I went in there today and the blonde girl with a ponytail bun has not good customer service and the sandwich was not good. It was $ 7 and it was nothing special. I could’ve made it cheaper at home but the sandwich was just nothing special at all. I dont understand this sandwich place at all.

Stopped in for a lunch sandwich today. Excellent service, clean store, well-​stocked merchandise and tasty food. I will definitely return. Liked the personal touches like the Mango Black Tea and Prairie Breeze cheese in the deli case. Thank you! ;-)

I stopped in for a sandwich this afternoon. Over the years I’ve stopped in many times around the holidays for a ham or turkey. Today was the first time I bought a sandwich… but it won’t be the last.
This place just jumped onto my list for top lunch options! I had the ham classic for $ 6.49. It came with a pickle slice. The sandwich was big and tasty. They have a couple of tables you can eat at, but I ordered it to go.
Next time I think I’ll try the «choose two» option: (½ sandwich or ½ salad with a cup of soup).
My one complaint:
They offer lots of frozen entrees and sides that look good, but nothing I picked up had a price marked on it. A minor annoyance, but how hard is it to stick a price on something.
Lake County is riddled with unhealthy lunch options. This place is a refreshing and healthy alternative.

Already wrote a tip about the ham sammie… while I will say it was tasty, it was $ 7 for ham on bread with no veggie options, chips or drink. Too steep…
Was here to pic up a turkey (had a coupon from Illinois Masonic-​sister in law is a nurse, a profession that respects and rewards it’s employees… sorry to throw in a teacher rant…)
What you should know-​the turkey is cooked! No raw turkeys here!
Had it on Thanksgiving, very tasty, go for the Cajun.
P.s– no pre ordering…

Need a ham? Check. Need a turkey breast? Check. Sides for a party? Check. I’ve lived across the street from this place for ten years and didn’t realize this is also a very delicious café, maybe the best in Gurnee.
The sandwiches are AWESOME! The eggy challah rolls they serve with their standard sandwiches is chewy and good. Oh, and the turkey or ham? The best! I love the smoked turkey and the ham sandwiches. For a few bucks more, they’ll add a side, like one of their delicious pasta salads, a pickle and a drink. Prices are not low, but we’re on par with a premium deli here.
You can eat in with a deli style atmosphere as well. I just keep wondering, why didn’t I find this place earlier? It’s best in class.

We ran into this café for a quick sandwich. The service was great and the store was clean and bright. The sandwich was on a warm fresh roll and it tasted great, and reminded me of my mom’s hot sandwiches. I’m going back again soon!

Ordered ham on Christmas eve and got what I wanted. Staff were friendly, service was efficient. Great ham, my family enjoyed the ham for Christmas eve dinner and leftovers were still good for sandwiches days after!

The sandwiches here are wonderful! The place never seems to be busy, maybe I just visit during off-​peak times. This is a nice alternative to Panera, espcially since Panera is always so crowded. Sure Honey Baked Ham doesn’t have bakery items or as big a menu as Panera, but the sandwiches are wonderful. I especially love the southwest turkey (not sure of the name), but it is served warm with chipotle mayo and mild banana peppers.
