Great gym to work out in! Updated equipment and swimming pool. The staff works with you and acts like they have sense when interacting with you. That’s important to me!

Ramil, the swimming instructor, has a strong ability to teach swimming strokes and skills to participants of all ages. My son who is so fearful to swim learned to swim in less than few weeks. Ramil is very skillful and competent!

When I was a kid, I used to go to the Y all the time to play basketball. I was pretty talented for a white boy(LOL) and the gym was great. I went to Camp Oratam when I was a kid and liked it. It’s been all downhill from here. As an adult I went back to get a membership for a month and didn’t care for it. The staff wasn’t very attentive, the pool and amenities were average at best and there was never any time to use the gym. In addition they didn’t offer any classes to teach adults how to swim. When I was a kid, I almost drowned and was terrified to swim again. When I tried as an adult to conquer my fear, the Y never offered any classes. What a letdown. They have a very small parking lot next to the building but it’s hard to find parking. Go to La Fitness in Secaucus or get a personal trainer. The Y is a waste of money

The«Y» is the best kept secret in Bergen County. I lived in the area for decades and never knew it was here. It has a wonderful pool, gym, steam room and sauna. Everything a body could want. Best of all, at the pool they have Coach«G». If you see him in the water, he is faster then a speeding bullet, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, a great teacher of the«Y’s children, but most of all he is able to teach old dogs new tricks. He taught me the butterfly. If you see me in the water I am now floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee, LoL.
