KC’s Restaurant & Pub

Awesome find! Great service and great food. We just ordered appetizers but everything was delicious including the sweet potato fries and the nachos.
Our waitress, Alexis, was terrific!

I stumbled on KC’s when I was going to the Bishop’s Farm in Guilford.
Atmosphere: It is a little dark inside but no different than your typical dive bar setting. Overall it was very clean just a little darker than the standard place to drink/​eat.
Beer/​Liquor: They have a decent selection of tap beers to choice from. I didn’t order a mixed drink but it appeared to be a variety of different liquors including some infused brews by the bar.
Food; I order 2 appetizers so I can’t say I had enough to make an accurate assessment. What I did have was very good: Gorgonzola fries and mac-​n-​cheese.

So, 5 stars for a «pub» might make some people roll their eyes, but I rate based on other establishments of like ilk. You cannot truly make a comparison between a sushi restaurant and a steak house, you have to compare to other similar places. As pub/​restaurants go, this place easily gets top marks. If they only had buffalo wings on the menu, I’d still become a regular. I’ve had buffalo wings all over the country and all over the world, including the «top» buffalo wing places in Buffalo, and these are the best I’ve EVER HAD! You have to be able to get the «hot» option and tolerate some heat. These are VERY hot wings, and very big. The heat and flavor are such that you have to keep eating them in order to tolerate the heat/​spice. They are amazing in flavor and worth tolerating the heat! They also have great hamburgers and bison burgers and many other amazing options including some incredible French onion soup! Try this place and you’ll be a regular in no time!
Almost forgot, service is OUTSTANDING! Great staff!

My boyfriend and I went for happy hour and couldn’t be more thrilled about it. They have really nice ipa beers for $ 3 and other great deals! The food was out standing my boyfriend got two wraps because they were so good. They ended up messing up my order but were so apologetic and fix me a new one. I didn’t mind I just had another drink, accidents happen! The bartender was super friendly and patience! Hands down an awesome experience we are definitely coming back !!

First time here, very impressed. Great nachos but beware, there were 3 of us and we barely finished them. Had good meals but the kitchen messed up and put bacon on a vegetarian’s sandwich. The waitress immediately offered a replacement or $$$ off. We took the $$$ as we were stuffed. Otherwise, it’s a dive with good food. We’ll definitely go back!

Great casual fair
I actually rank the wings as some of my favorite as they are big and meaty. This may not be to the liking of those that prefer smaller crispier wings. Matter of preference but, always a go to for me.
Other food is also above average for the style of place.

Don’t ask for extra tarter sauce – they charge. Although I can certainly afford the $.35, I can’t believe they actually charge for it. It had been about a year since we had been to this restaurant, but my wife and I wanted to have some fish and chips and remembered that we did like it at K.C. However, when our dinner arrived, the fish was burned. I didn’t want to return it since that would have made our dinning experience very late. But when the bill arrived and they put an extra $.35 for the extra tarter sauce I ordered, I couldn’t believe it. I have been to many restaurants in the area as well as all over the world including many expensive ones in NYC, it amazed me that I was charged $.35 cents for a tiny cup of tarter sauce. The waitress, who by the way was wonderful, had the $.35 removed from the bill. Like most restaurants the price of my martini and house wine was a little high, but I expect that to happen. Just about all restaurants make most of their profit in the bar. Anyway, it will be a long time before I return to this restaurant and I will now not to order the fish and chips. I am concerned about ordering extra cream if I have coffee!

This place used to be great, but now it is terrible. I went there with my family and ordered a flat iron steak sandwich, each piece of meat tasted completely different and it was WAY overcooked. Another member of my family ordered a cheeseburger, but the buns were disgusting and so was the burger. My baby brother got Mac and Cheese but it was a disgrace it was very yucky. The waiter said they have a new person behind the microwave. My baby brother likes kraft, thats what they were serving, but not when the person behind the microwave dosen’t know how long to leave it in. I could go on and on about this place, but wether your coming with your family or not, don’t waste your money on this crap

I went there this past Sunday for a Reuben with substituted French fries, a beer and a cocktail. The total was $ 32. The Reuben’s bread was toasted and not pan grilled. The pickle spear was sweet and not a sour dill (yuck!) and the fries were far too little for the extra 3 bucks substitution from the original potato chips. The bartenter had to examine the cocktail list to figure out how to make the house special Manhattan. I’m never going back there again.

We love this place. Delicious pub fair, great beer and drink selection, super friendly staff. Whej we feel like having a little fun (and not worrying about calories) KCs provides a super filling meal for a great price. It’s cozy inside, with the eating area separate from the bar. On a cold day I absolutely love their clam chowder!

Place is fine to stop for a beer and that’s pretty much it.
Food is terrible– I actually got a chicken sandwich missing the chicken!!! What can you say about that?

One of their signature dishes, the Fish and Chips, had all the ingredients to be excellent it was just poorly excicuted. Guinness beer batter, yes! It arrived piping hot but the batter was raw inside and the tender fish fillet squished right out. The Jamaican Mahi² was rubbery and the seasoning did not transport me to «de eyelan», I think we ended up in Jersey. The potatoes and asparagus were perfect. It was a busy Friday so food service was understandably slow but the entrées were not worth the wait and were overpriced. I think $ 20.00 for an overcooked fish is out of control. The wait staff were sweet and very friendly, they have great beer and it was a clean and inviting establishment. I would recommend the artichoke and jalapeño dip appetizer. All that being said I will happily return for beer and apps.

This is more than just pub food… The owner and chef continue to innovate comfort food in a cozy atmosphere. While it’s always fun to return to your favorite food, this is a place to explore the menu. Winter time favorite: chowder bread bowl (homemade chowder and damn good!). Anytime favorite: buffalo chicken wrap. Trust me. Paninis, wraps, burgers, all great. The entrees are well prepared and worth a try as well. This has been and will continue to be my «go to» (and the kids love coming here too).

It was my first experience at KC’s and I was wonderful! My server Kelly was attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back again!

I love KC’s pub! Our office orders from here at least once a week, and they know us by name. Friendly staff, especially Kelly P. (who is awesome)! They are quick and the food is always great.

We go to this restaurant every week. For an Irish pub, it does what it is supposed to do and beyond. Good food and an improved menu over the last restaurant. They have the best French soup and they KNOW how to make a bison burger. All the staff has been friendly and very efficient. We never wait! Kelly waits on us most of the time and she does a great job!

Great service by Kelly (very personable and funny, responsive and professional). Food was really good. We had wings (mild, with a side of hot) which were well cooked and crisp. The kids’ hamburgers looked good. Unusual and delish crinkle-​cut sweet potato fries. Good selection of beer. Not too crowded or loud. We will return when we’re nearby.

I was a little worried about going here simply based on the outside of the restaurant as it looked very run down and divey and I was trying to head somewhere a bit nicer to celebrate. However, at the advice of my mother I went in and am glad I did.
The décor and service is nothing special but the food was delicious. I had the mozzarella and tomato panini while my mom had the California panini. Both were delicious and the salad /​chips that came with it were very good as well. I’d recommend this place if you are looking for something low-​key, casual, and with good lunch options.

Ask for the locally brewed Thimble Island Beer on draught!!! An American Ale that’s amazingly delicious…
Good Menu with some pub classics… good place to pop in and grab some good and drink.

I came for lunch on a busy Thursday with my best friend. I’ve never been before, the pub is about halfway between where we both live. I loved it. We both had make your own burgers and cole slaw, which was obviously home made. Even though they were pretty packed with not so much staff, our food came out quickly and sodas were refilled without even asking. The vibe was relaxed and our server, Nolan, so friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
