charley’s food epitomizes what we think should be Hagerstown’s motto «we try harder!» This is proof positive that City Park is blessed with God’s Grace! We WILL be back!!! :-) :-) :-) my husband says he’ll be thinking about his cheeseburger sub all week long So I think he liked it! He says if you think this is ridiculously superlative that’s only because words cannot express how pleased we are with the food at Charley’s restaurant — live long and prosper Charley!!!
