I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time I drive by Hooked and think about all that warm fuzzy yarn piled high inside. I don’t know where I’d be without Danique and the wonderful crew that works there, always patiently answering the crazy knitting quandaries I have. I look forward to their «Superbowl Sale» every year (even going into work late to make sure I don’t miss it!). Love love love Hooked! :)

I come in with my wife so I can’t speak to the quality as I’m not a knitter. As a dad that hangs around I find it’s a nice and welcoming place. The new store is a total
Upgrade over the previous spot. Rad wood floors, clean looking shelving units, and a nice sofa to relax on! Plus my wife loves it! Ample parking outside too!

The shop has now moved to a new location. It is much better space than their old one and I feel better suits them. However, I find their yarn priced on the high end of the normal price range and it’s difficult to find patterns in the space. Few displays of patterns, they are all in books/​binders, but plenty of samples to see. Also, the yarns I was interested in were limited in quantity. Many of the colors I liked only had 1 or 2 skeins. I hope they get settled in soon, try some new display ideas and work out the kinks of the move. I feel once they get settled in, fill in the empty spaces on the shelves, it will be a fun shop.

Beautiful shop with a wide selection of yarns. I appreciate the variety of fibers and price ranges. The owner helped me choose the perfect yarn for my project and even recommended a free pattern that I plan on doing next. I’ll be back for sure.

What a terrific yarn shop! They have a wonderful selection of yarns, and so much more than that!!! It’s a complete experience going to Hooked (previously known as Woolplay). They honestly care about their customers and provide true expertise in helping you out. It’s a very welcoming and comfortable environment, for novice knitters to most experienced knitters. The owner, Danique, has transformed this shop to a real «experience» vs. just selling yarns. I’ve taken multiple classes there and I can sincerely (and objectively) say I’m «hooked» :-)
