Great atmosphere. Peel and eat shrimp were huge! The waiter — William was awesome. He did a great job and the food he recommended was perfect portion. Gumbo has great flavor, highly recommend. A definite ‘must do’ restaurant.

Great fish tacos, gumbo and also love the Crazy Sista’s Honey Ale. A must stop anytime we are in the area! Love the live music too!

Had a really good time. Especially appreciate that they are kid friendly. I split the fried seafood basket with my sister and it was more than enough food for us to eat. The onion rings were great. The small salad was OK. The lime balsamic dressing was a little tart, but to be expected. I love that they have large cups to hold and less amounts of iced sweet tea! I also really enjoyed the live music. We will definitely be going back. We were sad to learn that they will be closed from January 1 through all of January but I suppose it really isn’t the season.

Great place to eat. Excellent wait staff that is their to help. Had a table overlooking the canal. The Oysters & shrimp and catch of the day are fresh and very good. They have a menu that has something for everyone. A big plus is their allergy free menu. which they take very serious. The drinks are good and their prices are reasonable. If looking for comfort food a great place to go. Rustic atmosphere and live music make it a good choice in Gulf Shores

3.5 stars. Wound up here because everything else we tried was closed for the holidays. The setting is very nice, we dined on the dock overlooking the water and the food was better than I was expecting, though not great. The burgers were ordered medium and were closer to well done, the fried okra while tasty, was super greasy. I would come back, but it wouldn’t be a priority.

I would give 3 and ½ stars if I could! The atmosphere is great! Friendly people, beautiful scenery, good music. The drinks were good. The food was good– but not great. A little better than Average. We got the quest as an appetizer. We each got a burger for the meal; one with jalepeno hush puppies and one with fried okra. The burgers were poorly seasoned, but the toppings were decent. The hush puppies were good. We also got a Jet Ski drink and a Bloody Mary– yum :)

We loved this place. We watched the orange beach boat parade from here. Then decided to eat. I had mahi tacos which are huge and so delicious. In fact too much for me to eat. Took one home with the homemade chips. My husband had a burger. It was cooked exactly how he wanted it, which it seems that is tough to find here. It was med rare. And huge. We also had a side of fried green tomatoes. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. Yes it is a tourist trap but the food we had was delicious.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon because we heard good things about this place from other people. If you have kids, you should definitely come here. There are 2 ginormous sand play areas with toys. It looks like they have live music because by one of the sand play areas there is a big stage with speakers. There is also a ropes course, a video game arcade, and a gift shop. Since it was cooler outside, we sat in the enclosed patio, where we could watch the boats pull up and dock. I had a burger and fries and the food was okay. Nothing really to rave about. The alcoholic drinks are good, but they are small in size. I was expecting something larger than a small plastic cup. Overall, I would come back for the kids to play and to hang out a bit, but that’s about it.

We had 5 of us, visited in an off season. Server Sean was Great, friendly and attentive. We had special request regarding the dishes and they were followed. Food quality was excellent, I got the burger with pimento cheese and bacon!

One of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. 26.99 for grilled red snapper on a plastic plate with grease fries and 2 dry hush puppies, and a plastic cup of slaw. The fish was dry and most likely frozen. They have this«fish trax» promotion so you can track your catch via QR code. All five of us had the same info and there is no mention as to when the fish was caught. STAYAWAY! Save your money. Massive tourist trap.

Bad… Mediocre… Good… Excellent… We had a party of 5 for dinner last night and this is the 2nd time we have came here and received the same results. This is the summary: Bad: Crab Melt… Over priced and didn’t taste good at all! Very fishy tasting with several shells in it. I also think they left it too long in the warmer, because it was fairly flat, greasy, on a hoagie roll… … and it came with chips in a bag… I was expecting fresh made chips for $ 15.00, not chips in a bag! Bad: Fries… We ordered them crispy. They sat too long somewhere, because they were dark, not crispy and tasted like they were cooked in burnt /old oil. Mediocre: Gouda Grits… I have had much better! Good: Hamburgers & Service… Good, but not great… Excellent: We sat out by the water on a beautiful night and enjoyed the ICW and live music.

Absolutely love this place! The food is great and the atmosphere is incredible! Very popular place for those on vacation so expect to wait at least 20 mins or more but there’s plenty to do. You can play beach volleyball, build a sand castle, visit the gift shop, look at the boats in the harbor, or even visit the arcade next door! The last time we went out server was«Tammy C.» If your lucky you’ll wind up in her section, she was great!

If you are looking for an easy go to option for family dinner this would be a good one. There are some fun things outside to entertain you while you wait. The food is okay I guess, not the tastiest and a bit over priced. I have had the crab claws, crazy sista’s crab toast, nachos with shrimp, the appetizer order of okra, and mahi mahi sandwich. Out of those I would recommend trying the crab toast and mahi mahi sandwich.

My family came to Gulf Shores on a family vacation and were told that LuLu’s was a must see and that we needed to get there very early if we wanted to eat dinner no matter what day of the week it was. We decided to get to LuLu’s around 4:00PM on a Monday afternoon for dinner/drinks. After feeling like salmon swimming upstream while walking thru the swarm of children in the arcade and sandbar area, we found the dining room. At 4:00PM on a monday there was already about a fifteen minute wait to be seated. There was nobody in my group under the age of 25 so the whole arcade/ropes course with a ton of kids running around you is a little overwhelming. I was hoping for a relaxing bar scene on the beach with some good seafood and drinks. Instead we got a stuffy table after a little bit of a wait, the food was mediocre, and all-in-all the whole family was a little disappointed. Unless you have kids I do not recommend coming to this place for dinner or drinks.

LOVEDLULU’s. We went on a Saturday night during high season. We thought we weretold it’s an hour wait, but we misunderstood. It was a 2 hour wait. Our fault, not theirs. Fortunately they have a high ropes course for the kids, that only costs a very fair $ 10/each. And sand volleyball. And a bar. And a gameroom. And ceramic painting for the little kids. And free cold water. And more bars. One we finally got seated, service was good and the food was really good(try the shrimp & cheese grits — excellent). Drinks are strong and good. We had fun, and we will definitely return. But if it’s in high tourist season, we’ll either come dressed to play sand volleyball or come on a Monday or Tuesday night and listen closely to the estimated wait time. Good place.

Great staff, great food — the best tourist trap in Gulf Shores! We always arrive before 4 for dinner and there’s still a short wait. The fried green tomatoes are great as are the crab claw appetizer. You can’t go wrong with the menu: burgers, fish tacos, sandwiches are all great. The staff is fun and helpful, the drinks refreshing. You’re going to wait for a table but between the mist machines to keep you cool, the music & awesome gift shop, there’s plenty to keep you entertained.

Favorite Place for A Crab Melt Sandwich. Hands down the best place for a real crabmeat dish! Mind you it is rich and you might want to share it… but you really don’t. Great place to hang out, listen to live music or watch the boats go by on the Intracoastal Waterway. A definite for my out-of-town guests; especially when I can arrange to come by boat. It definitely caters to tourists but we enjoy it during the off-season.
