Happy Harbor

Stopped in… First time! Friendly, clean and cool temp in a hot afternoon. The beer was kept right in ice. I ordered a pizza. I used to own a bar with homemade pizzas. This was superb. The bartender, Nicole, was effecient and friendly. Would like to give this more than 5 stars. I did not try the patio.

Nice spot just a short hop down County Road 4 then right on County Road 6 and you’re here, or straight around County Road 6 West off 59, right on the Bön Secour river near the intercoastal. Nice size stage, and playing tonight starting at 6:30pm is DAVO.

with new opening there are lots of changes that make it all different from the old days. First of all, no seafood, this is a cool local place with OUTSTANDING PIZZA, now I’ve had Pizza on the streets of NYC, in lots of joints in Chicago and places all over and this is a good Pizza. Fresh delicious crust, fresh toppings and get yours in 10″, 16″ & 20″. Betty Owens and I shared a big ol’ small salad and got a 16″ meatball Pizza and are taking some home.
The menu is Pizza, subs & sandwiches and full bar and yes pitchers of beer. Still good to bring the whole family young to old, there’s a Yung man playing Pool with his little brother with their one Pool table nicely decided from the main room.
Big screen TV for game days (I assume) and the big sign says «try out mango margaritas and sesame caramel cheese cake, hmmmm tempting :-) Okay just had it and iron was 5.00 slice of awesome :-)
So if your looking for a friendly local place to come hang out and get some good food maybe meet a few new friends this is comfy place to do it, the whole experience here is comfy.

They still need to do a little work inside I think, and don’t know if the outside bar area is gonna happen again, and outside eating is up in the air, I think. But a solider 4 star for terrific Pizza, friendly staff, comfy atmosphere, but I think there should be a few seafood additions, it is by the water and across from the biggest shrimp ingredients outfit in the area. I think shrimp po’ boys at least. A few more visits and a few more months maybe a 5 star in the works.
Remember, this is only minutes off of 59, but it is like you have stepped out of all the hustle and bustle of tourists and traffic. It’s laid back, very local and like I keep sayin’, very comfy. This is a good place to relax and enjoy.
They have the best Pizza in the area, period. I really like Hunts Brothers, but this is really special, the Italian meatball and others come in 10», 16″ & 24″. The daily deserts are crazy good. This is a great place and the locals want to keep it a secret. Good thing I’m a part-​time local.

Three stars because when you walk in the place it’s usually filled with locals who stare at you and record stops as the needle scratches… The staff here is NOT the friendliest … My bartender had tattoos of stars running up her neck behind her ear and running up one leg disappearing up her ass where her head was I think… I asked her what was good on menu and she shrugged her shoulders and said «Depends…» Then walked away… When she came back she smugly said «So, have you decided yet?» Fearing that she may never come back I ordered a simple Sub sandwich and it was incredible! Since, I have had the Philly and the Pizza which are also incredible… Great food! But, this bartender with the stick up her wazoo made me drop a star… It really pays just to be nice. I left her $ 4 on a $ 12 tab once and she never refilled my drink… Not once. Do me a favor a come for the food and give the tattooed wench bartender a big

My husband and I went to the crawfish boil Sunday. We had a nice time. I got the shrimp platter which was very good. My husband got the all you can eat crawfish. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Management was super nice and friendly, will be back !

Food was excellent but service was a little slow. Portions were huge so we took alot home for later. Waitress was very nice just really busy.
Live music, was nice in this no frills place.

Ahi Tuna amazing. Shrimp amazing. The music performer let my fiancé play his guitar and it was fun. good drinks and friendly locals.

We stopped in to order a couple of pizzas, on the recommendation of a friend. We didn’t wait too long, but we were the only client there. Hmmm The pizzas were good, lots of cheese. Prices were moderate and you could come by boat or car.

This place was recommended to us by a family friend. At first we thought we stumbled into a different location as it is so far off the beaten path from the condo on the shore where we were staying. The place was practically empty with the exception of a large family that was just finishing their meal. About 20 minutes into our stay they left and our small group, about three people at the bar, and the musician were the only people in the place, aside from the servers and cook staff of course.
The waitress was friendly and attentive — hands down the best service we had in the entire state of Alabama. We ordered appetizers to start — fried green tomatoes and a favorite that the waitress recommended — i wish I could remember what it was because it was delicious! We ordered another and then were promptly stuffed on appetizers by the time our meals arrived. Our waitress did say that everything is cooked to order and asked if it was okay if the appetizers arrived first. It was more than okay, it was preferred. Everything tasted so fresh and was perfectly seasoned.
The owner stopped by our table to see how we were enjoying our food and our dining experience. He was extremely pleasant and full of the Southern Hospitality we’ve come to know and love.
Did I mention the live music? The musician came over to our table and introduced himself and asked what music we preferred. For the rest of our meal he played songs by the artists we’d mention. And he was awesome!
The hardest part was leaving. This is the kind of place I wish I could continue to go back to again and again, if only it was in our own backyard.

How do you spell relax H-​A-​P-​P-​Y H-​A-​R-​B-​O-​R! at $ 6.00 a pitcher of beer, a killer million dollar view and ass kicking music. Can’t complain at all.
Happy Harbor doesn’t have an eclectic menu, but they have good bar food. I like Florabama, but Happy Harbor has a more relaxed atmosphere!
Can’t wait for summer!
