I’ve been here several times and really want to like this place. It’s beautiful and the patio makes you feel like you’re on vacation. Too bad the food and drinks are inconsistent and mediocre at best. The worst part is that the service is atrocious every single time. It’s a good thing they automatically add 18% gratuity because I would never tip that much for the service I’ve received(and I’m typically a 20%+ tipper). Cimi’s has the potential to be a gem amongst mostly chain restaurant choices in the area but their management needs to get it together and train their wait staff. For this type of restaurant you should be able to expect to see your server more than twice in a meal and not wait 30+ minutes for a drink. I certainly hope the brides and grooms who hold their receptions there get better service or this place will be out of business in no time.

A+ atmosphere and scenery, food is a solid B! A little pricey but view and quality of establishment makes it acceptable.

Great atmosphere, mediocre service(although improving), but the food is getting worse. Do not order the fish and chips, EVER! The box it came in would have been better.

Our bill was $ 40, and our two meals of $ 20 each were comped because they were so tasteless. One glass of wine, one order of calamari(only taste it had was burnt flavor) and a wedge salad(lettuce was brown and they even attempted to cut part of it off to hide it). The meals that we didn’t pay for were both shrimp scampi fettucine. 5 large shrimp which were decent but the pasta was undercooked and had absolutely no flavor. It is just oily pasta with tomatoes. The flavor was so underwhelming that I only ate the shrimp and didn’t waste calories eating the pasta. Also note that they charge an 18% service fee to every bill regardless of how many people are at the table. I would’ve been even more disappointed had we paid $ 80 for that. Yes I realize it is nestled in a golf course community-I guess I expected more from the food. We won’t be back.

Everything I have ever ordered has been delicious! Love the patio in the summer with a beautiful view of the golf course. The inside itself is beautiful with rooms for banquets or weddings. It is a wonderful little gem in Grove City I would encourage anyone to try.

I’ve been here many times for personal and work functions and the service level has been steadily declining. Sunday my wife and I went for brunch, and the restaurant crowd was very light. After being seated, 10 minutes later before even bringing us water, we were asked to move to another table. This is completely understandable, larger parties need to be accommodated for and I have worked in the food industry. After another 25 minutes(not exaggerating) we finally received our water. Tack on another hour and a half and we finally leave after a couple dry burgers and terrible service. It will be a long time before I return.

Cimi’s Bistro is great. It sits inside the clubhouse of the Pinnacle Gold Club where my wife and I got married. The first time I came to this little place was several years ago and I got the Stromboli. So good. What really gets me, however, is the lobster bisque. Perhaps it’s just me but it is the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had. The ambiance is beautiful; you can sit inside or outside right on the course! Beautiful!

Very nice. I had the scallops and they were sinfully good. My friend had a ribeye. It was ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Pat

Absolutely gorgeous venue. The seats outside have a truly spectacular view of the golfing green. Pricey for what they serve. They charge $ 18 on a dish that ended up being glorified spaghetti that came with no sides and cold. The wait staff moved slow. I came with a larger group that had a reservation but we ended up being there for 2 hours and they automatically added on gratuity at 18% which didn’t give our waiter any reason to move along quicker. The menu does not offer much to eat on a vegetarian diet. A nice little feature was the girl with the golf cart waiting outside who offered to give us rides out to the parking lot. This place was delightful and charming but I likely wouldn’t return.

What an entry… with fancy staircases and beautifully decorated rooms in the country club. The weather was so nice, so we sat outside by the golf course. I loved looking at the greens, the colorful flowers, and the stone walls. The server was Awesome! You know why?! She brought us the best rolls I’ve had in a long time. That’s the best way to get me on your good side. You treat me like you love me, I love you back. Lol. They were warm, moist, soft… and then add the garlic herb butter… and BAM! I’ve got the happiest mouth on the planet. I could have stopped there and been most content. If I had one suggestion, it would be, put cushions on the patio chairs. After a little bit, you not only have waffle looking legs on the backside, but it starts to hurt. I ordered the salmon slider and French onion soup. Both were very good. But let’s go back to the fresh rolls. Mmmm, ah, oh, Ha!

I’ve never had a bad meal at Cimi’s. Yes it is at a golf course but it is one of the best sit down restaurants in Grove City. It also has a great bar side.

My wife and I have been there a number of times. We like the location and the view. Its a clean, pleasant dining area and friendly staff. The food in the past was OK. We were there about a month ago — I got the ribs– Tough ! I mean like eating an old leather shoe. I felt I was done eating there. The other night we went back. My wife talked me into it. I got the Smoked Chicken Linguini — Bad! The chicken was processed meat(weird meat), not white meat, I mean like the meat in a .99 cent chicken sandwich from a fast food drive through. There were about 4 pieces of this chicken total. The flavor of the sauce was not good– like a cheap boxed pasta from walmart. I told my wife I am not going back! There must be a new chef or cooks or something. A great place to go meet up outside in the summer for a drink or two but I will not eat there ever again.

Friendly staff but prime rib Wednesday was disappointing. Prime rib was lacking flavor give it a C. My wife had the filet mignon ordered it medium was lacking seasoning and was dry. Very disappointed for the price, on a side note the pasta bar is a good value.

I was very disappointed to learn that Cini’s Bistro no longer offers a vegan menu. If you’re into fried foods, a few seemingly vegan appetizers exist. I ended up ordering the seafood pasta without seafood. I was disappointed by the portion size and butter or oil at the bottom of the pasta. My family enjoyed their meaty entrees and the view of the golf course from the patio was beautiful. Unfortunately, I will not return until the vegan menu is reinstated.

Probably one of the better restaurants that I ate at during my short stay in Ohio. Cimi’s Bistro is located in what appears to be a country club golf course. The good news is that Cimi’s is open to the public. I love nice restaurants at golf courses, especially if it overlooks the course itself. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with a small, but classy and beautiful restaurant. The décor, huge windows overlooking the course, and even the clean rest rooms are simply gorgeous. There’s a pretty decent selection of food here from appetizers, small entrees, seafood, steaks, and burgers. I got their Tialpia, which is new, and tried some of the calamari. I have to say that my meal was delicious. My fish was well portioned, Parmesan crusted, and served on a bed of mash potato’s. I also added rice to my dish. My co-workers got a mix from steaks, salmons, fish & chips, and burgers. Just love how each meal is presented and quality is just as good. Most dishes are above $ 20 and well worth it. Our server was also efficient and if there was one issue, it would be that the food took a while to be served. Overall, I have to give 5 stars for the ambiance, food, and price. Price may be high to some, but actually pretty good since you’re served quality food at a restaurant on a golf course. Calamari: Crusted Tilapia: Side Rice: Must Have:

If you are looking for gorgeous scenery and nice décor then Cimi’s is definitely a place you want to visit. The outdoor patio overlooking one of the holes presents a fabulous view for any lunch or dinner. There is also an outdoor bar on the patio to sit at if you are alone or only there to have a few cold ones. The food here is not bad although consistency seems to sometimes be an issue when is comes to the taste of your favorite dishes. The lobster bisque is one of my favorite items on the menu and I get it every time I go, but I have gotten a few batches that were not up to par. The majority of my visits have been for lunch and they have great salads and sandwiches to choose from. The cobb salad and club sandwich are two things I get for lunch often. For dinner the jambalaya is an excellent choice and something I find myself ordering quite a bit. While you wait the free pretzel bread and garlic butter serves as a good pre-meal appetizer. The service here is hit or miss, if you come with a group larger than 4 people you can expect your visit to take a while whether or not the restaurant looks busy or not as is takes the food a while to come out from the kitchen more often than not. If it were not for the inconsistency of the dishes and the sometimes slower than average service I would give it a 4 star rating. Another thing you can expect is 18% gratuity tacked on to your bill. I usually tip 20% most places however when the business takes the liberty of adding it to your bill automatically I leave it at their take and do not add on the additional 2% cause lets face it people have a hard enough time trying to calculate 15% in their head quickly let alone 2%.

This is the restaurant we have needed in Grove city for a long time. The food is wonderful and the patio is amazing in the summer. The lobster bisque is great in the winter and filling. Cannot say enough good things about Cimis!

10÷17÷11 It is locate in a private golf club but it is open to the public. I have only had lunch here with clients several times. I cannot comment on dinner. Lunch has always been good, especially the pretse bread rolls. It takes a litle time to get here from downtown, but it is worth it.

I have to admit that I was a bit worried when my mom suggested that we go to Cimi’s Bistro for our usual Restaurant Week date. Even more worried when she suggested that we take my father. You see, I haven’t had much luck with golf course restaurants. They always try to be upscale, but somehow seem to finish flat. It didn’t start out all that great when we got lost. Cimi’s is a bit out of the way so make sure you have your directions straight and your GPS charged or you might end up going out of your way! But once we found it, things started to look up. We were seated outside on the patio but I wish they had asked where we wanted to sit because even in the shade we were sweating. It was a great view of the course, but we couldn’t get over the beads of sweat dripping down our faces. Also, the flies seemed to have a taste for our food and came out in droves. The food was well done. The restaurant week menu was $ 25 and I chose the lettuce wraps(which would have actually been better without the lettuce which wilted a bit with the heat of the filling), Sesame crusted halibut which was perfectly done and flaky, and the strawberry shortcake(fresh fruit but a bit weak on the shortcake). If you do come here, make sure to check your bill. We had an 18% tip already added onto our bill. Not sure if that was just a restaurant week thing or a regular occurrence.

Talk about gorgeous scenery! I guess that’s what you get from a golf course/country club eatery.(Cimi’s is part of the Pinnacle Golf Club). Nonetheless, my experience sipping cocktails on the patio in the sun was picturesque. One(well two) words: PRETZELBREAD! The pizzas were pretty amazing too. Made with fresh, gourmet toppings, I was pretty impressed. It’s a little out of the way — in Grove City(15 min from downtown Columbus.) Still, Stringtown Rd. in Grove City has shopping strips and a Walmart. ;) Cimi’s is definitely a place for a nice romantic evening or ladies night out.
