There’s nothing great about this place. the food is average and so is the service. It’s reasonable priced and parking is never a problem. It’s a little disorganised and you may have to wait. I’ve been there a couple of times for a late breakfast over the weekend. However, if you’re that side of town, you can drop in for a bite.

This place is excellent. Friendly service, lovely ambience and delicious food. Ate there two days in a row and exceptional quality and taste both days. The menu is huge! Something for everyone– even gluten free options. Plus the design and decoration is so cute! Comfortable booths and wifi!

Nothing to brag about. Wasn’t amazing, wasn’t terrible. A little bit on the pricey side. Tip– don’t get the gravy and biscuits if you are looking for a home cooked tasting gravy. Definitely not it… Left me wondering what the heck I was eating.

It was alright. Nothing extraordinary but I left content and not regretting why I paid too much for an overpriced plate of breakfast dish. The stuffed french toast was good, not great, but not bad. The portion is just right and the cream cheese stuffing is enough to give the french toast a boost. My bf got the Skirt Steak Skillet, which was also on the special menu of the day, and it was satisfying. The ratio of the skirt steak to vegetables and cheese was perfect. Our server Miguel was on point. Amazing service. I will go back to have a reasonable and quieter place for a weekend breakfast when I’m around the area.

Good food for a good price. I had two eggs, hashbrowns, bone in ham, and toast for $ 7.50. Based on previous Unilocal reviews, I asked for the hasbrowns to be extra crispy and they came through but internally they were too wet… maybe they used fresh grated potatoes or added too much water? Service was solid. Wait time for two on a mid-morning weekend was about 5 minutes. Décor is a little outdated… it could use a refresh.

Solid breakfast place. Had the meat lovers skillet and it was good. It’s local to me and a good option. Prices are reasonable.

We had brunch Saturday around 1.30pm. We were expecting a super busy place but it was actually super fast to get a table. My food was good, the tast is conpare to an average pancake house. I’m not saying is bad but it’s not the most amazing thing i have ever had for brunch. Service is good and food too.

My wife and I went here on a Sunday morning. It was very busy which is normal during the time of day. Our wait time was 20 minutes which isn’t too bad. We were greeted with a smile when they called our name. I ordered the Sante Fe skillet which was excellent. My side of pancakes were spot on as well. They were semi sweet and not stale like some diner pancakes can be. All and all this is just a diner off a major highway but it’s a good one at that.

Was in town for my nephew’s graduation from Great Lakes RTC and went here with the family on our last day there before he left for Florida for breakfast. It was truly a treat. Real family style restaurant with great service and amazing food. I really wish I could find a breakfast/brunch restaurant of that caliber in MD. It was a great meal to a wonderful celebration weekend. Don’t hesitate to go here if you are in the area — you will NOT be disappointed.

Always fresh flavorful tasty breakfast food here! I didn’t wait long or no wait every time I ate here. Great prices and portions of food! The German pancake tastes just like the Dutch Baby at walker brothers. The apple pancake is the best too! Just order those as soon as you sit down since they make them fresh it will take longer than 20 minutes. The friendly service is fantastic! No complaints here! I always bring my family and friends here that never tried this great place! I like this place better than Wildberry! I usually wait longer at Wildberry. Wildberry doesn’t have the apple and German pancake. This place has a good lunch menu. My favorite is their breakfast menu. Lots of different choices for breakfast from skillets, omelet, crepes, pancakes, waffles, soups to eggs Benedict. Every time I ate here the food is fresh and tasty. The tasty ham is amazing here! I would recommend you try all of there breakfast choices. I would come here everyday if they were open after 3pm.

Great service, and great food. I came here while we were waiting to see Santa with my daughter. It was busy but not too busy. We walked right in and got seated right away. Server was great and everyone here had smiles on there face even though they were working on Christmas eve. Would definitely come back here. It was perfect.

*You can’t make reservations here. Pretty typical for a brunch place, but annoying My group of 8 went last Sunday morning for brunch, at about 9:30am. We had a 15 minute wait, which is pretty good honestly for such a big group. The waitstaff did seem very busy, and forgot many of our things– waters for 8 people, silverware for 8, requested syrup. The wait for food was long, about 45 minutes. Primarily though, ******the food just wasn’t very good******. I got strawberry crepes, but they were weak, bland tasting not very sweet. The skillet my husband got was a little undercooked. Not a danger to eat, but not very good. I probably won’t be back.

You could never go wrong with The Point. This is my number one breakfast place in the area — I’ve been going here for years and they’ve never let me down. The hostesses are always just okay, but the waitresses and busboys are awesome! They need hostesses that are like their waitresses. I always come here for brunch. Weekend brunches are pretty busy so there’s a little bit of a wait. It’s located on the corner of 41, so it’s like a hidden gem — people pass by it all the time not realizing it’s there. It’s like a house with plenty of parking. Homey feel right when you walk in with their carpeted floors and their decorative porcelain chickens. There are plenty of booths and some tables. When it’s crowded, it looks congested. Hostess always greets us right away and seats us — always asking if we prefer a booth or a table. Our waitresses are always awesome. They communicate everything and make sure we have everything we need always. Cups of coffee are constantly being refilled. They know their food as well so don’t be afraid to ask questions. The red velvet french toast is amazing! I always recommend that. Red velvet french toast stuffed with cream and topped with whipped cream and strawberries. It’s delicious! Crepes are also good here, although a little thicker than usual. The Nutella crêpe comes with fresh strawberries and bananas! I always get eggs benedicts. I’ve had the irish benny — which is awesome. The Irish benny is corned beef hash topped with a poached egg. You can never go wrong with a classic benedict with added spinach. I was also vegetarian for a time, where the Florentine benedict worked in my favor(no meat). The eggs benedicts are always on point. The egg is always perfectly poached and the spinach is always fresh and full of flavor. The classic comes with a nice portion of Canadian bacon. The sizes of the plates are always big. If you’re not too into eggs benedicts, the omelettes are also known to be very filling. You can either get a side of fresh fruit or a side of hash browns with your entrée. Clam chowder here is also full bodied cooked to perfect chowder consistency, and it contains good sized strips of clam. Very affordable and very filling. This place is the bomb! Whenever I’m craving breakfast food done right, this is the spot.

This is our standard weekend breakfast place of late after giving up on the bougie brunch spot in Libertyville that boasts ridiculous wait times. The Point is near our house, rarely has a wait of more than a few minutes, and is a lovely local business. We’ve had all positive experiences here over the past seven months we’ve been coming and make a point to bring our overnight guests here. I regularly get the Popeye Scrambler — spinach, bacon, eggs, cheese. The pancakes are wonderful. On the occasions I’ve branched out and had an omelette or something else, it’s all been very good.

This is a good sized place for a crowd. We were a party of 9 and got seated in 30 minutes on a Sunday at 11 am. There were 3 kids and they each got pancakes. One kid got red velvet pancakes and could not eat the cream cheese concoction on top of the pancakes. It tasted sour. I got the Mexican Egg wrap and it was not right tasting. It was bland and the hash browns on the side were soggy. One of the pancake orders looked like someone had taken a bite out of it. Our server was very nice and accomodating. It’s the bland food that has me saying NO to a return visit.

The Point Description: Corner of 21 and 41. A green and off white vintage looking sign and a building from, the outside that looks some what questionable. Slightly older looking and standing alone. The inside of the building is much more spacious, warm and clean then what may be expected. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. The Menu: Looking over the menu is average prices and has expected foods from a pancake house. Like every other breakfast diner, they have 1.50+ add-ons and your limited to your free substitutions. Atmosphere: This morning at 8 am the staff is quieter then most but none the less, respectful. My waitress helped me plan my cheap meal by offering her suggestions on how I can have what I want and not rack up the 1.50 fees. She was professional; a older gal who clearly has experience. She checked on my table a few times and didn’t say anything about my coffee that I snuck in through my purse= Grace and Mercy. Free WiFi available! Food: My food was the definition of Alright. The plate was delivered to the table with in 5 mins of ordering. It looked great and tasted Alright. The biscuit was dry. The gravy was salty. The bacon under cooked. The eggs reminded me of a hotels full continental breakfast. A simple and cheap breakfast= A simple and equal breakfast. My Opinions: To be fair I believe they have more exciting things to order that would probably satisfy the taste buds more then what I ordered. The coffee lover in me noticed the pots of coffee were a pale lighter brown… Usually a indication of weak coffee. In conclusion: I give my waitress a 5 for being a wise and sweet lady. I give the building a 4 for over all cleanliness. I give the prices, menu and food a 3 for MY Visit today. But I will be back eventually to try something better. 8.70 $ was my bill today Give them a go.

This place is packed on a Sunday morning. Waiting times have never been longer than 15 – 20 minutes, because the tables turn quickly. Orders are always out amazingly fast. The omelets are tasty and have a rich buttery finish. My favorite is the Tuscan with asparagus, cubed prosciutto and swiss, or the greek with gyros, onions and feta served with a tzatziki sauce. Their potato pancakes are delicious as well. Your bread side can be anything from toast, bagel to pancakes, or for a little more specialty pancakes. I tried the pumpkin pancakes with some whipped cream and they were delicious just like that. The maple syrup added too much sweetness and masked the pumpkin flavor. Service is fast and very friendly. Multiple times our server, expediters and managers stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything else or coffee refills. This family run restaurant is a great Sunday morning start.
