I ordered food to be delivered. I ordered chicken pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I love spicy food so I ordered it extra spicy. When I reviewed the food there wasn’t a hint of spice to it. At all. The food was really good but I can’t give 5 stars when it wasn’t what I ordered. I will give them another chance to set my mouth on fire and hopefully give 5 stars. It’s a little on the pricey side but I feel it will be worth it if they can just add some heat. Ok so tried then again last night for dinner. THANKYOUFORHAVINGTHEOPTIONTHAISPICY! It was amazing and HOT! Perfection. This may be my new favorite Thai restaurant. The papaya salad was so good. Definitely my new favorite dish. :):)

I really don’t understand the amazing reviews for this place. I’ve had MUCH better Thai food in the area(I prefer Sister Kitchen). I asked the young guy at the counter for any suggestions, he gave me a weird stare like I shouldn’t ask for recommendations. After explaining that I like trying new things and house specialties, he suggested that order Pad Thai like everyone else. Any halfway decent Thai place can make Pad Thai, c’mon! I’m about as white as they come and I can even make a decent Pad Thai. Then I said that I wanted some sort of spring roll and asked for a specific spring roll suggestion(they have more than one spring roll), his response was that most people order the«Fresh Roll» — not that it was a good roll or his favorite. A little better customer service would have been beneficial. Ordered: Pad Thai, Green Curry, Avocado ‘Fresh Roll’, and something else that I can’t remember the name. Nothing stood out as flavorful — spicy, sweet, savory, sour. all those things you love about Thai food. Won’t be coming back.

Terrible service, soup was 13.95, and served in a half full pot. We had to order another for just 2 of us. It was not spicy or flavorful. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Cost was outrageous, 32.00 for small soup and satay. I don’t recommend this place.

We ordered two chicken pad Thai, egg rolls and yellow curry. Aside from the egg rolls being on the expensive side, everything was delicious and above satisfactory. We have already had Bunn Thai 3 times and will come back many more times. Bunn Thai is hands down the best Thai food in Gover Beach! We love it here!

Never had better yellow chicken curry. The owner is the coolest Thai guy in Cali. I’ve eaten there multiple times too and everything I’ve tried has been authentically bomb.

Awesome thai food … recommend the ginger delight. Additionally the staff was knowledgeable on gluten free options which is important to my wife. We had the panang curry, ginger delight and avacado rolls… all were very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been coming here since it was first opened. The taste has remained consistent. The food is always fresh. The jungle noodle is to die for. You must give it a try. That atmosphere he has is very tranquil. It’s never loud at all. Arguably the best Thai place in the Five Cities.

Loved this place I gave it a 5 stare review(the first time I gave it a review) I used to eat here at least once a week. But just recently I went in and the guy was VERY rude so rude I just got up and left. First off I ordered a coca cola and the girl gave me a diet coke, witch wasn’t the issue. The issue was when I kindly ask the guy if I could get a regular coke he lashed back at me and said well u asked for a diet. I never order diet EVER so I know I didn’t and all I said was well can I get a regular coke he took the diet coke off the table aggressive some even spilt. At this point I looked at my boyfriend and told him I wanted to leave. Then when he came back with the regular coke he slammed it on the table and walked off without saying one word. At thus point I was so mad we git up and left. We as regular customers should of never been treated like this. Even knew customers shouldnt. The only good thing I can say is they have good food but there is alot of JUSTASGOOD Thai food places here in Grover beach. I will NEVER give them my business ever again. I’m all about good customer service. Witch they don’t have.

By far my favorite Thai food in the 5-cities area. Tom Kha soup, red curry, and mango sticky rice is my go to order. Delicious flavors, friendly staff and adorable interior.

Has to be the best Thai food on the central coast! At least my favorite anyhow. My husband and I always order large avocado spring rolls with shrimp as an appetizer. Super delicious and fresh, dipping sauce is Yum along the toasted coconut topping! My favorite main dish is the Heaven on Earth house special. Fresh fish and veggies with a curry sauce. Comes with white or brown rice. Always fresh and piping hot! My husband has ordered a few other dishes and hasn’t been disappointed, you won’t either I’m sure! Enjoy!

This place is amazing. They have wonderful appetizer the vegetable crispy rolls are crunchy and seasoned perfectly, money bags are a favorite neither are oily and the sweet sour chili sauce is delish. We have our favorite go to when it comes to entrée’s the drunk noodles with BBQ pork and the special house fried rice. Both have fresh veggies and the sauce and herbs make this a perfect dinner with left overs for Lunch the next day.

This is a really good Thai restaurant. The vegetarian options are awesome. My 5 year old daughter loved their flat noodles and wanted to eat all three days of our trip at this place. When they have the endorsement of a picky five year old, you know how good they are. We ordered the Corn fritters, Tom Kha soup, pineapple fried rice and of course the flat noodles. The food was delicious and delivered on time. Really sumptuous fare to end a long day at the beach.

We had great, super delicious Thai Food. The service was very friendly and we got some good recommendations– especially as we were not sure what our kids may like or not. After a few minutes our kids asked if we can come again to this place and this is definitely a good idea! Thanks a lot for this great dinner!

The food is about a 9 but the customer service and friendliness of the staff is a 10 ! The owner went out of her way to accommodate us being vegan. It’s refreshing when a restaurant is familiar with vegetarian and vegan diets. They also serve reverse osmosis water.

Tried this place on recommendation from my sister who lives in the area. Cute little interior and friendly attentive staff. Most tables small, but they were able to seat our group of 7. Each of us ordered noodles(pad kee mow, pad see ew, pad thai) and we got one green curry chicken and rice to share. Everything was really delicious. Then the check came… That is when disappointment set in. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 small children(whom barely ate and shared what we ordered)…and that justified them adding automatic gratuity. Im sorry but that is a real turn off unless it is a real big party… We certainly would have tipped accordingly. All that did was make us not want to go back.

This area has a lot of thai restaurants, but Bunn Thai is always my go to. You can’t beat the food! My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle. Great food!

Good food and great service! They’re vegan– vegetarian– and gluten free– friendly. They were very accommodating and helpful in suggesting items. We ate the vegetable fried rolls, the corn fritters, penang curry, pad Thai, pad see Ew, drunken noodles, and basil stir fry. The penang curry was by far my favorite, one of the best I’ve ever had. The rolls, fritters, and pad Thai was sub-par, and the other dishes were pretty good, but nothing amazing. The ambience is classy, but casual and I appreciated the soft music and Thai –influenced decorations. It was on the pricier end for a Thai restaurant, with most dishes between $ 11 – 17, and there is a splitting charge of $ 5 if not everyone at the table gets an entrée. They automatically include a 18% tip of there’s a party over 5 people. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely visit again!

I’ve been saying I don’t like Thai food for my entire life… I was wrong… I don’t like Thai food that isn’t from Bunn! Like seriously, its delicious! The Pad Thai sauce is so perfect! I wish I was eating it right now. The guy who runs the place is my favorite. He lets me order very specifically and understands that I am super picky. The dudes takes his food serious and I appreciate that! I’ve only had take out and somehow its still so good! Eat here, duh!

This restaurant has cozy traditional ambience with soft music. The prices are a bit higher than most Thai restaurants($ 10-$ 15 for most items) but you pay for a higher quality of food. The chicken is free range and hormone free and the food is not overly oily. All of the veggies are fresh and cooked well. The one thing I dislike is that there is a $ 5 charge for sharing. The owner discouraged my bf and I from sharing by saying that the portions are single servings. However, we split a pot of soup and an entrée and were perfectly satisfied. I think Thai meals are better shared with the table so I really dislike the surcharge practice at this restaurant. Overall, A solid Thai place to come if you are hungry. Skip of you are looking for a lighter meal and don’t want to pay upwards of $ 20(including $ 5 sharing fee) for one entrée.
