We love this place. Food is amazing, service is top of the line and then there is Odalys. The most attentive, nicest person one could ask for. I come here frequently and will continue as long as this continues…

I had a quick coffee and a dessert at this bakery located right under the Rumba Cubana on Blvd E? ast in Guttenburg. The coffee was steaming hot and delicious. The treat(don’t remember the name — it was like Belgian something) was pretty good. One was stuffed with guava, the other with Bavarian Cream. How can one go wrong with either? I did notice that they had a decent selection of frozen yogurt and offered wifi! I would def. come back to sit and have coffee/ice cream and use their wifi if I was still living in the area.

This place is da BOMB!!! I think they must have really stepped it up… I am sitting here and on Friday at noon and there are 3 people working behind the counter alone… don’t know who is in the kitchen! I come in for the wonderful espresso…2 shots with water and milk for $ 1.44 incl. tax!!! and served by a pretty, nice woman! This morning I tried the quiche(kiche) for $ 3.50. I am a quiche aficionado, so I know what I am talking about… This was possibly the best quiche I have ever had: spinach, ripe olives and tomatoes. The crust was delicious, the flavors were spot on! Absolutely delicious! They have very reasonably priced breakfasts… in fact, everything seems to be reasonably priced… lower than anywhere I’ve seen. They are also very obliging to special requests… I love it here! They also have free wifi and let you sit and drink their delicious coffee and work on your computer. *Frozen yorgurt machines are not running yet… soon, I hope!

Don’t order cakes from here. Here is why: Tuesday @ 10am: I order a decorated birthday cake for pickup on Saturday @ 3pm Friday @ 3pm: I call to make sure everything’s ok Saturday @ 4pm: An hour after the pickup time, I wait in the store for 25 minutes before they finally tell me that I need to come back later. «We’ll call you when it’s ready.» Luckily I budgeted some extra time before the party at 7:30. — No phone call — Saturday @ 7pm: 3 hours later I return to pick up the cake on way to the birthday party. I watch them pull a random demo cake from the display case in the front and head back into the kitchen. 5 minutes later, they come back and tell me «we have a situation… we don’t have your cake… you can take this plain white cake. and we have no decorations.» Seeing as how I already paid, my options are: — Ask for money back and show up to the party without a cake — Take what they give me I saw this same plain demo cake sitting in the display case @ 4pm. They could have just told me the situation then or called me to say that they would be unable to make the cake. I could have made alternate arrangements or at least bought some decorations myself. The cake they gave me wasn’t in very good shape. It had stains on the top. Who knows how fresh it was. They gave me free pastries in apology, one of which was noticeably spoiled… like rotten milk spoiled. I talked to my wife about it later. She told me that a few months prior she had a similar experience with an unfilled order. I used to really like this bakery, but man have they fallen off HARD recently.

The food is super fresh. I recommend them highly. Its a well thought out plan to have both a bakery/yogurt/coffee shop all in one with wi-fi.

Some of the slowest service I’ve had in my life. 15 minutes to make a lemonade. My sandwich and fries were cold and dead by the time I got to my table, 30 minutes later. + inexpensive ready made pastries and desserts + self serve yogurt The rest, realize you’re going to wait. And wait. And wait. mostly cheap, but not memorable pressed-toasted sandwiches. i guess they’re called cuban sandwiches, but the bread was not so good. watch out for minimum total for credit card.

Wow. That’s all I can say, wow. This place is Run by turtles. Slowest, laziest service ever. I was in line for an hour because Jane doe and her hideous daughter were talking up a storm forget trying to keep business going just sit there and talk to this frog of a cashier. Yes she looked like a frog, proceeded to ignore me and go to the next customer because he’s a «regular» I don’t care if the pope is in town, its first come first serve. Then this frog proceeds to stare at me and bite her lip. Disgusting. I go home and decide to take my mom out for frozen yogurt. It was 830 and the café was closed. What. On the door it says it closes at 9:00 why in the world would you close early on a warm spring evening? This place is stupid and someone needs to send that frog back to the pond. SHAME.

Its been a long time since I’ve had the pleasure of eating a delicious Guayaba y Queso pastelito. The old school Bergenline bakeries have fallen off their baking game, so its really nice to have a bakery that offers a wide variety of awesome pastries, delicious breakfast options and a sweet view!

Love this place, from their fluffy eggs, to deliciously soft pastries, flavorful empanadas, to their morning staring café con leche. I’m very happy this place opened up in the neighborhood.

Multigrain croissants — great. Fresh orange and carrot juice — yes! The egg and tomato sandwich on cuban bread, love it. The tortilla espanola can be hit or miss, I get it when I’m really craving and don’t feel like making it myself. And the frozen yogurt kind of sucks. For baked goods, fresh juices and nice espresso, this is a nice spot.

I wasn’t a fan of the service and the coffee options are VERY limited. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the overall. I waited a while. Oh yeah they only speak Spanish too :/NOT my weekend for getting some tasty food.

Much awaited bakery on Boulevard East. There are tons of Cuban/Argentinian bakeries in this part of town but not one .I repeat not a single bakery on Boulevard East. Thankfully the owners of Rumba Cubana changed that and they opened one right across from where I live. I stopped by one morning to get some coffee or to be honest to check out the place and check in :-) I not only got the Coffee but also some Alfajores which are these bite sized pillowy sandwich cookies with dulce the leche at 60 cents a piece. Not very sweet and light and very flavorful. These will be a must every time I visit this bakery. I also got a cheese empanda which was delish as well. The bakery is very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have frozen yoghurt and fresh squeezed orange juice. I am so happy to have this little gem of a bakery in my neighborhood and yayyy to another 10 lbs that I see myself gaining over the next few months

It was hard to tell this place was even open. There wasn’t any light up sign or any«hey we’re open» sign at all. We went in and the place is nice and very clean. They have quite a selection of good looking tasty pastries and cakes. Their selection of frozen yogurt isn’t that big, I’d say they have around 6 or 8 flavors like Mango and Chocolate. They have a decent amount of toppings and like most frozen yogurt places you pay by weight. Luckily unlike most frozen yogurt places we’ve been to this place was pretty cheap. Between the two of us we paid a little under $ 7.50 combined which is around what we would pay for each one of us elsewhere.
