I always come here for 滷味。 Their food is so good!!! I come here almost once every week. My favorite is 滷鴨翅、燻腸、豬耳絲 and 麻辣乾拌麵。 The service is always great and food is awesome!

We tried their Chicken Ham Noodle Soup and Beef Noodle Soup. I love their complimentary mustard cabbage. Both broths are great and tastes fresh. Both meats are tender. Noodles are a bit off, tasteless for small noodles even though those have been sitting in the broth bath for the entire meal. I must return and try some side dishes. Looks so good. Service is friendly yet slow.

This is a really cute place; it’s a small Taiwanese mom-and-pop shop that can really only fit 12 – 15 people. A lot of locals are coming in and out buying frozen dumplings or cold mixed dishes(小菜). I ordered the«Original Beef Noodle Soup» 原汁牛肉麵 which was $ 9.50. It was a good serving of beef and noodles, pickled vegetables(酸菜) served on the side. The broth tasted clean and beefy; it wasn’t too salty. You can either order thick or thin noodles (粗麵活或細麵)and they ask you if they want it spicy or not. I also ordered Hot and Spicy Bean Curd slivers (麻辣香乾)which tasted great because of a little helping of that Chinese staple MSG. The dish was mixed well and the flavors were balanced. When ordering this, I thought that a dish of it would cost around $ 4.50 because of the sign, but the lady only charged me a dollar extra! She is very sweet; service is efficient and polite. Total came out to be around 10.50. Would definitely come again!

I come here for the cold side dishes. They’re pricier then most places. Side dishes are okay. I usually get the seaweed. You can get it Togo, they put it in a small black container.

No idea a place like this existed until a buddy of mine recommended. In fact, he pushed for it for about 2 years before we finally went in to try. Old school Taiwanese spot, with noodles, dumplings, a minced pork rice as the only rice dish, and… some cold dishes. I went with the recommended beef noodle soup, but changed it up and got it with half beef and half tendon. Beef was really tender, but the tendon, wow, they are some cooked down tendon. Super soft, almost melts in your mouth. I dig the beef stock here too. They can adjust the spiciness of the soup, and I went with medium. I can probably go spicy next time. The provide the pickled mustard green on the side so go crazy. Also you get to choose between thin noodle and wide noodle. Tried some of the cold dishes, and the pig ear is probably my favorite. Lots of people order their side dishes to go, and they even sell zhajiangmian sauces on the side. Small spot, so if you have party bigger than 4, it’s gonna be tough. Parking lot is tiny too.

Came here for chicken soup to go. The restaurant itself was pretty tiny but neat. They have varieties of cold dishes to go but it is kind of pricey. The chicken soup was a little bland which I would not mind at all because I was sick. I was surprised that they put ham cubes and bamboo shoot into the soup, that was pretty Taiwanese style. The chicken meat though, was mostly chicken wings which I do not like. The waitress was super friendly and provided recommendations of what side dishes to get. I tried their shredded bean curd and baked bran. The baked bran was way too greasy and salty. I do like the shredded bean curd, they add celery for extra crunchiness. I might be back to try their different kinds of noodle since I am a absolute noodle lover. However, I would not get their chicken soup again.

So excited to have found this little restaurant! The lady working the take-out, in store serving, order taking, and phone all by herself was BOSS! And she was doing it all while maintaining a sweet, gentle smile! The menu was quite simple… Just about 10 items or so, but it was in Chinese with brief English descriptions, so for non-Chinese speaking patrons, it may be helpful to find a pic of the food you want and show it when you order. That’s what I did I got the beef noodle bowl. It was bomb!!! The ground beef layer tastes amaze balls!

Items ordered: Chicken Noodle Soup, boiled pork and cabbage dumplings. I love this place, this place is comfort food for me. I mainly come here for their Chicken Noodle soup, but everything is good here. I love their Chicken Noodle soup. It’s a simple, clean, and tasty noodle soup. It is a clear chicken broth that has around 4 pieces of chicken wing and some bamboo shoots and a generous portion of noodles. And it is served piping hot, prefect for a cold winter day. The texture of the noodle is good too. I also ordered boiled pork and cabbage dumplings. The dumplings are pretty good, it’s another comfort food for me. All the food is tasty here and I would consider it a good bang for the buck kind of place. Definitely recommend!

All their cold dishes are delicious, perfect pairing with beer! Especially love their smoked pork intestine, smoked duck, bean curd, bamboo shoots, and beef tendon.

Talk about hidden GEM! Ever since my dad took me 4 years ago — this has still been my top #1 beef noodle restaurant in Southern California! KEYWORD — SOCAL!(If you guys have any suggestions to other beef noodle soup restaurants, please let a homegirl know!) Anyways, for the past 4 years i’ve been going they have always been consistent with the soup, meat and noodles! Which is awesome! The wife and husband that is always there, I believe they are the owners and chef, they’re so kind and sweet! I always order the beef noodle soup and you need to request for the pickled cabbage once you receive your bowl so you can add as much into your soup of your liking. When ordering the spice-levels the mild and medium is perfect depending your mood. The spice does slowly burn. If you’re not in the mood for noodles, I suggest trying their dumpling soup(they are known for their beef noodle soup and dumplings, they also sell their frozen dumplings). If it is your first time here, make sure you try the beef noodle soup or dumpling soup! Their soup makes you want to keep coming back! Everytime I invite new people to eat here and they fall in love/crave it just as much as I do :) As for seating, they aren’t too busy — there is always a table available! So I have never had to wait. There was always immediate seating! Be careful at coming before they close, one of the nights I went in at 8:20 they were closed when they were suppose to close at 9:00pm. Maybe it was a slow night for them or they ran out of soup? But I was so devastated. However going during lunch time there’s never been any trouble.

Me and slave girl wants to get some beef noodle soup today and I wanted to try a new place. I kind of remember this place from reading Unilocal reviews, so I suggested to give this place a try. For being in the middle of nowhere, this place can be hard to locate since restaurant’s English name was not easy to spot, but parking was easy. The restaurant is small and cozy. It looks like a 2 men operation so the service may very. Lucky me speaks Chinese from time to time so I didn’t experience anything unpleasant, but to be honest, when slave girl spoke English to the lady(cindy maybe?) she understood perfectly. She was also very friendly and informative, I am gonna guess it’s because we were the only customers there at that time. We ordered the beef noodle soup and chicken noodle soup. The portion was huge and fulfilling. There are two noodles you can pick from and I believe they make their own noodles. I wasn’t too impressed with the beef noodle soup due to its blandness. The beef was a little dry and the broth didn’t smell or taste beefy. It almost feels like the broth was chicken soup based. The chicken noodle soup however, Omg, so delicious and tasty. It’s almost the same as my mom’s chicken noodle soup. It came with 4 chicken wings, 2 cubes of ham and bunch of bamboo shoots. I would seriously come back just for this. Around the counter, you can get side dishes for either $ 4.50(veggie) or $ 6.50(meat) a plate. You can ask them to combine two items in one plate to try a variety of selections. We got bean curds/seaweed and smoked duck gizzard/smoked cuttlefish. It was very delicious and considerably cheap. They also sell frozen dumplings, Chinese tamale, wonton, and noodles. I would go back to try the dumplings next time, but mostly, for the chicken noodle soup and the side dishes.

Best noodles and cold dishes in town. Our family have started to eat here before 1995.(maybe even earlier) Never tired of their food. We roughly go there once a week even after 15 years. My children now have grew up and moved to other town. But when they have chance around here, they still want to eat at Cindy’s Kitchen.

It’s a really small place, in a really«obscure» location, and when I entered, the person behind the counter seemed surprised I was in there, which I thought weird since it is a restaurant. Anyway, there is nothing written in English as far as the menu, although the person behind the desk spoke English just fine. I got the chicken noodle soup since that what was recommended by others on Unilocal.Overall, it was pretty good and I might go there again if I were craving it, but for the $ 8, I think there are better options out there. Overall, I would give this possibly 3.5 stars but no more.

MYFAVORITEPLACEFORBEEFNOODLESOUP. The cold dishes in the front of the restaurant are delicious! Definitely order some to share among your party. We got seaweed salad and the shredded bean curd and both were great! Beef Noodle Soup — One of the best beef noodle soups I’ve tasted. I asked for half tendon, half beef. The beef melts in your mouth, and the tendon is chewy but not overly chewy. For the non-spicy one, the soup is a bit bland for my taste. For the mild one, it’s a lingering spicy. There’s no peak of extreme spicyness — it’s just stays spicy throughout your meal. They add green onion bits on top, which add a nice flavor. Chicken Ham Noodle Soup– Broth was light and hearty. Shredded Vegetable and Pork Soup — Better vegetable and pork noodles than most places! Cold Noodles with Vegetables — Their version of zhajiangmian. Usually, it’s oily to make it tasty, but this one was light and flavorful! Definitely my second favorite here. Come here for some authentic Chinese food!

If you love authentic Taiwanese home cooking this is definitely one of the best in the Rowland area. It’s located in the tiny strip mall on the corner of Punta Del Este Dr and Colima on the right next to the haircut/All State shops. This place is a mom and pop shop. The menu literally consists of 10 items. Ask for the english menu if you can’t read chinese lol. The chinese lady will gladly help you if you’re not familiar with TW cuisine too. They also have a huge selection of cold dishes sold by the pound. You also have the option to mix 2 items or 3 items for dine in or to go orders. The prices range from $ 4−6/lb. They also have a nice selection of frozen and to go items in the freezers in the back if you’re looking for home made dumplings/pot stickers, wontons, meatballs, etc. Or you just want some cold drinks too. The beef noodle soup comes in either spicy or non spicy versions and your choice of thick or thin noodles. The non spicy version is just like my mom makes it with a light soy based broth topped with scallions and 4 – 5 pieces of super tender beef. It’s not oily or salty like alot of other places :) Note they have increased the prices over the past year to $ 9 a bowl for your beef noodle compared to the old $ 7 price. But i guess that’s the price of inflation. Gotta still support your small businesses. :)

I have been coming to Cindy’s kitchen for years now. Since it is only a 5 minute drive from my house, it is a great location to satisfy my beef noodle soup craving. This review is strictly for the dine-in experience since I never like ordering my noodles to go. I prefer eating it at the restaurant in order to have the best experience possible. There is usually only one worker in the front since it is not a big place. I come here during off hours(2−3pm) and never had trouble finding seating. They have many cold side dishes to choose from and you can even split between two if you’d like which is nice. I always order the beef noodle soup with less spice. The noodles come in a big bowl that will definitely fill you up. The soup base here is quite unique, combined with the pickled vegetables it is one of the main reasons why I keep coming back here. This is a very mom n pop shop and the menu is all in Chinese so it’s advisable to come here with someone who has either been here before or is savvy in Chinese. Parking can be tricky since the private lot is very small and is shared with other business in the same plaza. Since noodles places a plentiful in the 626, this place certainly stacks up as one of the legit places. 4⁄5 — I’m a fan!

our neighborhood noodle/dumpling store (it’s called Jin Hu Lu in chinese) this is one of the only stores in the small strip mall which has remained the same. funny that i have not written a review since i’ve been coming here for years. sometimes, i come in to buy things in the frozen section like dumplings, wontons, chinese meatball, chive pockets… we know family friends who drive all the way here for the chinese meatball in the frozen section… lol. i would recommend the dumplings over the wontons. sometimes it’s to grab takeout… most recently, we dined in. i noticed that when you dine in, they actually give you more food. when you choose the little dishes for takeout, it is limited to the box. when you eat there, they pile on the plate generously. you get more noodles too… perhaps too much in some cases… lol. (they provide an english version of their menu) we like to get the little dish of spicy beef slices and pig ears. really like the jia jiang noodles(thin noodles). comes with a delicious sauce with beancurd/ground meat and shredded cucumbers. the chicken noodle soup is okay. the soup itself tastes great but the noodles are the ones i have at home(and a bit overcooked). they put 4 chicken wings in the noodle soup too. we noticed four people who walked in at the end of our meal who clearly just woke up(it was 8pm!!) their hair was sticking up(very messy) and eyes were barely open… haha. i was looking at my credit card statement. for some reason, cindy’s kitchen comes up as lydia’s kitchen…

It’s a very small store tucked away in the quite side of hacienda heights. I discovered this place a long time ago, they use to have decent food but maybe cause there’s no constant customers, so their food isn’t as good as it used to be. Only thing i still come back for is the frozen veggie buns! so so so so good!

One day i was craving beef noodle soup and Earthen was closed so I Unilocaled beef noodle soup and found this place. I’m very glad I found this place!!! VERYGOODBEEFTENDONSOUP! WAYBETTERTHANEARTHEN! You can choose skinny or thick noodle… i like the texture of the thick noodle! :) I usually go to Earthen cuz well that’s closer to where i live and i was just being lazy to find other place. Earthen does have great green onion pancake, the beef noodle soup was kinda whatever now and it has this stink once the soup gets cold! I’m not sure what it is. Even my friend said so the other day and didn’t finish 2⁄3 of her noodle soup cuz she said there’s a smell to it. Anyway, so Cindy Liu Deli is this really small shop in this really small plaza that I would’ve never find if not for Unilocal!Has a salon next to it or something. They has lots of other little dishes/appetizer that you can buy by the weight kinda like at the deli that you pick stuff from the display fridge and they put it in the container for you. The meat items are kinda oily, my fiancé who’s white did not like that much, it is pretty oily to my standard as well but i know you are not suppose to just eat them like that but kinda drink beer or plum juice with it. They have good green-bean soup too~ it’s a dessert drink. Pretty refreshing and light. They take credit card too! :) Oh and they sold frozen dumplings here too that you can bring home and just cook them real quick!
