So much better than Taco Yell. I love their chicken salads, and their tostadas. Lyn and his gang have always had great service. They want life time customers, not one time customers, and their product shows that.

My favorite MEXICANEATERY! It’s not authentic Mexican but I don’t care, it’s far better than Taco Bell! I now see that they have another TS in Biloxi which is more closer to home. When it comes to Soft Tacos, it has t’s own flavor and it never disappoints. It’s the BEST!

Not authentic Mexican food, but it’s cheap and they have a good selection of items. Burritos are around $ 4.50, quesadillas are around $ 4. What I don’t get is why they won’t give you the pico de gallo and jalapeños from the drive thru window, you have to go inside and scoop them into the little containers yourself, which defeats the entire purpose and convenience of a drive-thru?! Also, the containers had no lids(or maybe they were out?). Either way, they lost a star for that inconvenience.

Very good Mexican-American food(Not too spicy, wich is good to me), is a small place, but is has a nice decoration and is also very clean, it has a nice sauce bar, the guys are very friendly.

Omg! So yummy! I ordered the beef enchiladas with flour tortillas! Came with beans and rice. The rice was going to take another 20 min to cook so I got double order of beans. Their hot sauce was really good too!

One of my favorite lunch places. No, it’s not authentic Mexican, it’s more Miss-Mex, but it’s good food, better than typical fast food. Check the locals’ reviews who have eaten here more than twenty times, don’t rely on passers-by from CA who know«authentic» Mexican food, LOL(really, what were you expecting?). The staff are incredibly nice, always helpful, free refills for some of the best sweet tea around. My recommendation from the menu: macho nacho grande, add chicken, then get some of their salsa from the bar and have a great time.

Good food, excellent customer service. Only issue is the prices are kinda high especially the burritos, very small. Whenever I am in Gulfport I definitely go here. Salsa bar is amazing.

Yeah it’s just above Taco Bell in taste. I support local family owned places 100% But, Real Mexican grub like carne asada or carnitas street tacos or tortas Can Not be found at a place like this. Try El Lupillo on Pass rd. to get your true Mex fix. The locals really seem to enjoy Taco Sombrero’s «Mexican» food… Proving ignorance is bliss.

I was looking for a quick stop lunch on my drive from Pensacola to New Orleans and I came across this little gem! Everything was excellent!!! There is an incredible selection, and the staff was very friendly! The owner even gave me a tamale to try for free — which was incredible!!! Would definitely recommend!!! Great for family too!!! I’ll definitely stop here again! Great Job Taco Sombrero!!!

I like this place has some Damn good tacos… I will say this it is a better place than taco bell you order a soft taco at the bell the shell ice cold makes the entire taco cold I have been here after last nite three times now… love that they have a drive thru too… staff are awesome and nice and don’t take this wrong but their chicken soft tacos better than the mexican restaurant we ate at other day that if you check my Unilocal reviews I reviewed and this places food I give a 9 out of 10 was latino owned and this place is white owned… sorry just had to say if you think this place is a bad place go count their money at end of the nite the place is always booming and they are still here because all the authentic mexican restaurants here in Gulfport is a dying breed!!! I am from Alabama and a buddy of mine came over here wanted to have lunch and wanted mexican food we went here he loved it! Oh and BTW me and the wife meeting there for lunch today!!!
