So. Very mixed feelings about this winery. Limited menu which is fine. We had the cheese and meat tray. It was very nice. 2 out of the 4 wines we tasted were decent, but not good enough to make us want a glass. The ember wine was weird. The nose was muddy. Live entertainment was very enjoyable. Service… ok, I really think everyone here means well. They are just super disorganized they are all running around trying to help everyone. But they all seem overwhelmed. If they would just split o the tables among them, I think it would go more smoothly. They just seemed to busy to be too attentive. Very odd. They aren’t rude but need some structure. Maybe just one person should be running the tastings and running register while others wait on tables.

Favorite Winery in Columbus area! We’ve come here on several special occasions and the owner and his wife are just great. Very relaxing atmosphere than even when full isn’t arranged to feel crowded, good use of space. Unlike some of the«shake and bake» places around they actually grow a lot of their own grapes, which I love. On weekends they often have music and a food truck. My personal favorites are the Red Tail and Embers.

I went here with a friend after shopping. I had the ember wine which tasted weird. Super oaky which I normally like but eh, just weird. My friend had the Malbec which she said was very carbonated. We had the meat and cheese plate and the spinach dip which were ok, nothing special. The Powell village winery is way better! The service was horrible here and I won’t be returning.

Stopped in for the first time tonight and pleasantly surprised! Wine is amazing — got a bottle of the Solstice and took another one home. Owners are super friendly and engaging. Plum Run Winery is a huge asset to Grove City and beyond. So glad we stopped in. We will definitely be back!

I was really impressed by this winery and the quality wine that is being made. Plum Run is an urban winery in the heart of old Grove City. It is owned and operated by a husband and wife team who spend 7 years researching before opening the winery. Wine is made either from grapes located in a vineyard outside of town, or when available Ohio products. In talking with the owner/winemaker the wines are all about balance. Flavors of sour, bitter, sweet are all in balance, never too much of one flavor over powering another. Red, white, rose and fruit wines are all available. My husband and I tried just about everything availability. Each tasting is a dollar for a one ounce pour. I can’t say there was a wine I didn’t like. I really enjoyed the apple made from a combination of three making for a balance combination between sweet, sour and spice. Again it is all about balance. even of the naturally sweet and grapey wines of Concord and Niagara were not rot your teeth out sweet and had a nice balance to them. Winery has a limited menu of cheese and sandwiches to munch while enjoying some wine. Events on the weekends also involve woodfire pizza, hamburgers and live music. This is a great winery that is worth a visit!

Very good wine. Check them out. Love the port style. Not a fan of the live music selection but it was outside so we went indoors.

Great local winery! I usually get the Niagara, but now that the Apple and Raspberry are out, they are my go to! Tonight there was a pizza food truck and it was great! Really good combo! The owners are really great people, too
