I had a great experience here. My friend and I got some samples and they were both great. The sample I got was the Vanilla Chip chocolate and it was amazing! I bought six pieces and two Root Beer lollipops for about $ 7. I also got a coupon so I will definitely be coming back to a See’s Candies store to get some more Vanilla Chip chocolates.

There’s just something about going back to your hometown that makes the retail chain stores that much better. And, there’s isn’t much else at the Puente Hills Mall but to get fat. Nevertheless, this See’s store has been around forever. Hubby and I had always liked going when we were younger, especially because it was typically colder inside with the A/C going. We both love the cold… Anyways, everything is as stuck in the past as it has been. All your one pound chocolates are still in the same shelving as it was two decades ago. All of the nuts/almonds are still chocolate-covered in another shelving in the same position as it was two decades ago. The counter tops and personal chocolate selections are in the same place as before. So, yes, everything is the same as you can imagine, with maybe a few touch-ups of paint, here and there. Never had any real issue with service, although the last time that hubby and I came by(over the weekend), the employee wasn’t the most professional employee we ever met. She got her stuff done, and she wasn’t rude, but, eh, she just wanted the day to be over. Don’t we all? Prices are okay. Gotta come when it’s after a holiday to get discounted chocolates! Mmmm… chocolate-covered marshmallow hearts… :)

I experienced amazing customer service without actually being a customer! I’ve been to this location many times, whether to pop in for a free sample or to saddle up with a pound or two for my relatives. Each time the service has been outstanding and the product, well, c’mon let’s face it — It’s See’s candy. On this particular visit, Valentine’s Day was a few days away, but my wife was on a strict diet as part of a Cross Fit challenge. I had the idea to take a See’s box and the little paper cup wrappers and fill it with various types of berries, which were allowed by her diet.“ I walked in full expecting to either pay for the box, or even pay for a full box of candy and empty it. The gal was so sweet, she offered me the box and wrappers free of charge. That selfless gesture made this guy a customer for life.

Everyone that works at See’s are always so helpful. I brought my 89 year old grandma in who wanted to buy gifts for people in Taiwan. But instead of buying a box of lollipops for 10+ people, she wanted them in small boxes. Lady at the counter offered to give us small boxes so we can make it seem like a real gift. I would’ve never thought of that! Bonus: I love the sample chocolates they let you try.

Checked out this neat chocolate shop in the mall with the kids today. The lady behind the counter who seems to know well what the store offers, let us try several items! Enjoying the goodies we bought and, definitely we will be back.

When I’m on my way to work and I’m running early, but want just something to pick me up, but also have a sweet snack, I love going here. I get a single candy, but that is the best sometimes. Its just enough, and the ladies here are always so nice about it. If anything I just enjoy the cream filled chocolates. You goodness I so enjoy it here. They are the best.

Worst customer service at a See’s Candy store I’ve ever come across. All the other See’s Candies stores I have been to, have had qualified friendly staffs that would go the extra mile to please their guests. Customers left happy and satisfied, but this one was a different story. However, after reading the other posts, I think I encountered the«Lazy See’s Candy Lady» as Winnie H. mentioned. There were two ladies, one was preoccupied, assisting, greeting and working hard. The other one stood around looking rude and unfriendly. She finally asked me if I needed help after standing in front of her for at least a few minute looking at the chocolate selections. I asked if they had any other TOFFEE chocolates besides the«Toffee Brittle.» She pointed me to the peanut butter brittle and coconut brittle. I was CONFUSED. I wanted TOFFEE flavor. I politely declined those options with a smile and made it clear that I did not want a brittle, and I wanted toffee. She looked at me if I was CRAZY and started arguing with me. I was there with my boyfriend, so I was a bit passive and did not want to argue with her on the definition of toffee. I bought the toffee brittle chocolates regardless because I wanted toffee so bad. 1. Not knowing her chocolates 2. Arguing, being stuck up, and unfriendly 3. Being lazy. I’m sorry See’s Candies, but I will probably never go to nor promote any of your stores again after this awful experience. I feel like the management staff and human resource department needs to hire and train more skilled polite workers because if shes still there, obviously management does not care about the company and its customers.

This is the only place I go for chocolate since there’s no Godiva at this mall so it has to do. I usually get Dark Chocolate almonds. I love the samples =)
