The Guest House at Gulfport Landing

When heading to New Orleans for a family reunion, we decided to return to the Gulf Coast, regardless of the weather. Our prior venues were gone, thanks to Katrina! So when I asked my family for a recommendation, I was given The Guest House. Little did we know that it would be the highlight of our trip. The house is very original and fun… but the real fun is Jason, whom we befriended and enjoyed immensely. His attention to detail and fantastic breakfasts were as important as his tips and referrals. Having lived there all his life, he is friends with everyone. We enjoyed a first floor accommodation since stairs are no longer our friends. Air conditioning meant that we spent some time at the house, and much time with Jason. Details like the hand milled soap, handicap shower, off street parking and great location made our stay easy and convenient, but it was the amazing Jason that will bring us back here. You should give it a try… and make a new friend!
