Seems there are new owners. Food takes long and they are a little rude. I try to use my debit so I wouldn’t have to go back to the card to grab my id because I had my kids and they said no I still need it my Id I understand is in favor for identity theft thing is I been going here for over 15 years not to mention I was there two days ago with the same order. Never before did I need my id to use my pin and than he swiped it as credit when I had said debit. Time for a new place

If you don’t feel like driving to Ho Mei (Hasbrouck Heights) or Cathay Coast (Essex Street), then this place is fine. But if you don’t mind the drive, then you’re not missing much.
This place is your average take out spot.
No secret menu, no special dishes, nothing out of the ordinary.
Yes, they use breast meat with a lot of their chicken dishes. But I prefer the juiciness of dark meat anyway, so that nuance is lost on me.

Just okay overall, although my friend thought the General Tso’s chicken was fantastic. Lots of seafood options in the lunch specials, which is a nice change. Their sister location in Garfield is much better.

as high quality as Chinese take out gets! the chicken is good quality, and any chicken dish you get will be great (we get the general tso’s chicken!) also they sell cigarettes which is really convenient for smokers :)

typical chinese takout spot. kindof grimy interior and cheesy décor. food cooked fast and food smells pretty good. not a real eat in spot although there is one table with 4 seats used for waiting mostly.

Hands down the best General Tso’s Chicken I’ve ever had. they use white meat chicken and it’s delicious. their fried rice however isn’t my favorite. the first time i had their food I was shocked and pleasantly surprised as to how good their food is. China House has the best Chinese food for takeout in the area i’ve ever sampled –i’ve sampled quite a few.
