Hickman Catherine A Theater of Gulfport

This is not a review/​rating of the George Bernard Shaw play «Arms and the Man» by the Gulfport Community Players but rather the facility itself.
The theater seats about a 100 very comfortably. The seats are well padded and spacious. The lighting and acoustics are both very passable. The sound system lacks a bit.
Parking is great with plenty of overflow and the location is very easy to get to by foot or car.
The refreshments during intermission could be a little better (like better beer) but the prices are reasonable. The space in the lobby and outside are very pleasant and a nice place to stretch the ol’ getaway sticks.
Overall, it is a nice facility for the smaller community in Gulfport and fits well with the general character of its surroundings.
