Throckmorten Enterprises

Throckmorten has provided excellent service. We tried two other providers with disappointing results before we tried Throckmorten. First we tried a local cable provider. Their service was predictably horrendous every Friday evening, and at many other times. Sometimes service would just drop out completely for no reason and come back hours later. I called them up once and they said «well it’s PGE’s fault.» Huh, oh well I guess. Then we tried a satellite service, and the latency was so bad it made using the Internet a real chore. Finally we turned to Throckmorten, and I am glad we did.
Throckmorten’s service is fast and reliable, and their customer communication is really great! I appreciate knowing about the rare outage because I sometimes work from home, so having an opportunity to make and execute a plan B if I need it is really useful. And even when an outage was a problem with my gear, they went out of their way to establish positive connectivity and test that their equipment was OK.
I have had a number of cases where my home router was either hacked or broke down, and my Internet connectivity suffered. In each case it was my own wifi or router that was the issue and not Throckmorten. Browser-​based hacks on a user’s wifi are a fascinating new class of attacks and everyone should know that you just need to factory reset your wifi router from time to time.

Last year service signal and price were great. Something happened a couple of months ago to either their hardware or their software that has made internet access unbearable. I’m a tech guy and have tried everything on my end but even internet speed tests on all my devices fail most days because of network issues. Upload and download speeds as of late have been less than. .02 mbps per second causing most apps and Web pages to fail. Your Best Option in Groveland!
Through a couple moves around Groveland I have had the pleasure of experiencing other local providers. Throckmorten provides a solid reliable service without the excess charges based on usage. You pay one fee for fast, reliable internet. Not to mention; they have the best customer service I have ever experienced! They give you their personal cells and encourage you to call/​text at anytime if service is less then optimal.
