This is a nice little city beach park in Gulfport with some benches, picnic areas, volleyball courts, trees, and public parking. Across the road there are lots of restaurants and around the corner on Beach Drive there are galleries and even more eateries, dessert spots, a tea places, a French bistro, a shave ice stand, and a Chicago style hotdog vendor. The park isn’t huge, but it’s a nice spot to relax, catch some rays, take in the views along Boca Ciega Bay, toss a frisbee, or play in the sand. St Pete Beach it is not, but it’s not too shabby.
