I absolutely love this practice. I have been going here for 10 years. I’ve been well taken care of each time. 10 – 15 minutes in the waiting room is expected, however, it is no different than waiting at the doctors office. I know Doctor Alongi will make sure all my questions are answered. He never rushes his patients through an appointment. He answers all my questions. His staff are very helpful and I’ve always been happy with them. Thank you very much Gurnee Eye Care!

Dr. Alongi is amazing. He is very professional, honest, and caring. He’s extremely good at what he does. His staff however are the complete opposite. I wish I could give this place a better review because Dr. Alongi really is the best. But too many experiences with bad customer service and being sold a pair of broken frames were the last straw for me. I will not be returning to this practice.

I have been to several optometrists and Dr. Alongi and his staff with out a doubt offer the highest caliber of care. The new location is really clean, which I appreciate for any medical practice. It seems like the staff really enjoy being there and they made me feel comfortable. Dr. Alongi has always taken the time to answer all of my questions and he is very funny. I am shocked reading the comment below because this is the shortest I have ever waited at any doctors office and the most face to face time I have spent with a doctor. I felt compelled to write a comment because these guys really do deserve all fives.

I’ve been to this business a couple of times and each time is a hastle. The receptionists are not very friendly, I usually have to wait 20 minutes(even if I’m early) and they don’t have a great selection of frames. I live in Gurnee so I thought it would be convenient to go here but I just tried making another appointment and left two voicemails and got no call back. Finally I got the receptionist on the phone and I had to hold for 10 minutes and then she was rude to me because I didn’t want to hold any longer! I’m taking my business elsewhere… even if it means I have to drive further.
