This review is only for the deli. The menu claims that the sandwiches are made in a homemade roll and come with a salad and pickle. The salad was fine. I can’t imagine the bread was homemade, it tasted and felt like Wonder Bread. It was floppy and tasteless. The fillings for the sandwich, a TexMex Turkey, and a build your own chicken sandwich, were alright. We finished both our sandwiches with forks because the bread was not holding up. As for the pickle, no explanation was given as to why it was served without a pickle, and when I asked, I was given three pickle slices, from a jar. That’s just not what you expect when the menu says a pickle comes with the sandwich. The service was rude and unfriendly. Making a build your own sandwich was a burden for then, and when unasked for my pickle, I got an eye roll and no explanation. False advertising and bad service. For 7.50 and 10.50 for a sandwich, I’d at least expect my pickle, and a bread that can hold up to the fillings.

My favorite place to shop and grab something healthy and delicious to eat! Wow! Gunnison is so very fortunate to have this hidden treasure. This is a vitamin and grocery store with a deli. So you can order a really good sandwich, salad or soup; and while you’re waiting you can peruse the aisles. Between the fantastic selection of organic, healthy and delicious products and knowledgeable and courteous staff it’s hard not to come here everyday!

This place is perfect ! Couldn’t ask for better. The food in the deli is amazing. I ordered the sweet potato and spinach salad and added chicken. Wow ! Clean eating at its finest definitely check this place out! The market has great selections and the service is wonderful.

Excellent choices for eating healthy and local. The staff could be friendlier. I was in there twice while in town for the weekend. The coffee is fabulous! Overall an outstanding choice if you’re looking for clean food!

Recently ate here for the first time, and will absolutely stop in again my next time in Gunnison. The grocery store section has a wide variety of all kinds of groceries (including lots of frozen and packaged vegan foods!), but the café was the highlight for me. LOTS of healthy options, with choices for vegans and omnivores alike. There’s not a lot of seating, but the food is delicious and the servings are generous.

Perfect little place! The café is delicious — the pad Thai was delicious (huge servings) and they have a lot of gluten free/​vegan options.
The store itself has a great selection of natural foods and products!

Food is really good. Seating is a bit tight. Paying is a bit confusing. You get a ticket, wait in line with people buying groceries, pay, then bring ticket back to where you ordered. Or just leave ticket in your table. You are basically eating in a health food store, not a restaurant.
But it is a very good choice for good fresh food. Shop a bit while you wait for food.
