Carolina Crossing Restaurant

Our extended family of 10 visited on Sunday morning while on a trip from Charlotte to Cowpens. Everyone loved their meals. The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean, friendly and quick.

I mostly just eat breakfast here, everything I have had here has been good. Good clean place with friendly service. The lunch and dinner meals are good and the price is reasonable. I recommend the humdinger breakfast if you want to sample everything they offer. Just 10 bucks.

Carolina Crossing was great friendly and food was very good. We enjoyed the home cooking and the pizza and the pricing was great lots of toppings not your usually don’t know if pepperoni was there or not. We will visit there often. Great to find places that care what they serve!!!.

We eat here quite often with all of our chefs and always enjoy the homemade everything!

My wife and I decided to try someplace new for dinner tonight, and this place looked promising based on the positive reviews here on Unilocal.Unfortunately, many of those reviews seem to be a little overly enthusiastic, because our experience was just just «OK». We ordered the sampler appetizer and a large All Meats pizza. The sampler took 20+ minutes to receive, despite the place not being very busy. When it finally did arrive, the fried pickles and fried mushrooms were good, but the barbecue wings were a joke… they just poured sauce over them (way too much, I might add) without doing anything to coat them, and the sauce itself was not good at all… cloyingly sweet, with an obvious ketchup flavor. Also, the ranch that came with the platter was very low quality and seemed to have been watered down. Our pizza arrived within two minutes of our appetizer (a personal pet peeve of mine), so it sat there getting cold until we finished the appetizer. When we finally got to it, the taste was nothing special… not bad, but nothing you can’t find at a million other small pizza joints. I do wonder though why they slice their pizzas into as many pieces as they do (12 slices for a large), as you end up with more «slivers» than «slices». All in all, we felt that the meal was nowhere near worth what we paid, and I highly doubt we’ll be returning.

Super nice staff and fresh sandwiches. The chips were great, and even the kids enjoyed the fried okra.

Super cute home cooking place off the 85. One of those roadside places that’s way better than it needs to be. Roasted turkey sandwich delicious, yummy gravy and iced tea and homemade coleslaw. Waitress was darling.

Terrific little restaurant in my family’s home town right near the Interstate! The Friday fish lunch special was terrific with the homemade chips and their homemade coleslaw. Price is very reasonable. Our waitress Jessica was excellent! Thank you!

This is such a cute little place! It has great food. I got the cub sub and homemade potato chips! It was so good and great price. The staff is so nice. I had a waitress named Ginger she was so nice and worked very well to make sure we had everything we needed.

I really enjoyed my lunch there! Their BBQ was delicious and their hush puppies not too greasy. The staff was very nice and friendly. If you are going through the area it is diffidently worth the stop!

I’m a fan of «The Crossing.» The food is good and normally the service is really good. The wait staff is very personable. My friends and I frequent the restaurant quite often. The special is normally good and the burgers are excellent. They are a bit pricey for some items, but it is one of my favorites for lunch.

I hate giving it a two star, but averaging everything out that’s where they land. The service is good, the food is okay, the prices are obsurd! You can go down the street to Ronda’s Kitchen and have the same meal, better service, and pay a lot less!
