Hooked! Families been getting grinders from here for years it’s like the best little kept secret. probably because it doesn’t look like they’re even open for business haha but I will say that you can’t find a better grinder in Groton especially for the price! Delicious and fresh and the guys friendly what more can you ask for (:

I’m writing this review from Virginia for a place that looks like it could barely pass a health inspection and giving in 4 stars. This speaks volumes.
We’ve actually been getting our grinders from this place since I can remember. My grandfather would stop in here and grab a few on our way to Eastern Point Beach, they were always the best and I was thrilled that I could carry on this tradition decades later.
The grinders are great quality, you stand there while the lettuce and tomatoes are cut right in front of you and the whole thing is drizzled with quality olive oil. You can get great gossip or sports talk while you wait and for $ 7 for a large, you can feed 3 – 4 people, or one hungry husband.
I’ll continue to patronize this place as long as its open.

being going to Benneditos when ever i’m in this area. Consistently great bread and meets on their grinders. They tell me they make the pepper «hot shots» — pepers with provalone wrapped in proscuito — they’re great.
nice local place, nice people too. owner is usually at the counter taking orders.
