(This review is specifically for the alterations department as I have no experience with their dry cleaning department). I chose this place for my wedding dress altering because it’s near my house. I checked out their website and they advertise wedding dress heir-looming well as 30+ years experience in tailoring– so I felt pretty comfortable bringing it here. The bottom needed to be hemmed and the top straps need to be taken in because they were too loose. When I picked up my dress, instead of actually having the straps, she had basically just sewed it down the folded over layers instead of removing the extra material and reattaching the straps. The straps of the dress were pretty thick and wide so it created a huge lump that would obviously not lay down flat as I was wearing it. She then proceeded to make up excuses as to why she rushed through the job. She even said«I hated to do that» and«sometimes because I have to leave at two I have to skimp on some of the jobs to get them done in time». I told her multiple times before leaving the first time that I did not need my dress back for at least another month, so I don’t know why she felt the need to rush through the job. I asked for a refund for at least the straps and she insisted to keep it there to fix it. She did fix it in a matter of hours but the job still does not look great and another worker behind the counter was pretty rude to me when I came back to pick it up. They pride themselves on being a small business, and if they want to stay in business they should work on their customer service. They will definitely not be getting any of my business or anyone else that I know.
