I’m a huge fan of golden grounds… Their donuts(in my opinion) are WAY better than dunkin donuts. I go at least twice a week. Their cream cheese is also to DIE for. My only complaint is that they start opening earlier, because I get up around 8 and I have to wait an hour before I can go =/But the food is delicious!

The worst coffee and donuts I have ever had ! Never ever again. The only nice thing about the place was the girl that waited on us was really nice.

Really good baked goods but their variety is too small and runs really low by late morning… and I don’t drink coffee, so I can’t judge that…

I have driven by so many times, and never had a chance to stop. I was in search of a coffee because of a poor customer service experience at the last place I stopped, and said why not when I saw they were open. They had a ton of food items available, and an extensive ice cream list. In fact, I stupidly thought the ice cream list was the coffee list at first glance and got really excited. Now that would be worthy of 5 stars! I ended up getting a chai. Why? I have no idea. My friend pointed out at the time that I should get a coffee. I really should have gotten the coffee. If you like authentic(spicy) chais then this is the place for you. It made my entire mouth tingle. Yikes! Per usual, I made my friend drink it. He’s such a good sport. So, I guess I do have to return and actually try the coffee and then give them a proper review. My bet is that the coffee tastes good and strong since the chai was very strong and spicy.

I often stop in for soft serve ice cream, service is a little slow, but the price is great. My fiancé usually buys a donut, and he likes them a lot more than he likes dunkin donuts.

I stopped by this morning on my way to work on Rt 97 and ordered an egg and cheese on an English muffin and a blueberry scone. The egg sandwich was so fresh and tasty and the blueberry scone was amazing. It was just right, moist and full of berries and not dry and too sugary like some places. Normally I would have got an iced coffee but I already had one on the way. I’m sure their coffee if great too. If you are looking for fresh homemade baked goods and not on the go cardboard egg sandwiches and processed muffins then I would definitely try Common Grounds and say hi to the Rooster at the drive thru :)

I’ve driven by this place about 200 times and said«next time I drive by here, I’m going to stop.. .» And I finally did. *Screeeeeeech* oops, sorry, dude behind me. I need a chocolate donut. Phenomenal chocolate donut. Fried so that it was crispy under the generous glaze. OMG. Donutgasm. Yes there is such a thing. Coffee ordered with Triple Cream No Sugar was delivered as such, still really hot and just the right color. Could have been a little richer roast to my taste, but I didn’t specify type — I just asked for coffee. Next time I’ll try one of the other kinds. There is a statue my size of a rooster by the order microphone. Large cock. SNORT The cashier called me honey or sweetie 6 times before the end of the transaction, and bade me a wonderful day. Sweetie. :) Aw. $ 3.03 for a large coffee and a chocolate donut that would make an angel sing. If angels eat donuts. Never been inside, someone was fixing the outside menu for the drive-thru so I couldn’t really see what else they offer, but I’ll definitely be back, possibly to give more stars.

Because I am afraid of the suburbs I try not to venture there more than is necessary to visit my family. I have picked up sandwiches here on 2 occasions and they are AMAZING. Huge and flavorful with the right amount of fillings evenly distributed through out. They also serve donuts and coffee which are both awesome as well. The donuts remind me of the old fashioned kind, you know, when donuts used to taste good back before DD took over the world? They have all kind of gourmet coffees that are fabulous. My only reasoning for not giving them more stars is the service. They really need someone working over the age of 16. The girls are sweet enough and polite but they need someone there who can handle issues such as yesterday when the girl gave my order to someone else after I had waited an excruciating period of time for just 2 sandwiches. I mean like I waited 20 minutes and my sandwiches were the only ones being made. Then she walks over and hands then to the lady who came in after me and ordered a bagel. I called out loudly«no wait that’s my order» and I was ignored by both the staff and the clueless lady who took my order. She then left with it only to return 5 minutes later and say«oh this isn’t my food». I was then handed the bag she left with. UM that isn’t even close to correct food handling. I did not receive an offer for more sandwiches or any compensation. I firmly believe it was not to be rude but just inexperienced kids who didn’t know how to handle the situation. My mother also had the same thing happen the last time she went in and the adult manager quickly remade her order because as the manager stated«that is correct food handling protocol». All in all worth the trip but just make sure you look over your order before you leave.
