Tried three different restaurants while staying 3 nights at Pensacola beach, and this one was definitely a good choice. Would definitely recommend it for families. Not exactly for the food but for the ambience. They did have some nice, adult, drink specials though with a yummy Margarita option! I’ll start with the ambience: the restaurant was just next to the Margaritaville Hotel(which was a convenient location), no wait at 6pm when we arrived, was completely wide open to the peaceful gulf breeze, lots of high, colorful chairs, a 3 man band playing Bob Marley covers, and the outside area… well, that was the best part. The place was right on the beach, with two sand volleyball nets, about 13 hammocks over the sand(my fave), bean bag toss games, and a huge Jenga game. All this made my daughters want to return here the third night, but we chose another place with a legit playground instead. My almost 7 y/o vocalized missing the Jenga game however. Next, the food didn’t honestly seem fresh but wasn’t terrible. I hastily ordered the fish tacos, but I didn’t read that it came with chips and salsa, otherwise would have asked for a substitution, especially since the chips just seemed like grocery store bought. My husband ordered the crab cake sandwich, which wasn’t bad, but just a bit soggy with mediocre bread. One daughter ordered chicken tenders and fries; once again likely frozen first. Other daughter ordered boiled shrimp appetizer, which unfortunately we weren’t prepared for it to be spicy so upsetting for her. Overall, I would recommend it and would return, just maybe would try something different than what we ordered. Lots of people seemed to be ordering the nachos, and it looked delish. Definitely plan to go when it’s still light out to enjoy the outdoor activities, and plan to relax on the hammocks for me!

This was my 2nd time here. Went last summer with friends and it was okay. I remembered the food and drinks and atmosphere to be better. The other night was my 50th and everywhere was packed on the beach, so we headed here. It was freezing inside and out. They finally put one heat lamp on. The band was awful I mean bad. We had to move outside to get a way from it. Then we were really freezing. They had some fire, but people that were not even drinking or eating were hogging it and saying they were hot while we were freezing our butts off. I will not be back and only live 5 minutes from here. We asked if there was anything special for my birthday and they said no! Rude and not friendly at all. Bushwacker was the worst I have ever have!!! I would give this place no stars!

I visited this nice beach bar/restaurant for a drink before going to a wedding pig roast down the way. It was an ideal spot for my big group since it was spacious and served a variety of drinks to accommodate varying taste buds. They have a few different types of margaritas and draft beers. I’m pretty sure that this place gets super busy during the summer months. It was a tad chilly while I was there but the heat lamps did wonders. I do like when breweries(this one being under Margaritaville Brewing Co.) have flagship type stores like this, marketing its tasty Landshark Lager.

If you’re looking for reasonably priced peel and eat shrimp on Pensacola Beach, head to this place! At $ 7 for a ½ pound, you can’t beat it. Solid seasoning in the boil, perfect chill. Even little wipes for your hands afterwards — ProTip: use the lemon oils to break up the shrimp smell before you use those wipes. Drinks were really well priced too — $ 6.50 for a Loaded LandShark, my drink of choice. You get a big LandShark + a shot of Lime Margaritaville Tequila. You won’t even notice the tequila until you finish up the first can and head into the second. If you come here during the week, it’ll be pretty sparsely attended. Easy to walk in and grab a seat. The waitstaff is fantastic, we loved our waitress! Only con… we were bit by sand fleas after hanging out in the hammocks post-LandShark Landing. Those bites were no joke! Not sure what can be done about that, but would suggest someone spray something to see if they can assuage that problem. Can’t be fun for the kiddos who love to play in the sand around there…

The view and atmosphere is what makes this place very special. And the service is wonderful. Very friendly, and hospitable. The food is very good, but not a very big variety. If you’re wanting a meal for the family, with a wonderful view, that’s not going to break the bank, this place is for you. Our family loved it

This was the first place we stopped into in Pensacola and it started off our vacation great. Jordan our waitress was amazing. She recommend the fish tacos which were fresh & clean. You could taste each ingredient in the taco but the fish shined for two kids who grew up in SoCal and been stuck in Dallas it was a welcome taste. The margarita here are also great. Nice and strong as well as tasty. She also let us know before we left of the thing the Landshark does every night for specials as well as around town. The only thing I didn’t like are the restrooms, a bit stuff although as clean as they could be but just stuffy. Other than that they were great and Jordan was the top.

The atmosphere makes this place. Great indoor-outdoor seating on the beach. Good beachy music and its own beach with hammocks, palm trees, misters, and pavilions. Food is standard: burgers and fish or chicken sandwiches, but great boiled shrimp and yummy fries. The perfect beach experience!

Possibly the worst food I have ever had in Pensacola. Ordered the smoked tuna dip, it was a mound of tuna salad obviously from a can. Partner had chicken sandwich. Tasted like«microwaved subway chicken». Afterwards, realized kitchen is a trailer next to the kitchen. Don’t waste your time or money!

Great last minute choice tonight. Our food was great and our boys had lots of fun things to keep the boys busy! Would recommend to anyone with kids!

This is so personal a review that it’s hard to do this. Under any other guise, this beach bar and associated hotel would be a-okay– probably even upwards to 4 stars. But having grown up listening to and reading Jimmy Buffet, its so weird to have such a corporate feel to something marketed under the Jimmy Buffet brand. I don’t begrudge anyone any opportunity to make money off of their brand; more power to the Buffet empire if he can gain from his hard earned work. But it just felt a bit odd to me… even a little sad to go there. I went looking for a t-shirt or some little kind of trinket, really a token to buy to express my appreciation for all the entertainment I’d enjoyed from Jimmy Buffet(both the music and the books) over the years(especially in my youth), but I left feeling a bit sad and a tiny bit hollow and never even got a t-shirt or anything. Oh well… I suppose that’s just life moving on. The memories of romantic youth getting washed over by the practical realities of aging.

Went here just for drinks on an afternoon walk, and that’s what we got. The drink menu is as large as the food menu. The food is just bar food, nothing too fancy. If you’re going for a nice meal this is not the place. We got loaded chili nachos, for 12 $ I would’ve expected fresh chips and a mound of food. What we got was a small plate of nachos with canned chili on it, and stale chips. The drinks were great and the service was good, along with a great beach view ! It did serve out purpose for the afternoon, so I guess my biggest gripe is paying 12 $ for 5 $ nachos. Otherwise yes we would go drink here again!

Kinda like going to chile’s with a pseudo island flare. I was surprised how lame the food is here. It maybe was designed to appeal to the masses. Sure didn’t appeal to me. If you want decent Caribbean food, go somewhere else.

We found this beach bar this weekend. It is very casual but fun– a place for a live band(none on the night we were there), fire pit, hammocks and indoor/outdoor seating. The food was good. We had the chicken sandwich, the cheeseburger and the pork nachos. All were tasty. Our server was attentive. A nice place to spend an evening. If you stay at the hotel next door, you can charge the meal to your room. Nice bonus.

Pretty typical beach bar/restaurant. Food was ok, server was friendly but more interested in chatting up her friends than providing good(or even adequate) service. And the music… all Jimmy Buffett all the time. Made me want to stick my fork in my ear.

We pulled in about 6:30, decent crowd was there to hear the live band. The second group Woody Bradshaw and his guitarist was outstanding. We had one of the most attentive server’s that we have ever had at a beach bar and we truely didn’t want for anything. The kitchen made an error on my blackened fish sandwich, she immediately came back with a reasonable explanation for the oversight and all was good. If you are there ask for LIndsay she was GREAT! There is a really great outside area on the beach for the kids, so Mom and Dad can have some drinks and listen to live music and the kids can play in the sand, play beach volley ball, hang out at the activity center and eat at their own size tiki tables, which I thought was really great for the little ones. Now the other side of the story — Food was OK, but it is a beach bar and food really shouldb’t be their primary focus, but it should be OK. I have never understood why people want to put pulled pork barbecue on a menu of a location that will be 85 degrees on average in the summer time(I am sure people order it and they probably love it) me on the other hand I want light and refreshing menu items at an outside bar. Will had the Landshark burger and I think he loved it because he inhaled it. I had the Shark Bait sandwich, blackened, I ordered cheese but well that was the oversight. They made it from Mahi Mahi, which is one of my favorite fish, the seasoning wasn’t what I had in mind, but the fish was grilled perfectly. They served it on a plain sesame bun, and sundried tomato tartar sauce(which I didn’t like at all — It tasted like bottled dressing. Terry had the grilled chicken sandwhich and it wasn’t very well seasoned, also served on a sesame seed bun and was sort of plain. I have heard that the wings are good, but we havn’t tried them — limited menu, but like I said it is a beach bar and shouldn’t be the main focus. Only change I would make is using fresh ingredients, make their own sauces and maybe adjust the bread to something other than sesame seed buns for the sandwiches other than the burger. Maybe even offer a fish taco, that would have been awesome with my blackened mahi mahi.

Decent bar food and good drink prices. Nice sand area with hammocks and a playground, which is either a pro or a con depending on whether or not you have kids with you.

The atmosphere here is great. You have the ocean nearby, hammocks for lounging, cornbag toss, firepit, little bar area. Just go for the atmosphere but eat prior or after. The food was awful, greasy, tasteless! It’s typical unhealthy bar food. I had a veggie burger that was probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. The drink Bahama Mama was not so good either. My daughters chicken tenders looked triple fried. I just wasn’t a fan of the food, but would return for the atmosphere.
