Everything here is amazing, great service!!! Jeff has sold me 2 bikes and has gone out of his way to accommodate. Joel knows his parts and when it comes to customization he knows his parts Charlie and Tom are on point and keep my babies tuned and running to the T. I take pride in my bikes and they keep my toys running and pristine. Whether is parts, bikes or just talking motoGP, they really take good care of me. I send all my people here and push Yamaha and Honda. I do not handle trust lightly and I trust them with all my bike needs and or questions! Very satisfied customer who never makes appointments! –tell em chase sent you!!!

This review is specifically about the service department. The service manager«Mike» needs to be in another line of work. Horrible, awful customer service. Do not trust this place with your bike. I sent a letter to the general manager today. Here it is: My name is William Cameron, and I purchased a new Yamaha Zuma 125 scooter from Coast Cycle World back in November of 2009. I’ve had my scooter worked on in your service department a few times since then. I can’t recall exactly how many times it’s been, but the last time will be the last time I ever give your company any of my business. Last July I had an accident and had a wrecker company deliver my scooter to your shop to be repaired. I spoke with the service manager«Mike» on the phone, and told him that the insurance adjuster would be coming by his shop to see the damage to my bike. Almost 2 months later I called to see what the holdup was on my bike. «Mike» was going to check on it for me and give me a call right back. I waited an entire week and never heard a word from Mike, or anyone else at Coast Cycle World. When I called back and spoke with«Mike», he said he was«waiting to hear from the insurance company…» Not only had he not started to repair my scooter, he hadn’t even ordered the parts yet. I told Mike that I was the one paying the bill, and that if there were any questions about the work to be done, he should have picked up the phone and called me. After about 10 days or so, Mike called and said the repairs were complete.(Wow… he called!) Two months ago, I got a letter in the mail from Yamaha informing me that there was a recall on my scooter, and that I would need to bring it in to the dealer to have a new fuel pump assembly installed. I called Mike and told him about the letter. He said he would have to order the part, and would give me a call when it came in. Mike still hasn’t called. I called the Cycle Shack in Picayune last week about the recall letter, «Angela» said she could have a pump in about a week. I thanked her and hung up. About 5 minutes later she called back and said she had one in stock, and that I could come in anytime. I told her about my experience with Coast Cycle World and Mike, and she said this: «Mr. Cameron, I can’t speak for Coast Cycle World, but I can tell you how we do things here. As soon as I became aware of the recall, I pulled up the sales records of all our customers who had purchased affected Yamaha scooters. I called each owner and let them know that they would be receiving a letter from Yamaha about the recall, and offered to order the part and schedule an appointment to have the repairs done. That’s the way we do business.» Steve, my scooter now has a new fuel pump assembly installed. I also got my oil changed while I was there, and I’ll be getting new tires from them this Summer. Mike still hasn’t called. Coast Cycle World has a repair shop. Coast Cycle World does not have a Service Department. Update: Update: as of may 7th, 2013 I haven’t received any response from the General Manager, Steve Bullock. A simple phone call, email, letter, or anything would have gone a long way as far as my opinion of Coast Cycle World. I guess they just don’t care. Really sad…
