BUYERBEWARE: If you ever have the misguided notion to order custom M&Ms, think twice. I paid $ 43(would have been $ 50 if not for the $ 7 off coupon) for personalized M&M’s that had to be redirected to my local FedEx because I was to be out of town at time of delivery. After 10 days and without warning, they were apparently returned to M&M. End result after speaking to customer service: No m&m’s, no refunds, NOAPOLOGIES, no nothing. Horrible first-time experience. No communication from them whatsoever that my product was at risk of being forfeited. Horrible customer service and unfortunately, they took something that was supposed to be a really fun(and ridiculously expensive) surprise and ruined it. Oh…and the absolute worst, most annoying hold recording ever… unless you enjoy listening to what sounds like two old guys(supposed to be M&M characters) talk and *try*(try being the operative word) to be funny. Good lord, what ever happened to muzak?! *not sure why there are two separate listings for this business but just to cover my bases, this is a *mostly* copied review from the other listing.

Terrible. One of the most frustrating customer experiences I’ve had in the last 10 years. I just wanted to buy someone a cute gift. Instead, I lost money, time, and probably some hair as I tried in vain to get through to their customer service department. Similar to other reviewers, I had trouble working with their customer service to get my order finished. Their customer service department just disappeared – never head from them again. I understand that not all companies can be awesome; but I can’t believe that this poor a customer experience still exists in the age of internet reviews. My M&Ms should be shamed out of existence.

So I place an order more than a week ago for my special guy to get customzied M & M’s and an old school candy dispenser. Im thinking this is somewhat unique and what else, besides a tie or shirt, can you get a guy for Valentien’s day;especially one who has a bit of a sweet tooth? The order is confirmed, or so I thought, and set to deliver on Feb 13. However, 2⁄12 rolls around and I look for a shipping confirmation in my email of which there is none. But I hold on and check the website and the order seems to still be active. So I keep hope alive. On 2/13, I get no delivery of my item. Hmmm… I think to myself. So today, I go online get the cusotmer service number and go through the atumated attendant who says«your order has been cancelled due to lack of information»… hold, on, WHAT !!! I say to myself. You gotta be kidding me. I relook at my order on the website and there is no missing information. To add to this, I got no calls or emails saying there was an issue. Luckily they say I havenot been charged BUT that is beside the point here when I am thinking this order is good to go. WTF!!! is all I can say. Be warned if you try using this unique candy option. Maybe I would have been better to put in the order via phone. But if that is the case, then why offer a web order service and then top it off with no cusomter service when the order has an issue. This was a $ 75 order I placed that they now lost out on. Pissed, only mildly describes my feeling at t this point. Oh, and when I called back to talk to someon about what happened, of course I was on hold for FOREVER. I finally hung up. I will deal with them tomorrow. Be Warned!
