Pizza Gram Plus

Tried Pizza Gram Plus for the first time this past Wednesday and it was jam packed at 5:30. I learned that it was parm night, hence the crowds. We ordered an 8 cut pizza with pepperoni and green peppers and it was pretty good. It was definitely a grease bomb, though, so I could only eat a couple of slices. I also think $ 2 per topping is a little steep, especially since the pizza wasn’t chock full of said toppings (and they are some of the most basic toppings there are). The service was pretty fast considering how busy it was. I might try them again on a more laid back evening.

Great local family restaurant. It has an attached sports bar but I’ve never had an issue with that. There are 2 dinning rooms. One has large screens for watching sorts, the other has a cozy, quiet feel with a fireplace.
Wednesday nights are always busy because it’s parm special night. You get a giant chicken, veal or eggplant parm with a large plate of pasta. Any other night you can share this 3 – 4 meal plate, but on Wednesday with the cheaper price they want everyone ordering their own. Wednesday nights always have slower service, but that’s due to the enormous volume of parms they are cranking out.
We choose to skip Wednesday night parms since our family usually goes for the pizza, burgers and wraps. Their pizzas are great. They’re not quite a NYC style, but very typical of upstate. My personal favorite is the deep dish. The service can be hit and miss, but if you get one of their veteran servers, you’ll be very happy.

Tried 30 min to get through on the phone to place an order. Placed an order. Pizza was late. Called & waited 15 more min to get through to check its status. Pizza came. Found a hair in it in the first slice. Spent another 30 min trying to get through to let them know about it. Finally gave up. Good luck with this place!

The chicken picatta is excellent as are the stuffed shells, chicken parm, burgers, and eggplant. I love the one bartender who is getting married soon — I don’t remember her name but she is so pleasant and does a great job. The bar area is an awesome gathering spot, whether waiting for a table or coming to watch a game. It can get very crowded. The only thing I would say is a big room for improvement is when you first walk in — wait staff usually has its back to you as they fold napkins, etc. You are not sure who is the hostess. Waitresses walk by and ignore you. Finally someone appears to greet you. The woman who I assume is an owner/​family member is a pleasant greeter but the young ones are pretty terrible. Since that sets the tone, it matters. Pizza is excellent, too.

This is a medium to large sized bar/​restaurant in the area with many of the expected items on the menu. The pizza is great. I am told the dinner specials make this a really great place to go. I love the chicken parmasean sub. Its huge, with fresh bread made there. I was there at opening on the weekend. Not a large crowd there maybe 5 tables. The server was very attentive. The prices is typical for what you would expect. Its a GREAT place to take kids or even a lacrosse team for pizza after a practice or game.

It’s a lot of food and not overly expensive and the clientele reflect that. Two of us have eaten at the bar several times and had a good experience. The table part of the restaurant however seems to need some process improvement. Consistently understaffed for the busy nights which means the tables don’t turn over, the kitchen gets backed up and the wait can be very long for a table and at the table for your food. Last night we arrived at 5 for a table of 5 and were first on the wait list and were told 20 minutes by the waitress playing hostess. 45 minutes later we were told to wait 20 more minutes because the table she was planning to give us wasn’t leaving. Meanwhile they had reserved tables sitting empty because they were set aside so early. We left without eating but suggest they invest in some training for the hostess on greeting people, seating people and keeping reservations as well add some wait and kitchen staff to keep things moving. The extra money spent on that will come back because they will serve more people. They have many walk outs that they could easily accommodate.

(5) Stars! Have eaten here twice in the last month. Service was Phenomenal. Food was Excellent and the price is Great. Try the Haddock Parmesan for the Tuesday night special.

I wanted to eat here a few times before I wrote a review… Have gotten pizza here 3 times so far and I have to say I’m impressed… First time we bought the shrimp pizza and a sausage and pepperoni… Both great… The shrimp are the little tiny shrimp… In case you hate that… Second order we got a Hawaiian… Awesome!
I highly recommend this place… Will update if I get a bad pizza…

Went valentines day for first time. My expectations were low being an occasion. I was pleasantly surprised the food was very good and so was the service. Although we felt rushed so we asked if they needed our table and they said no. So we told them we are being rushed she apologized, other than that we want to go back again to check continuity. We didnt go to pizza house we went to restaurant attached. I had the chicken michael and scallops wrapped in bacon. My entrée portion big, got two other meals from it.

Ok, let me start by saying that I love the pizza here, and my boyfriend and I have had a couple nice dinners sitting at the bar. HOWEVER. The last two times I’ve tried to call for takeout, I have ended up canceling my order due to the rudeness of the person on the phone and what is either his scamming or their totally insane pricing policies.
For instance, about 5 minutes ago, I got off the phone with him (after canceling my order). I had tried to order a 12-​cut, 1-​topping pizza, an order of wings, and a philly steak wrap. Per their website, this order comes to about $ 29.49. When I asked the guy on the phone for a total, he seemed a little annoyed to have to figure it for me and then quoted me a total of $ 49 and change. FORTY-​NINE DOLLARS +. I said, «whoa… wait a minute… can you run through that pricing for me?» We came to an understanding that the pizza was roughly $ 15, but when I asked him to clarify the prices of the other two items (9.99 and 6.75 per the menu), he sighed and said, «I’ll punch it in again, but our menu prices have changed and it’s gonna come out the same. [pause for calculating] 49 dollars.» (So not only did he not answer my question, but somehow 10 wings and a wrap now cost $ 34.)
This is the second very bad experience I’ve had trying to order takeout. A large part of me would like to drive over there right now to ask for clarification on their pricing, but despite their delicious pizza and very nice bartender, I don’t particularly feel like patronizing them at this point.

Beans and greens are the best! Also really tasty pizza. Great specials. Including steak night, pasta night, and parm night.

My mom and I were out and about she’s had several fantastic lunches at Pizza Gram Plus so I decided to give it a try. The interior was cozy and there were a few other tables. There was only one waitress working however she was very good.
Both my mom and I had the Corned Beef Rubens and split an order of fries. The rubens were delicious and overall it was a good experience. The service was quick and the atmosphere was nice.
It is nice to have a good place to stop for lunch in Guilderland.

Be careful ordering a «large» pizza. We were staying up here for a family function and decided to order pizza. We asked for a large and they asked if we wanted the 12 slice or 24 slice… so we said 24. Little did we know that their 24 slice was actually 2 pies of the 12 slice pie! We ended up with a ton of pizza and a very large bill!!! Not sure why they just don’t say 12 slices is their large pie. End of story! The pizza was ok. Hard to grade since I couldn’t get past the bill and the ton of pizza I had in front of me!!! Not happy!!!

I had only heard about the fact that they had a restaurant as I only usually got take out. Had dinner their tonight with the family. Great food, great ambiance, the waitress was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Just a nice place to have a great dinner in a no pressure atmosphere. Highly recommend.

A friend told me about the Tuesday steak special, and so now I guess I owe him a diner. You have starter of soup or salad, and I opted for the chicken vegetable soup. Large chunks of chicken, and so many different kinds of vegetables I lost count. The 16 oz. sirloin was cooked to perfection. Ordered pasta as the side, and when baked potato and mixed vegetables was served by mistake, it was quickly replaced by chef himself, with profound apologies. Everything was delicious. Did I mention the above cost $ 13.95? Tami, bartender tonight, is totally professional with a delightful personality.
Will be returning soon, as I viewed the menu which has extensive Italian American offerings I am eager to try. All seem reasonably priced. There are also nightly specials, and tonight’s was certainly a winer.
Great to see local restaurant offering excellent food and value. Hope my review doesn’t make the place too crowed for my future enjoyment !!

My family has been Pizza here for 2 years. When we first moved to the area I tried at least 10 pizza places around Albany. This by far was the best quality pizza. The pizza is delicious every time I get it. You know a pizza is quality when it tastes great in the microwave the next day. This restaurant also has other great Italian food and great dinner specials during the week. It’s no secret in town because you can go there on a Wednesday night and it is packed. That doesn’t mean though that you have to wait long. Excellent, fast, friendly service.
Would recommend to all who are looking for quality Italian and awesome pizza.

We love the pizza! We order it quite frequently, and usually grab some wings, too.

I have been here a couple times just to give it a fair shake but I am done. I just spent 80 bucks for my family to eat one of the worst meals I have had in awhile. First the service is not the greatest i had my salad delivered before any of our drinks. I have worked as a waiter in my life and first thing they teach you is drinks in first 5 minutes and never an empty glass. Ok so the food… We had stuffed shells pizza and chicken and eggplant parm and it was «parm» night… Well all I can say is the sauce must of been from a can they use at a prison or school sauce for it absolutely had not a bit of flavor which completely made the meal tasteless. Soda even tasted flat in this place. The pizza and shells and wings all sucked. We moved here from NJ and people up here must have no taste buds for the place was crowded. My wife an I could not believe people ate here!!!
