Not good at all. I came here to get my length fixed from a previous haircut, and it was so unsatisfactory. I had this woman who looks like she is in her 60s cut my hair. She had blonde hair and she is mediocre at best at cutting hair. I went in to get my hair cut shorter, about 2 – 3 inches, and the way she cut it was so uneven and choppy… she made me stand up for most of the haircut, which I’ve never experienced. I asked her why, and she said that it was because there would be a bump in my hair from the chair… like I said, mediocre at best. In the end, when I said that I didn’t like how blunt and choppy the ends of my hair were, she said that she couldn’t thin it and fix it anymore… again, mediocre at best. When it was obvious that I wasn’t satisfied, she kept repeating that my hair looked good and balanced, but my layers were so uneven. It is not up to you to decide if my hair looks good or not. It is up to the paying customer. This made me feel pressured to just go with what SHE wanted instead of what I wanted. This was not a good experience, and I will not be having her cut my hair anytime soon. However, the only thing that I liked about her was that she was careful about not cutting my hair too short. Length is not the only thing that is important about haircuts, so this was not a great experience. The whole thing lasted for about 35 mins, yet she said that she couldn’t fix it anymore… ok.

Found new hair salon place. My hair designer is Nora. Luv the look and style. Will come again.

The haircut and price was pretty decent and the service was nice. The only thing that kept this from 5 stars was when I was given a hair wash, water was splashed all over me. It was not just like a few drops it was like whoosh let me pour some water on your face and shirt. I also had hair all over my back, which was fairly unpleasant. But the hairstylist David was super nice and friendly which made up for it.

Lori is AMAZING!!! I always leave the salon with my eyebrows on point. She never disappoints. I highly recommend her.

Brought my daughter here for her 1^st time waxing her eyebrows. Lori made her very comfortable and I love the way they came out. Will be coming back.

I’ve been getting my haircut and color with Lora for over 6 years! She is really one of the best and very accommodating with busy schedules. I have Asian hair and she knows what styles and colors look best and great with suggestions. Her shampoo massages are so relaxing and she is always so friendly and excited with styling hair. I’ve been going to Koyuki-​san for 4+ years. She’s great to talk to (in Japanese). When my hair gets too long, she likes to «play» with my hair. And the times she did, I actually liked the look and I stuck with it. So every time I go now, I leave it to her to cut and style my hair. Can’t really trust anyone with my hair. I moved away from Rowland/​Hacienda but I still drive an hour for a haircut.

So my sister came home a few weeks ago and her skin looked amazing! I asked her what she had been using and she said she had gotten a facial by Lori. I booked an appointment shortly after and was very pleased! The experience was very relaxing and the price is even better! I will definitely be going to Lori from now on.

Susan is awesome! She’s been doing my hair since I was a little girl (back when she was at super cuts) she’s nice, but not fake and let’s me be on my phone with out talking my ear off. I’m a browned hair girl and she dyes my hair red once a month!

I stumbled upon Lotus Salon when I was frantically searching for a good esthetician who I could trust to wax my eyebrows. You see, I got tired of women over waxing and over plucking my brows. Luckily, I found Lori. She is truly the best! She is reliable, a perfectionist and always makes sure I walk out a happy customer. If you’re in the Hacienda Heights area, and are in need of an awesome esthetician for your brows do yourself a favor and go see Lori — you’ll be glad you did!

I’ve been a client with Lori for almost 9 years now. She’s one of the best waxers I’ve come across and I only trust her to work on my eyebrows. I’m not the indulgent type. I don’t regularly get manicures, pedicures or facials. That being said, l do keep up with my brows. I admit, I’m a little OCD about my brows and I tend to have sensitive skin; both reasons to need someone who really knows what they are doing! Lori is accommodating and friendly and you really can’t go wrong with her prices! One of these days, I will treat myself to one of her many other services. Totally team Lori!

Just updating my stars. Its been 4 years since I wrote my review. I don’t think I can give it 5 stars anymore. 3 stars is a better fit.

I’ve never had my hair cut at this particular salon and maybe this Susan person that everyone is raving about is actually very good, but I called to ask about their prices and whoever I spoke with was so rude it’s unbelievable. When I asked how much a haircut was she curtly replied that it depends on how long my hair is, which is fine, I understand, BUT then when I was about to ask about appointments she just hung up on me! I was taken aback so I called back and told her that I wasn’t finished talking and asked her how much an ombré dye would cost and she said no one would be available to do that kind of a hairstyle for me and then hung up on me again before I could get out another word. This is definitely the worst customer service I’ve ever had over the phone and it makes me never want to even try going to Lotus Salon despite other good reviews.

I recently had my hair cut by Susan. She was very professional and easy to talk to! She gave me a great hair cut. I have very curly hair and she gave me a cut that I can wear both curly or straight. I will definitely be going back for my next hair cut!

Lotus Salon has a great name for the business and many friendly people that work inside this place. I came here just because many fellow Unilocalers said this place is pretty awesome.
Well I called and made an appointment and got a hair cut. I thought my hair cut was alright not really that amazing, but I’m glad to try this one out. Price was decent as well so really it is a standard salon. The location of this place is pretty close to the Puente Hills mall and is off of Colima Rd.
I’m still looking to find a good fit for hair salons so if anyone has one let me know. :) Thank you!

I’m an Asian guy with straight boring Asian hair that doesn’t do anything but stand up on end. I keep my Asian hair short because in my opinion, long hair doesn’t compliment my huge Asian face. The down side is that I always have to cut my Asian hair super duper often and the sides are hard to «fade.» Now, fading Asian hair isn’t something all stylists can do. The Asian Fade is probably the hardest thing even the most experienced stylists will be challenged to do in their entire career. I’ve been to stylists that charge up the butt for their services and they can’t even do a single fade. They can be the best «blonder» in the business, but they fade is like poo.
They have to be sure to start with a reasonably short length at the bottom of the fade and successfully and evenly use the clippers to diagonally «fade» the short length to the longest hair length on the top of the Asian customer’s scalp. The stylist basically has to have a surgeon’s presicion, otherwise, it’s ruined. I’ve gone to many stylists in my time and some do it better than others. But Susan at Lotus Salon does it like Asians do rice. Friggin’ awesome. She’s like Bruce Lee with those clippers… the Edwards Scissorhands of Asian Fades, if you will.
I was referred to her by my coworker and she did not disappoint. Lotus Salon is located in a strip mall, so it’s easy in and out. There are a lot of stylists there, but if you’re an Asian guy that needs a nice Asian fade for Asian hair, then go here! She’s friendly and personable. I don’t know where she was educated, but it was probably the School of Asian Fading cause that girl can fade like no other. I’m still in awe of her fading skills for Asian guys. Even for $ 20, my cheap Asian self didn’t mind shelling out the dough for this.
