Great neighborhood spot. Everyone was friendly. The service was great. They have four televisions for me to watch weekend football, the news, and more. They even have the directv package which means Seahawks on Sunday’s (east coast games). NOO need to go into the city just come here. Glad I found this bar after the season before the playoffs and super bowl, but maybe I’ll be coming here for the super bowl. I love my Seahawks and great bars.
They have pool tables, darts, and the best part is they have my favorite beer; Mad Elf/​Blue Moon/​even allagash. They have several beers on tap and defiantly made my Friday evening!
After New Years not a lot of people, but it’s always a different crowd someone told me. I meet Andy who was very friendly, ways checked up on me, even when he knew I was at my limit. I love that kind of service, I will be back. Check out the photos. Food; $ 6 — $ 9 bucks. I really want to try their burgers too, they didn’t have any when I came in. This is only a few blocks from my house. I’m defiantly going to make this my neighborhood bar.

It is about time for a review update. For those of you who have been following me on here, it is safe to assume that I am a huge fan of this place.
I had the pleasure of meeting all the bartenders over the past two years and each and every one of them are absolutely wonderful. During the winter time, this is a head up, the bartender Lisa can make a great Hot Toddy that will warm you right up.
The owner Sean — the best – words can not describe how nice he is.
Large flat screen TVs — my sporting event haven — clean bar — serves bar food.
On Thursday nights, it’s all about Karaōke from 10pm until close. Soooooo much fun! The host Rose rocks. If you want to sing, show up early because it fills up quick.
Also I must add, last year I had a surprise party for my boyfriend in the back – they have a private room if you need it — no extra charge you just need a certain amount of people to attend — Sean was more than happy to accommodate any and all off my needs and everyone who went had a blast!
As a whole, I must say this the best dive bar in Hudson County, check it out!

Really a great local bar, the bartenders are all friendly and the crowd is a nice mix. They have two pool tables and have two areas for darts. The food is typical bar food but I have to suggest their buffalo wings because the chunky bleu cheese it comes with is amazing. Thursdays are Karaōke night and you better sign up fast because the spots fill up pretty quickly. Every other night they have a music machine you can go up to and select music. You can even rent out the backroom for parties and whatnot. Never a bad time when I go here.

This bar has been one of the best bars I’ve been to. The staff is friendly and welcoming! I have been coming here for awhile and Enjoyed every second with all my friends! Love this bar!

Karaōke nights here are crazy! Everyone is always having a good time whether it’s watching games in the big screens or shooting pool. Pick a song everyone loves and people will sing along with you! Oh yeah, and the st Patrick’s day parties here are awesome! Definitely worth checking out and making some kick ass friends.

Just moved to the area and wanted to find a nice bar to play pool at, checked this place out and it was perfect. We had a blast, the bartender was awesome, hello Irish Pub with Irish bartender! Drinks are strong, music good, bathrooms decent, spacious. What else can you ask for? We will be back.

Closest thing you’ll get to a (Jersey City/​Hoboken style) neighborhood bar in this area. I want to love it but the drink prices are a bit high and the «bar menu» is a joke. I’ll keep coming back though as there is nothing like it in the area (other than Park Ave Bar and Grill).

This place surprised me.
I came here a while back when my cousin first moved to Gutenberg and it seemed like typical local pub that might give you a buyback if you buy enough rounds. Last night I went and all of sudden they set up for an open mic, more geared towards musicians, which turned out to be awesome! Who knew… The only downside is the bartender was constantly outside with customers smoking a cig, not the most attentive service but it’s the trade off with such a chill bar.

Decent place! Everything you want in a dive bar. cheap drinks, pool, friendly staff. I can’t complain. Great place to grab drinks and catch up with old friends.

Always a consistent time, even if not a blast. Avoid karaōke night though… Unless you’re really into it.
Otherwise decently priced beers, good selection of drafts, and a quiet atmosphere makes for a quietly relaxing evening.

I love this place. Local solid bar. My bf and I do our usually Thai dining at Lotus which is BYOB! And we carry the party over to the wild rover pub which is a block over! Cozy hidden bar, Sean is the best. Always a good time. Love it!

A good local bar with a very friendly staff, The drinks here are very well made. They serve appetizers that are okay. I usually am a Hoboken, NYC bar guy but, I must say this is a good local joint with a good decent crowd. If your looking for ambience and flash this is not the place for you but in my opinion the regulars here wouldn’t have it any other way. I will visit the establishment again. CHEERS!

Though I have not been there in a while I absolutely love this place I was a regular there for a while and I miss this bar. this place is your Cheers very friendly really cool dive appeal. Open Mic nights are kick a$$ especially when I played JK its all around a great joint

I’m not sure how I ended up here but it was a pleasant surprise.
My boyfriend recently moved to the area so we went out couple weeks ago to explore the neighborhood and look for a place to have a drink.
THe bartender was friendly and the drinks were big! What else do we need? We had couple of drinks and a very tasty chicken tenders!
Not the best place in the world, a little too dark. But I will give 4 stars for the bartender’s hospitality + good drinks w/​great price.

Family owned pub for the locals, family is from Ireland but been living in the states for decades now. Sean is very pleasant, great attitutude all around, fair prices and close to home for me. They also have a package to show EPL games.

I read other reviews and all the positive reviews were just RIGHT.
This bar has one of the most welcoming atosphere I have ever encounter… for a bar. Literally right when you walk its super relaxing, even if they are playing AC/​DC in the background.
Drinks are pretty fairly price… but Damn I got the strongest Long Island I have ever had. Still good but strong like a bull.

Great little local bar, friendly staff, and decent bar food. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and watch some sports with your buddies this is the place to go.
Thursday evenings are usually packed with people ready to slur the words to their favorite jams, yes you guessed it, Thursday is karaōke night! Try the buffalo wings and wash it down with some Yuengling or Magic Hat.
