The bahn mi is good from here I recommend the bbq pork and their Thai tea is great but the customer service is bad and by customer service I mean the older man at the register he’s not very friendly. also the portions have shrunk and the prices did go up but I they’re still running some good promos like the bogo boba drinks. I still recommend it if your in the mood for some good phở or Viet food. Very Delicious! Better than lees baguettes!

I come to this place quite often since I work nearby. I finally decided to take the time and write a review because I think they deserve five stars. I love their food, prices and they are friendly. I enjoy a boba every now and then but my favorite here is the pudding milk tea. They accept debit cards with no minimum or charge but it can take some time to get your order. I call it in sometimes and they are great about having it ready. The parking lot is very busy especially at lunch time so I usually park far. Great place for lunch and best of all it’s so healthy!!! I love the Phở they have great lunch specials and the sandwiches are delicious. Only thing I didn’t like was the shrimp fried rice, they use small frozen shrimp and it’s pricey. Everything else so far tastes great and if you eat there they serve a nice presentation and you can refill on vegetables and what not.

This is the kind of place you go to for good cheap food. So you need to know what to order. I always get the buy 2 get 1 free sandwiches, buy one get one drinks, and anything prepackaged in the front. Docked off one star for consistently slow service.

Service is super slow here. Even when my order is togo. Gotta say the prices are reasonable and the food and drinks are delicious. Go Vietnam ! BTW I’m still here waiting for my food :/

Had the #1 beef noodle soup. The broth was super greasy and really tasteless. Extremely disappointing. Pork spring rolls were«meh», and the peanut sauce left a lot to be desired. Only positive thing I can say is that the customer service was decent for it being really busy. Unfortunately, they weren’t checking receipt numbers and a different customer took my order and I had to wait for them to make a new one for me. Wouldn’t go back, except maybe for the iced coffee. I’ll drive a lot further and go to Viet Huong in El Monte!

If you love Vietnamese food, this is the place! Extremely clean, very inexpensive delicious food! Broth for soups are delicious and clean, chicken tender and succulent. The phở condiments are self serve so cuts down on waste, which I like. The staff is friendly and they are cranking out big to go items. Again, prices are great :).

Great prices for the food, good for lunch and quick dinner. Love going when I can’t think of anything else to eat. Always hits the spot. A must try if you need something quick and on a budget! :)

Really yummy beef stew! And the egg rolls and shrimp that comes in the appetizer special is also really good! They have a lot on the menu to chose from. They have phở, sandwiches, platters, and desserts. Although the phở was delicious, the meat had a LOT of fat on it that kept grossing me out.

The boba drinks are buy one get one free. I come for the shrimp spring rolls which are already pre packaged and ready to go. I had the Vermicelli, shrimp, and BBq pork(one of my fav dishes)… Not quite right here not sure what the difference is but I don’t like it. I stick to the rolls and the Boba milk tea :)

Like any other BMC, «bang for the buck». $ 5 for fresh food. They offer BOGO drinks, buy 2 get 1 free Banh Mi french rolls, buy 2 Get 1 free baked pates, and $ 4 chicken phở. You can spend $ 10 and be full for the full day. I frequented this place for about 3 weeks straight, M-Friday. haha. Atmosphere: The inside is new but the outside looks rather rundown. It’s a fast paced restaurant so you shouldnt the best of the best, but just expect Vietnamese food fast. They offer pre-made foods for on-the-go, so you get to see their quality before ever ordering. Sometimes you can even ask them to make a fresh batch for you. Food: For what you pay, you should expect what you get. It’s not a Michelin star restaurant but its above palatable. If you compare the price point to the food quality, i would say this its«bang for the buck». $ 4 for a full bowl of noodles with chicken? No tip? Yes plz! I generally stick to the brisket phở, chicken noodle soup, shrimp and pork vermicelli, sandwiches(#1 and BBQ pork), and the spring rolls. Service: Look, lots of people are going to tell you that service is lacking. Yes, it is. It’s meant to be fast service. You pay, you eat, you get out. Ready for story time? Good. One time this lady had ordered food, ate it, and wanted a complete refund or something else. She ordered exactly what she wanted to eat, but it just didnt come out just perfect for her. She demanded a full refund or exchange of the food, but the cashier just wouldnt have it. She complained and complained until someone finally called the owner and just gave her a refund. In all, a full refund or an exchange is a «service», not«mandatory». With prices this low, just order something else. Overall: If you know what you want, don’t expect too much, this is fine. If you’re ok with paying $ 5 for a subway sandwich that doesnt fill you up or spending $ 10 – 12 at a sit in Phở restaurant, then this isn’t the place for you. TIP: BBQ pork, Spring Rolls, and pork and shrimp vermicilli are my goto choices. if you eat inside and want to use their bowls for your beansprouts, peppers, and basil, their bowls are generally WET, as in they just finished washing it. Get a paper towel and wipe it down before using it.

Love this place man. I don’t even like Vietnamese food that much because my ass grew up eating it everyday LMAO! Come here for their sandwiches Vietnamese dishes. It’s nice and fast. Always order boba cause its 2 for 3 dollars and I am so down for that everyday. Food is alright and pretty good at times.

This is all value. Foods is ok, but most phở places taste the same unless they are very bad. This is low cost Vietnamese foods. To go packages are at even better price. The chicken phở is a killer at under $ 4. I came here when I simply want a Vietnamese fix.

This place has decent food for an amazing price. They also offer tons of BOGO deals with banh mi’s and drinks. They have $ 4 chicken phở that’s pretty good for the price. Servings are huge as well. They make a really great ginger sauce and the phở toppings have a self serve station which is pretty great. Customer service on the other hand is a whole different story. Every person I’ve ever encountered here(and I frequent this place) seems utterly miserable. Especially the Asian guy with the glasses. Totally expressionless and out right rude at times. Don’t know what’s up with the employees. I’d totally give this place 4 stars if the workers didn’t suck.

Didn’t actually eat here because they use chicken broth in all of their soups… But 1 star for customer service. The lady at the register was being really nice to the people ahead of me in line but when they finished ordering she basically ignored me. I took initiative and walked up and tried to ask her about the broth and suddenly she couldn’t understand English and tried to get some guy in the back to talk to me. Hmm I don’t think they get a lot of black people to be completely honest. Not every black person is ignorant. Do better

Pork on a budget. BBQPORKBANHMI Where else in hacienda heights can you get a foot’s worth of pork in a sandwich for less than FOURBUCKS?! It’s not a rhetorical question… let me know and my cheap pork loving ass’ll be there too.

Vietnamese fast food! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Banh Mi Che Cali chain«restaurants» scattered around Rosemead and Garden Grove, it’s basically Vietnamese fast food. It’s dirt cheap. It’s fast. It is what it is. I like that it is close to where I live so I don’t have to drive to Rosemead whenever the craving for Banh mi comes up. I see a lot of complaints about how«dirty» this establishment is, but I honestly never had an issue with their cleanliness. Don’t expect table wait service here. Think McDonalds. I always get my food to go anyway. They do accept credit cards. That is a huge plus! Again, I don’t have to worry about going to the atm to get cash. This is extremely convenient for me. The boba drinks are buy 1 get one free. I almost feel bad for getting it because I feel like I am stealing. The Banh mi sandwiches are buy 2 get one free. I can literally walk out with three sandwiches and two drinks for less than 10 dollars.

This place is okaaaay. I tried the combo Banh mi and one of their bean desserts. It wasn’t anything special and not good enough for me to come back. I thought the food was bland. Maybe the other menu items are better. This place is the fast food of Vietnamese food and they always have specials on their sandwiches.

Vietnamese fast food! Probably one of the healthiest options for fast food and it’s amazingly cheap too. They sell Vietnamese sandwiches, noodle dishes, rice dishes, and a variety of pre-prepared foods. I’ve never had the sandwiches here, but I’ve had their chicken phở and bun bo hue(spicy beef noodle soup) as well as their pre-prepared foods like BBQ pork buns and spring rolls. The food is decent and at those prices, it’s a steal, especially the 50% off chicken phở(it’s $ 3!). I like to come here if I want something cheap, quick, but still relatively healthy. It’s a great addition to the fast food options in Hacienda Heights.

This is the cheapest vietnamese food I’ve had in my whole life. Except for when I was actually in vietnam, but that’s another story. They have an amazing buy 2, get 1 vietnamese sandwich deal, which makes each sandwich come out to $ 2 each. A $ 2 sandwich!!! omg! I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich with the veggies on the side. I love adding the pickled daikon and carrot, but am not a huge fan of parsley. I was a tiny bit disappointed that the carrot to diakon ratio was so big. There were hardly any slivers of daikon. I also was adventurous in adding some jalepenos too. They also spread this mayo spread on the sandwiches… I wasn’t a fan. I would order the sandwich without the mayo sauce in the future. They offer other very affordable dishes including rice plates and phở. Obviously, it gets very popular during lunch. You can order your food to go, but it seems like many people choose to eat in. We had to wait for a table, and they aren’t very good at clearing tables. We piled the dirty dishes on the corner of our table and waited and waited for someone to clear them. No one ever came :(Along with no one coming to clear the last customers’ dirty dishes, the man behind the cashier was not very hospitable. He never smiled and was not friendly at all. We left full of our $ 2 sandwiches and happy that we spent so little on lunch. They also have boba drinks. I would strongly recommend to be ready to take your food to go, unless you’re ok with eating on tables stacked with other people’s dirty dishes. The service also has much left to be desired. But for the price, this is an A-OK place in my book.

Stumbled onto this please in route to Starbucks. Formerly a Popeyes Chicken, this is the most recent business on the southeast corner of Gale & Hacienda Blvd. Parking was convenient since it’s in a strip center and therefore lots of parking. Placed my order at the front counter and I was given a number to place on my table since I was eating in. I went with the chicken phở and what a bargain since it was 50% off the regular price. The phở was flavorful and plentiful with white meat chicken and included a dipping sauce for the chicken — which was made with lots of garlic. BTW they also offer to go items — ready made and make up fresh sammies to order. Business seems to be well here, eat in and take out. I would return here again!
