Thank you, Haddonfield saxbys for serving consistently good coffee and service! I know Saxbys is a growing coffee chain and not a local small business, but I’ll keep coming back because it is the best place to get coffee in the area. The atmosphere is similar enough to that of a local café, the counter people are always very kind and considerate, the pastries and coffee is always good, the wifi is strong, and they open till late! It definitely beats the other two coffee shops nearby. Anyway, this is a great place to get work done or socialize.

This is my favorite Coffeehouse, hands down. If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy some down time, and drink some great coffee, this is the place to be. I’ve been to other Coffeehouses, but I am always coming back to Saxby’s. The people there are inviting, motivated, and friendly. The food at Saxby’s is really good too. It tastes fresh, and it is delicious. They have different soups of the day, frozen yogurt, and a host of specialty coffees that are incredible(just ask my wife). I like a good coffee, and Saxby’s Coffeehouse definitely excels with their choices.

Went this past Thursday to work not knowing it was Open Mic, which starts at 7PM for those who are interested. :) They offer a spot for anyone who wants to sing, play an instrument, read poetry, or even try out some comedy. Coffee is really good. Had a delicious Vanilla Latte. Plenty of space and an outlet is located near almost every table which is great for anyone working with a laptop. Will be back to do work soon and catch another open mic.

I occasionally like coming here on Thursday nights(open mic) to people watch and sip on a coffee or chai. Prices are around the same as Starbucks, in my opinion, but the baristas are a little nicer. I thoroughly enjoyed a chai latte here last, which they also offer sugar free – much appreciated. And if you don’t mind a calorie bomb, the caramel apple cider + whipped cream is dessert in a cup. Plenty of seating; never had a problem there. My only complaint, and why I docked a star, is sometimes the floors desire more sweeping and I have once received a mug with lipstick on the lip: s That would be my last time ordering«for here».

What a great establishment. Had the opportunity to stop in during the local car show and was treated to one of the best cups of coffee(a dark roast) I have had in a long time. Establishment was large and clean as a whistle. Staff was friendly and service great. Looking forward to my next cup.

We got something here that I’ve never heard of(or maybe I’m just not paying attention lol). They had iced espresso. We were going to get an iced coffee but when that was presented to us, we thought, why not? I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t give my opinion on it, but my wife said it was really good. She got a shot of hazelnut and called it a day. Of course it was a much smaller portion because of the strength of espresso. While I waited for the one guy to make the coffee, the other guy that worked there asked us about my Buddhist Tattoo. After that, we ended up talking about tattoos for about 10 minutes. He offered me a sample of their frozen yogurt. It was really delicious. It was REAL frozen yogurt. It tasted just like putting a cup of yogurt in the freezer and eating it frozen. Nothing artificial at all. It was on. the sweeter side, so not sure it was the lowest sugar/calories option out there, but the flavor was really worth the cheat for the day :) Plus, it’s yogurt, so it’s still better than ice cream, right? The guys that worked there were very friendly and the place was super clean. We’d go back again when in the area!

If you want to skip the craziness of Starbucks(and its expensive prices), come over to Saxbys! Amazing selection of coffee and food. Plus there is plenty of room to relax or do homework(and actually get a seat). Overall, this coffee shop is a fun, warm and welcoming place for any time of the year.

Why do people go to coffee shops? They go for good coffee, relaxing environment, and good internet. The coffee here is good. The environment is so-so. Kids come in and go all the time. How are they even allowed to purchase coffee? The worst part about this coffee shop is the wifi, or lack there of. The internet is spotty and when it does connect to your computer, it is in and out more than people entering and exiting this bad coffee spot. The wifi didn’t even connect to my iphone. I was told by the employee that it does not work in certain areas of the shop(which is not that big to begin with). What is up with that? You go to a coffee spot to have decent internet to get work done. The only plus is that it is not Starbucks.

Not a bad place to enjoy a cup of Joe! Uncomfortable seating both inside & out makes productivity difficult, but the coffee isn’t half bad — not quite as bold or flavorful as I typically prefer. Friendly staff makes it a pretty good place overall.

Looking for a coffee house with warm vibes and chill atmosphere? Saxby’s is the right place. Whether you want to catch up with a friend, need a quiet place to study, or just need to satisfy your coffee fix, this is the place to go. There’s a lot of room to spread textbooks out on the tables or to lounge around on the arm chairs sprinkled throughout the café. The music is soft enough to be enjoyable, but not too loud to be distracting. Coffee is delicious and the fresh orange juice is cold and refreshing.

Absolutely disgusting egg sandwich. Don’t even bother selling garbage like that. Worse than Starbucks sandwiches. Reminded me of airplane food from a plastic bag.

My vanilla latte(my go-to anywhere I go!) was awesome! Not too sweet, and you can actually taste the vanilla! Servers were friendly, atmosphere is inviting, and people come in and out. Good signs for a coffee shop, in my opinion. Great place to get work done with a friend or alone. Free wifi and free public parking on weekends! What else could you ask for?!

Great Christmasy day in Haddonfield, and what better way to check out the festivities that with a nice cup of hot chocolate. The wife said her mint hot chocolate was the best she’d ever had. My regular was pretty tasty as well, rich and creamy. The place had live music and was rather busy. Service was prompt and courteous.

This review is only about their Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s DELICIOUS! Plus it has all natural ingredients without any weird chemicals. There is pumpkin purée in the latte. It doesn’t get much more Fall than that! You couldn’t pay me to drink a PSL from Starbucks(it is filled with chemicals and has NO real pumpkin). Thank you Saxby’s for offering a healthy alternative!

As far as coffee houses go, Saxbys is definitely one worth checking out. With plenty of seating inside and a few outside, you won’t have long to wait for a seat. Assorted pastries and breakfast sandwiches fill out the menu that’s already full of the classic coffee drinks we’re used to getting. What sets Saxbys apart is the giant list of specialty flavored syrup coffee drinks that will intrigue and entice you to return. Drinks such as the Almond Joy(chocolate, coconut and almond) or the British Islander(macadamia nut, white chocolate and english toffee) are two great options to enjoy. Feel like customizing it further? Get it as a hot latte, iced latte, frolatte(blended ice). They even have soy and almond milk for the inner healthy you. If you’re nearby, stop in, get a drink and a scone or muffin and sit outside and watch the rest of the world wake up as you sip on a tasty beverage.

I stopped in for a croissant on my way back to my car. I doubt them make they in house, but my crescent was buttery and flaky, it pulled apart easily and was soft on the inside. Very quick service. I was able to walk right up to the counter, order, pay, and leave within minutes.

I really don’t see why this place should have any less than five stars. For one thing, the owner/manager is the nicest guy in the world. He always greets you when you walk through the door and makes sure that you are getting the best experience possible. As far as drinks go, their iced coffee is great and very refreshing and is probably right in line if not cheaper than Starbucks. I have also tried several of their iced teas, which are also very good. As far as food goes, we have tried the caprese on ciabatta and tuna on whole grain. Both sandwiches were fresh and quite tasty! The ambiance is laid back, cool, and casual with plenty of room to spread out. It’s great for a place to chill and people watch with the view of Kings Highway out front or to hunker down and get some studying or work done. They also had some sweet Motown playing when I was there last week, which put a smile on my face. I highly recommend checking them out!

I stopped in Saxby’s quickly on a recent Sunday afternoon during a ride with some friends on our bikes. The place is on the corner and is pretty spacious with several tables. I hope they move some seating outside now that Spring has long last arrived. The service was very good and there are quite a few selections. They have a good variety of food items also and a lot of families were there. Its is pleasant inside and the other customer’s seemed happy. It did seem a bit Strabucks-esque. The coffee to me was just OK and still no match for La Colombe in Philly. Saxby’s should do well. It’s in Haddonfield and the town can support two coffee shops easily right in town. I’ll give it another go sometime and try some food but I like to support the independent places like Jersey Java that is also in Haddonfield, but just outside of Kings Highway main shopping district and the coffee is better too at Jersey Java in my opinion.

After giving Saxbys a few more chances, here is my verdict: My mind hasn’t been changed all that much. The one girl recognized me a couple weeks back and asked if I had cut my hair(I did) and we talked for a bit, which was nice, though as I sat at a small table doing some out of the office work for a couple hours in the middle of the day, the manager seemed perturbed, even though the shop wasn’t full or anywhere near full. Nonetheless, I went back up to place another order to not feel so awkward. I *did* find a drink that I like: the cookies and cream blended crème. However, it’s way too expensive to regularly buy! Plus, I need caffeine. The iced coffee, even when sweetened, just wasn’t all that great. Like I said previously, I waited many months, eagerly awaiting Saxby’s arrival, but alas, it was a bit of a letdown. Luckily, there’s still Starbucks.
