Had a great experience with Kris! Here on vacation & decided to get my long thick hair cut. Kris was fantastic with cut & color suggestions. I went from blonde to redhead & absolutely love it! Kris took the time to make sure I had a look I loved & even wrote down the color formula for me to take back to my hairdresser back home.

Went today after reading reviews, with almost medium length, frizzy, bushy hair that I had been growing for about 9 months to see how it would be. Had been styling with short hair for 20 + years, and since entering my 60’s felt I needed a change to longer (what was I thinking?). Kris took great care of me, asking me what I would like for a style. I showed her a former picture of me and simply said, just no shorter than this, use your ideas. Mind you, I have very thick hair so if it isn’t quite right, I don’t worry as I can crunch and comb differently and usually have no problem. She colored my gray roots and the rest of my hair a gentle golden brown (my hair was bleached from the sun to a golden blonde) which looked fabulous! Then she cut… to a beautiful fun, sassy, cut, giving me a great feeling that I could easily handle my hair and look great! There were many comments as I left the salon as to how super it looked, how much hair there was on the floor and what a great job she did! I agree! Thank you, Kris! Keep up, the great work! Oh, and I forgot to add that they are very customer centered as Kris was running late and they immediately texted me and called me to, et me know to come a bit later! What service! Thank you!

Really nice salon & excellent service. Katie Flanagan does a great job. Katie has offered her professional service to myself & spouse .we love the results & enjoy the setting. She is a true professional & we highly recommend her.

So happy I found this Salon on Unilocal!We are visiting Gulf Shores for the winter — we were in need of hair cuts, color, etc.
I called & inquired about Kris & made an appointment for the next day! Kris is awesome! She takes her time & explains everything & gives her expertise advice & tips! My husband got a cut & Me — well let’s just say I absolutely love what Kris did to my hair; color, hi lights & cut! I feel like a new woman I would recommend Kris ~ check her out! I needed a cut and highlight and (being new to the area) came across Davis White Salon on Unilocal.I am so glad I called because I had a wonderful experience! Kris did an amazing job with my hair and even stayed after hours just to accommodate me. She was so friendly and time just flew by! This is my first time to Davis White Salon and I was able to get an appointment with Kris, who is a new stylist from Atlanta. Overall, the salon is large and beautiful and clean. Kris welcomed me and was very nice and warm right off the bat. I needed highlights and a hair cut and I am very pleased with the results. Everyone here is professional and experienced. I will definitely be coming back and referring my friends!

Called here to make an appt on a Tuesday to get an appt on Wed. I requested an updo for my wedding later that day. I told them I had some clip in extensions I would like the stylist to put in my hair, prior tithe updo. Receptionist that took my call asked what kind of extensions they were (I asked what difference it made) she informed me the stylist only worked with one type of brand extensions. So there was a little back and forth on my part as to why she would not use my clips, considering I was paying her for the updo. So bottom line, they were not accommodating at all and I ended up doing my hair myself, which looked wonderful! :)

Let me start off by stating that «picky» and «high maintenance» don’t even begin to describe how paranoid I am to let people do my hair, and Angela at DW is my #1 go-​to gal! Even when I move out of town, I go home (sometimes driving 6 hours) with a hair appointment with her being one of my top reasons for the trip. :)
Everyone who works at the salon is pleasant. The salon is very nice, with a comfortable waiting area. It’s fashionable and an overall pleasurable experience.

I’m always nervous when I move — I have to find a new hair salon and for those of you that have had a bad hair cut experience you know what I mean. You can’t trust your hair to just anybody.
Luckily, I was referred to Angela at Davis White Salon by a friend (that has good hair) and much to my anticipation she delivered an amazing cut and color. Angela keeps up with the latest trends and methods so you have a stress free salon experience.
They also sell bare minerals makeup (a plus for me) and offer manicures, pedicures and massages by appt. They keep their prices fair and the atmopshere is very relaxing.
