I have mixed feelings about Tom’s plumbing. I contacted them to see about a leak in my hot water heater. A representative came to our home and said we need a new hot water heater. I agreed to a price of over $ 1,600.00. A few days later it was installed. The mechanic who installed the heater finished and left the house. The heater worked, but thew water was not heated hot enough. I called the office and told them that it was not hot enough. The mechanic that installed the unit never checked at the time of installation whether or not I approved of the set temperature. The woman who answered the phone made an appointment to adjust the temperature setting. The same mechanic came and reset the thermostat to a hotter setting. A few days later I got a bill for $ 62.50 for a service call to reset the thermostat. I felt that the resetting of the thermostat should have been done at the time of installation and not to incur an additional charge. I called Tom’s plumbing to discuss the bill, and the woman who answered the phone said she just answers the phone and cannot change a bill. I asked to speak to someone in charge, and she told me that I could only talk to her. Her attitude was really off-putting. So even though the installation was adequate, I will never go to Tom’s Plumbing again. You shouldn’t either.
