Bad service！ Normally you will have 5 minutes to talk at the doctor which you have to wait for 2 hours!
Sad experiences !!!

DR. JANE GU
After more than 2 years of giving her business, taking both my son and daughter to her. This arrogant Taiwanese doctor told us to not come back to her clinic earlier today because WE are paying cash?! HAVE WE OWED YOU 1 penny? NO. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS ARROGANT DOCTOR!!! She’s gonna retire soon anyways, she doesn’t need my business, all she need is MONEY

I am really surprised about the negative reviews… That being said, I love Dr. Gu. She has been my kids pediatrician for a long time and I couldn’t be more pleased with her. She doesn’t have a bad attitude what she has is the kind of additive that makes you comfortable. She is not the type to never look up from the chart and run in and out like a lot of others. She looks you in the eyes and acts like she has known you for years. Maybe that was perceived differently and taken as rude??? The thing that makes me love this office even more are the MAs. We all know that we speak to the MAs a lot more than the drs and they are the ones giving the shots and her MA is one of the best. I will continue to be a proud customer of Dr. Gu as long as she practices medicine! Thank you Dr. Gu staff!

I agree with what John F. said. Dr. Gu is not for every parent. I have been seeing her since I was a child and now my kids are seeing her. She will always sit down and spend time discussing your issues and problems. Like what others said, she will blame the parents on everything but shouldn’t the parents be held accountable for their kids? «If your kid has a fever, give fever medicine. If your kid has diarrhea, give non-​oilly food until better.» She will teach parents how to take care of their children. I like her for that.
Some parents feel offended but I don’t. She is just direct and very informative to me, and I want that kind of doctor. Not some doctors I know whom won’t even spend more than 3 mins per visit.

Really bad pediatrician.
1. My daughter got some medication allergy, I told her about that, but she said some bugs may bite her, that’s totally ridiculous.
She asked me to keep using that medicine and observe for a few days.
I follow her instructions, but my daughter got worse and worse, finally I made decision, stop using that medicine, then my daughter got better and better.
2. For flu shot, she always charge me $ 15 copay, but my daughter’s current pediatrician said that should be 100% covered.
I highly recommend not use this doctor!!!

I have 2 daughters and they all have Dr. Jane Gu. I like her because not only she makes me feel she know what she’s doing, she also has this attitude that make her more special among other Pediatrician. If some thing wrong with your kid, she blame on the parents, which is so true because kids can’t take care themselves very well. So she puts everything on the parents. Every time I take my kids to see her, not only my kids receive treament but us (parents) too. She usually spend more time on teaching us parents how to reacts in front of our kids when our kids act in a certain way. I believe this is a very important becasue after all, it’s all about your kids right? I understand Dr. Jane Gu is not for everybody but I know she is definitely for my kids, and for me too. 2 Thumbs up for her & her friendly team!

She is the type of doctor who, if you walked in with blood seeping from your eyeballs, would tell you to «just drink water» and «get more sleep.»
She’s also very snippy and can be rude to the patients, so there’s a chance she’d tell you it’s your fault that your eyeball blood is dripping over her carpet.
Oh, and you’ll wait 45+ minutes to get this diagnosis, too.

I gave her one star because she’s professional and she seems to know what she’s doing. But her attitude towards patients need to improve.
One time my 11 month old was having diarrhea for over 3 weeks, she was not helping at all. All my information came from internet, not her.
And when ask to speak to her, it’s always leave a message, and she never reply you (happened twice to me, to be exact).
I understand the busy schedule of a doctor, but she gotta understand the need of little patient’s mom to ask questions when we are really unsure about anything and need her «professional advice.»
I felt so helpless when my little one’s doctor is like this. You gotta understand, as an adult, I can wait for a day or two to take care of my problems; but for babies, especially when you are a new mother, when you need doctor’s advices, when you need someone to tell you it’s okay for that condition to wait for a day or two, she just gotta be there. Or she is really not qualify to be a pediatrician. Having all that knowledge inside of her head but lack the support she should be providing to little patients really turned me away.
