I got introduced to this place by my friend. He would also tell me to try there meatball sandwich. Ever since I tried it I’m in love. It’s the best meatball sandwich.

A quaint gem nestled in a Hacienda Heights strip mall. The sandwiches are great and reasonably priced($ 8. 95 for a large sandwich big enough to my girlfriend and I). Clean inside, friendly service, and food quality you can taste. Can’t go wrong here.

Best meatball sandwich I’ve had since moving to LA! It’s walking distance from my house and reasonable price. I will definitely be back

My family and I love to go here. This little Italian deli is very casual and relaxing. The food tastes like A4 Star Restaurant service is outstanding everybody is very polite and so helpful. The deli is very clean. My wife and I go there at least two to three times a week for lunch.

I made the mistake of purchasing Carne Asada meat from here when I was in a desperate pinch. OMG… I don’t know what the heck that was but it definitely was not tender Carne Asada meat which is usually flap meat or skirt steak. I think they used round steak… it was so tough and overly seasoned… we honestly could not consume it. The other weird thing was that the seasoned meat left a weird thin coat of residue on my BBQ and it almost didn’t allow it to char or get color on the meat? Maybe it was just the cut… but the cooked meat resulted in a greyish brown steak instead of rich brown color of cooked meat. This meat market has some great cuts of beef… my one star is based on the Carne Asada… lesson learned only buy Carne Asada from a carniceria! The Mexicans are all saying DUH!

This is the place for your barbecue meats. Everything is fresh and the guys behind the counter are always helpful and professional. Definitely my favorite place to get my goods.

I recently tried this place for lunch. The food was great and reasonably priced. I ordered over the phone and picked up with ease. The second time I went there was to pick up some dinner to take home. The portions were good although the food seemed to sitting in the heat pans for part of the day.

This place is a gem! I’ve only stopped by to eat but looking forward to purchasing some of their meats pretty soon. when I visit I always get their meatball sub which mouthgasmic! I havent tried anything else, but I am sure the spaghetti and meatballs are just as amazing. I am looking forward to this weekend and picking up some steaks and then I’ll update the review on that.

Love Village Meats! Great fast Italian food to-go. Sandwiches are huge! I always order the pastrami with marina on top. Always friendly service. They also have daily pasta specials.

IThe food is great and the selection is superb except for the fact that they don’t offer any pizza dishes. The place is clean and very well kept and the food is hot and fresh. But the girl behind the counter can definitely use an attitude adjustment. I guess shr forgets that she’s not doing me a favor and that I am a customer here.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. The food has always been delicious. Authentic tasting Italian food is hard to find, but this place has it. The Italian Meatball Sandwich is awesome and so are their stuffed shells. I highly recommend.

This place is a small Italian hidden gem! The prices are very reasonable and the food tasted authentic and delish(stuffed shells and meatball with garlic bread). The atmosphere is pleasant(nothing fancy) and I loved the daily specials. I can only base my rating on the Deli side, but looking at the cuts of meat I WILL be returning. The Harris Ranch steaks look just as good as the prepared food.

Got a simple turkey, ham and cheese and it was delicious! The sandwich was loaded with meat and the chicken noodle soup was really good as well. Definitely found my new lunch spot.

Had a craving for a chicken parm sandwich. Found this place on Unilocal and was not disappointed. The gentlemen at the counter were both very helpful and friendly. Giving 4 stars until I try more of their food. So far so good.

Item ordered: Chicken Marsala which includes pasta and garlic bread This review is purely for the Italian Deli side, I have not bought meat from this place yet. I have come here several times to get hot food… I have not had their sandwiches yet. I have gotten pasta with sausage and meatballs and chicken parmigiana before here. This time I got the Chicken Marsala. With tax the price was $ 8.35 which I think is very reasonable for Italian fast food, and the portions are great, he filled up the container with pasta. The Chicken Marsala was a breast served on top of a generous portion of fettucini alfredo and a side piece of garlic bread. The chicken didn’t have a strong marsala flavor to it, so eating it with the pasta, this dish became more like a chicken alfredo pasta, but I liked it. I like this place, it’s nice to have a place to go when I have a craving for Italian food and I don’t want to hassle with dining in a restaurant.

I wanna give this place full stars but I was really disappointed in the meatball sandwich that all my friends swear is the best. But the meatballs were way to big for the sandwich and the sauce was not tasty. I have had other sandwiches and they are great but pass on the meatball.

If you come for the meat market then 4 stars. As a deli it’s 3 stars. Le Food: 3⁄5. half pastrami sandwich and lentil soup. Good but nothing fancy or over the top. Atmosphere: 2⁄5. Deli next to meat shop. Soiled linen tablecloths. No AC or it was not adequate. I was sweating buckets. Service: 3⁄5. Cafeteria styles counter where you order and pay for food at one end then pick up at opposite end. Quick and efficient. Expense: 4⁄5. Not a bad deal for a quick lunch. Or order to go. Return: 4⁄5. If I want a deli sandwich then this place is a good bet. Or if I want a good cut of meat to pick up on the way home.

Went there to buy some Harris Ranch ribeyes and porterhouses for the weekend bbq, but ended up also trying a plate of their delicious food for lunch. This meatery has it all! My favorite harris ranch beef which I no longer need to drive downtown to procure and it has a decent deli. I ordered the following… penne pasta with meatball, and a stuffed chicken breast. Maybe I was hungry because I felt everything was good from the pasta to the garlic bread to the meatball and the chicken breast which was not tough or dry. Took 1 star off for tables not fully clean and the penne pasta having been sitting at the counter for a bit so some pasta were a bit rubbery /dehydrated.
