We had a wonderful dinner at Chef Patrick’s last night! We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday & my mom’s 77th birthday. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! The meats were tender and flavorful! The pea soup was so delicious! The chocolate granache and cream brûlée desserts were a perfect ending! Our waiter Colin was awesome and very attentive. The staff and Chef Patrick sang happy birthday to the birthday girls! It was a fun and memorable night! We would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Celebrated my niece’s high school graduation there last summer with a large family group. With a reservation they were waiting for us with a big table all set up. We had the restaurant literally all to ourselves on a Thursday evening. Service was excellent. The presentation of each dish was lovely to behold. Delicate flavors made for taste treats. Pleasant ambience in the dining room.

Had to throw this up. Disclaimer; has been awhile since partook. Has not been awhile since witnessed Chef Patrick really disgracing and degrading staff on sidewalk. This guy seems mean and vindictive(if this doesn’t bother you please ignore). When eating; steak so tough was like a shoe sole. Food slow to come out. Everything a little mismatched. Sorry, had to wonder if money laundering. Just can’t see my way to appreciating this guy, or his food. If he has cleaned up, like recent reviews indicate, good on him. But hard to forgive someone who for years served substandard food while being so toxic in the community. Oh, and lied about contributing to the local elementary school. Just that kind of guy.

We at at Chef Patrick’s tonight and I was quite disappointed. I had one of their specials which was tortellini with in pesto with shrimp. $ 27. The shrimp was fried and laid top of the tortellini, and didn’t seem to go with the tortellini in pesto sauce. The bread served was cold and the butter was so cold it couldn’t be spread. But, for me that wasn’t the worst part. It was that the meal was served in an ice cold plate so by the time I had a few bites the rest was cold. I don’t even serve hot food in cold plates at home. And the restaurant itself was so cold I needed to get a vest from my car to wear under my coat.

We did our wedding rehearsal dinner at Chef Patrick’s in October 2015. There were about 40 of us at dinner. He offered three entrees of rib eye, chicken with sauce and salmon. Price was very fair. I have eaten here several times before this event and liked it which is why we chose the restaurant. Chef knows how to do a group. Rave reviews from all of our guests. The food… all of it… came out hot and was delicious. Very impressive. Thanks to Chef Patrick’s for a successful event. And my Rib Eye was stellar!

I would like to start off by saying that the waitress who served us was incredible, bubbly, kind, and very attentive. She is what made the flavor experience bearable. We ordered, the tomato-artichoke soup, Caesar salad, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Unfortunately every dish fell flat in flavor, and was extremely bland. The bread brought to the table taste store bought and is cold accompanied by cold butter(no one likes cold butter, why not olive oil instead?) the Caesar salad was overdressed and the croutons were soggy. The tomato-artichoke soup was ok but is was bizarrely sweet like sugar with each bite. My husband kept wondering if there was salt and pepper anywhere but none of the tables were adorned with them. Finally the chicken fettuccine Alfredo again, flat and bland, the chicken was breaded and the only flavor the breaded chicken had was the oil it was prepared in. No salt, no pepper, no herbs, garlic, spices just… frying oil. The Alfredo sauce was the same way, just unsalted butter and cream, no hint of garlic or tang from fresh Parmesan it just fell completely flat. I hate leaving reviews like this but we were utterly dissatisfied with our meal and experience here.

We had a great dinner. The staff(Colin) are great and the chef(Patrick) was a lot of fun. Make sure you skip the bread, the desserts are worth it.

I highly recommend the place. I was very impressed by the food. My husband and I came to this restaurant looking for something affordable — and delicious. We took a chance and were not disappointed. Service was great. Food was excellent. Ambience was romantic. I would return again!

Wow! Went to Chef Patrick’s and had a great meal. Nice ambiance with restful and easy noise level. We were a party of four and visited easily. Friend had the asparagus soup and shared a taste. It was was excellent. Salad was nicely prepared. We split it and it would have been nice to serve it split but they did bring an extra plate. 2 in our party had the Seafood Bisque Special and loved it. My filet mignon was served with a delicious reduction sauce and was cooked to perfection. We split the dark chocolate brownie desert as it was the last one left. Again sauce was a delicious raspberry and complemented the chocolate. We will be back and have already recommended it to others!

On our tour through the Napa Valley, we ended up eating here in this kitchen that boast«French-Californian kitchen» Now, what the hell is «French-Californian kitchen»?? No fucking clue — anyways, that place was a bit strange. Nothing seemed to really fit together. The lighting was off, the decoration was a mix of Indian style and wanna be hoity toity but overall it was okay. It was a diner before that we were told. So we order some small starters, Ceaser’s salad, some mozzarella and tomatoes as well as some shrimp with dip. All this was quite nice I thought except for the shrimp which I did not try but was told by the others. As main dish I had some fettuccine with a creamy sauce and Parmesan. This was quite alright. I had a great Red Tale beer and the others shared a bottle of wine. We payed like 190 bucks with tip which I find a bit ridiculous because the place was not that special and the food good but not worth more than 60 $ per person. I don’t really know if I should recommend it — I think it is just too expensive!

Excellent food. Outstanding. I had salmon with a sauce that was out of this world and cooked perfectly. Greg had Beef burgundy that was amazingly delicious. It was very tender with a sauce that was excellent. Our salads were fresh with tomatoes that were like candy. In fact all the veggies were very fresh and flavorful. Our female waiter was beyond kind and helpful. We were looking for a place to go the next day and she came back with a handwritten list of special spots. We will be back …

The two stars are really for the customer orientation of the woman who served us and the chef working lunch. The food was forgettable. We stopped by for a Friday lunch. We were the only people eating at the restaurant and should’ve taken that as a clue. We ordered the lobster roll and artichoke/crab/cheese dish. The lobster roll was OK, but some of the meat was tough and some had that chalky, old lobster texture. The pineapple seemed right out of the can and didn’t really compliment the dish. The artichoke/crab/cheese dish was bland and all the cheese had melted through and was runny liquid on the bottom of the dish. We see this look when we microwave leftover fettuccine Alfredo. After a couple of bites, my wife opted not to eat it. When the server noticed this, she kindly asked if my wife would want anything else off the menu and my wife declined. She then offered to take that meal off the bill. Moments later, the chef came out and said he really wanted to know why we didn’t like the dish. He said he’d been getting both good and bad reactions and he just wanted to know. He then offered to whip up a shrimp and pasta dish. See what I mean about customer service? The shrimp had light crust with turmeric and the pasta was done as a primavera. The shrimp had a strong iodine flavor and was overcooked. The pasta was overcooked and not al dente. We got the sense that they aren’t working with the freshest ingredients and are using a microwave as part of their prep.

Ugh, where do I begin? This was absolutely the worst meal and service in recent memory! We ordered an appetizer, soup, salad, and an entrée, along with a bottle of wine. The waitress seemed obsessed with an iPad ordering system, lazy, indifferent, and careless. She brought our appetizer and soups out at the same time and we had to ask her to bring our wine afterwards. Hello? Is this the Wine Country? She couldn’t get the wine opened and nearly knocked our table over in the process. The appetizer, tomatoes with mozzarella and balsamic vinegar, was the best part of our meal. Three simple ingredients. When we complimented the dish, our charming waitress said«Yeah, I like that stuff okay.» What??? Are we at a nice restaurant or a backwoods diner? The soup, a chilled tomato strawberry monstrosity, was disgusting. When my Field Greens Salad arrived, it included canned Mandarin Oranges, schleppy greens, carrots from a bag, and past their prime tomatoes. My husbands Braised Beef was inedible. Dried chewy beef chunks in a sauce of overlooked vegetables with no seasoning! And to top it off, awful mini carrots from Costco? Seriously guys? I feel so bad for you… Your restaurant is located in a community known for fine dining, and your prices reflect that. Your food was so bad I wouldn’t even feed my leftovers to our dogs! Bleah! Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this place, it is substandard in every respect! Worst $ 100 we ever spent!

This place has it all: warm and friendly servers, lovely and inviting décor, and delicious food. There was a long list of specials and each sounded more tempting than then last. I had the halibut in beurre blanc, and everything about it was perfect. Many chefs think that veggies need to be practically raw, but these(green beans and carrots) were done just right. A small thing, of course, but little things make all the difference. We shared a dessert, a brownie with housemade vanilla ice cream. It had both raspberry sauce and a touch of caramel sauce. I thought that two sauces was a bit of overkill. It was a generous portion, perfect for two people to share. Next time I’m in Guerneville, I’ll definitely go back to Chef Patrick’s.

My husband and took a drive out to the river for dinner. We happened to come across Chef Patrick and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with the filet special with a wonderful sauce, mashed potatoes and veges cooked to perfection. What a find. only drawback, is the price. Worth every cent, we will return.

Absolute great French-cuisine without breaking the bank. Small, chic, elegant and clean inside. Must try the chefs special Lobster Bisque, best I have ever had! Awesome wine menu as well. Service is a tad slow & servers seem to forget what they are serving you after you order. Disappointed on the dessert menu, wish there was more they could offer in that category.

Excellent food and service. I got the tomato mozzerella salad, nice size, could’ve split it with my bf but he’s lactose intolerant. He got the scampi and really liked it, except for the shrimp tail(it looked like more scallops than shrimp) that still had some of the shell and the whole tail on it. But he still thought it was really good. I got the NY strip steak done just medium rare, perfectly cooked, great flavor. Came fast but not too fast. Our waitress was super nice. I told her we came from philly and she took the time to write out a bunch of places she recommended we check out while in town. That’s great service, folks. :) In sum, bangin food, great service. Fell short a star just cuz of the poorly peeled shrimp, it was kinda cold in the restaurant, and the music was oddly intense and dramatic at times. We’ll come back again. :)

For my bachelorette party my sister made reservations at this resturant to have a nice evening little did we know that we were about to be attacked! There were 10 Of us women that were seated next to the 2 table tops which maybe the restaurant should have planned better. We were enjoying our meal when the guy next to us came over and told us we were too loud and proceeded to call us a BITCHLERETTE party! When we informed our waiter he told us we were loud. I am sorry but there was a more polite way of handling this! I was offended that it’s ok to talk to a group Of women and call them bitches if they are having a good time. Oh and by there was a screaming child in the restaurant and nobody called them a bad name!!! Horrible place!!!
