Rite Aid

The service is usually good depending on who is working. I can not say enough good things about Albert. He should be in the pharmacist hall of fame. He is knowledgeable and always polite. He is a real gentleman.

I pretty much used to live here up until last year (when my grandmother passed). I would pick up her medication at least twice a week, along with my own. So I was here allllll the time. For many years, it was kind of a raggedy store but last year (more or less) they completely rebranded themselves. This particular store was totally upgraded and modern and looks clean and attractive.
The staff is cool. The pharmacists, Albert and Johnny, are super nice and helpful and knowledgeable. The manager of the store is an all around jolly guy and so upbeat. The cashiers are polite. The only person who is a bit annoying is the ‘security’ woman. Even though I’m in the store all the damn time, she still watches and follows me. I guess she’s just doing her job, but it’s like if I haven’t stolen anything yet, I probably never will. But I just say hello to her and keep it moving.
As for the products, they’ve expanded the brands they carry. They also have a decent amount of eco-​friendly/​organic food, cosmetics, and personal care, which is a big plus. I also love their Rite Aid card; you get 20% off all Rite Aid brand items and their rewards are a nice incentive to shop.
The store is located in a high traffic, so-​so area, between a laundry mat and a take out restaurant.
All in all, this is a pretty good store. They usually have what I need at a decent price. And I believe they now accept coupons.
