Hampton Inn & Suites

Only 18 months old (so the receptionist told us) this Hampton Inn is in a GREAT location. Excellent costumer service and Robin the manager is the sweetest person you will meet. Everyone working will go out of their way to make your stay more comfortable.

Great Hampton! Clean rooms, good rate under $ 100, nice staff

This Hampton Inn looks like it is new. The location is close to the interstate, but you do not hear the traffic from the room, which is a huge plus. It is also located near many restaurants and shopping centers. It is only a mile or two away from the Gulfport Outlet mall. If you love shopping this is for you. The hotel is also only about a 5 – 10 minute drive from the beach and casino.
The hotel itself has many pluses. The hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful. I used my Hilton Honors Check-​In and was able to get to my room right away. The room itself was magnificent. I got the double queen mini-​suite. It had a sofa-​bed that was really comfortable. There is a desk/​island separating the beds and the sitting area. There is a large TV on a swivel attached to the wall so that it can be viewed from either the sitting area or the beds. There is a nice wet bar area when you walk into the room equipped with a fridge, sink, and a microwave. The room was perfect.
The business center was well equipped and easy accessible. The snack area where you can purchase food/​supplies was well stocked and readily available. The prices are no different from any other hotel. The breakfast area is well stocked and well attended. I was downstairs each morning for 6:15 a.m. and it was already busy with local softball teams playing in tournaments. Nothing rowdy just a lot of people. The area was staffed and ready for everything. There was no shortage of food.
If you need a place in Gulfport this is your best bet. I will definitely return to this location if I am ever in the area.

Stayed here for a quick overnight while traveling through. We arrived late, but staff was friendly. In fact, all the staff is very nice. Hotel is only several months old, so everything is clean and new. Conveniently located off of the interstate with plenty of retail and restaurants nearby, though nothing within walking distance. Comfortable beds and nice décor.

The room:
We stayed in a two queen bedroom. The room was very large and came with the following:
–Microwave
–Refrigerator
–HDTV with good selection of channels including Showtime
–Good size bathroom with shower/​tub combo
–And other hotel basics
Only downside is that the bathroom didn’t have a fan.
The staff:
Very friendly staff. And even though they were short staffed and were suffering minor technical difficulties the service was prompt and exceptional.

Overall:
We had a pleasant stay in this newly built hotel :)
