Gaines Farm & Kennel

Passing thru and stopped to pick up some pure maple syrup, local farm that does it the honor system way, you leave cash and take your syrup. Looks like it just came off the tree.

Every time I pass by Gaines Farm I stop and buy a dozen of their farm fresh egg. This farm located in Guilford VT is a gem hidden on Rt. 5. The property is situated a bit past the Massachusetts border and it is easily spotted by the large red barns.
This farm not only sells fresh items such as eggs, meats, and maple syrup, but they sell other items such as hay bails. This farm houses a dog kennel which accepts dogs of all sizes, and they also raises and sells Golden Retrievers.
The other reason that this farm is so incredible is that during the fall they host multiple events. They have a corn maze and petting zoo for the children during the day, and more mature events during the evening and night. These events include a haunted hayride as well as haunted corn maze.
