Amazing food, no really amazing food and the price is great. These people are from Lebanon and they are doing it right. They have the best falafel around, outstanding hummus. Their bread is fresh, and they do not make it but this great Lebanese bakery does… and its freaking good. I’m Lebanese, I make my own. This is good and is honestly the best all around as far as taste, price and service. I am a satisfied customer and I wish more people would go here!!!

This is a superb food served in a nondescript storefront… The food is fresh and each bite bursts with all different flavors… I had the chicken schwarma and falafel sandwhich – perfect! the pita was heated just right and the schwarma seasoned perfectly. The salads are all fresh and burst with taste. It’s unfortunate that people probably bypass the place because it looks simple and«ethnic.» I have to be honest, this is the best Middle Eastern food I have had this year. And that says alot since my family is from the Middle East!!! Give this place a shot… don’t judge a book by its cover; there;s alot of great food to be had here!

Found this place on Unilocal during my business trip. Had the falafel sandwich and hummus with pita chips. Everything was delicious. The falafel was $ 6.50 and hummus $ 5.99.I found that the hummus is over priced. I asked for a little and received a big plate of hummus. But other than that the place is very authentic and I’m glad I stopped by

Best falafel sandwich I think I’ve ever had. Clean place, lot of pride in ownership and the food here.

The food is good here, nothing to write home about, but good. I would like to warn all you Unilocalers out there that I’m pretty sure they use MSG in there food as afterwards my hands and feet swelled up like balloons. Not to mention they serve your food on styrofoam plates and give you plastic ware to eat with. Not very green.

Oh man this place is exactly what this area has been lacking. The shawarma is rediculously good as well as the baklawa. They use premium ingredients and make all from scratch. I cannot believe I didn’t come here sooner. They are very friendly and actively make sure you want to come back. An easy 5 stars with all factors considered. I have lived all over the country and was sad to come back to an area with the same old thing(burgers, pizza, Chinese takeout, and chain restaurants). This place meets southern California standards of good food.

The restaraunt smelled amazing walking in the door, and I was greeted by a very friendly hostess who rang me out for my take out order. I had a falafel wrap and a chicken shawarma wrap. They were both outstanding but the falafel was my favorite. Very fresh, crispy vegetables and light and flavorful falafel inside a thin wrap that was slightly crispy on the edges. Best I’ve had in a long time. They also have a «subway» sandwich style setup inside, so you could just walk in and order on your lunch break and they will make it right in front of you and you can see the ingredients. Their kitchen is also open to the dining room which I like as well, because you can see how clean they keep it. I’ll be adding this to my list of regular stops.

I got the chicken schwarma wrap. Was delicious. Service was good. I ordered a drink that was supposedly made from dates but it tasted like rose-scented perfume, which is probably just a cultural preference. I’ll be back for sure.

Completely delicious chicken and falafel sandwich, with a side of hummus. Really quite good. Only the setting detracts from the food. The service was attentive. Prices were reasonable. I’d fix up the room to attract a wider clientele. The food is on point.

Such a great place! The falafel is just what I needed for my Mediterranean cravings and the service was great. Definitely stopping by more often to try the rest of the menu!!!

Stopped in for a quick lunch during a road trip. My husband grew up in Bulgaria, so our standards for this sort of cuisine are high, and this restaurant was fantastic. We had the grape leaves and tzatziki to start, both were delicious. The falafel and chicken special sandwich was amazing. The falafel was perfectly crispy and moist, and the chicken had a delicious middle eastern spice rub. I was also impressed with the quality of chicken, clearly prime white meat, well trimmed. I also highly recommend the baklava. House made with cashews and pistachios, crispy delicate fillo, and just a subtle hint of rose water and orange blossom water. Fantastic spot, I hope to return!

Awesome! I placed a catering order here. I was looking for something for a lunch meeting that wouldn’t leave everyone in a food coma. I ordered hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, and chicken and lamb shawarma. They were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Definitely deserving of their 5-star status.

Great Middle Eastern Chow. I ordered takeout because the Decore inside looked a bit weird but don’t worry you won’t notice the surroundings, because the food is so damn good. I had an amazing falafel wrap with lettuce tomato tahini baba ghanouj and whatever spices they put in there. simply amazing. falafel is wrapped in a very thin but moist delicious pita skin — it is pressed and holds its shape and holds the ingredients wonderfully. Next i tried the chicken Schwarma, which was made of succulent juicy chicken —aromatic and really flavorful — with vegetables tahini and yogurt all wrapped up in the same delicious thin pita. Probably the most amazing thing I had was the spinach tart or popover. filled with sautéed spinach and another vegetable possibly squash it was light moist and absolutely delicious. it’s not on the menu so ask for it. for dessert I had a sweet delicate little square of baklava smelling of honey and spices and cashews and pistachios. total damage was $ 24 but I only was able to eat half of the meal and I ate the rest for lunch the next day. The portions were very generous at this restaurant.

Lovely place. The aroma, the lovely women working, CLEAN, everything was enjoyable. I enjoyed the vegetarian entrée for lunch $ 10.99. I was worried it would be too much, but I was just enough. I veraciously ate it all up! I’m always rushed at lunch only having 30 mins and it was nice that the good came right out. I don’t think I waited more than 4minutes. Cannot wait to come back.

This place is just above and beyond anything else around here. Quite easily the best felafel and hummus I’ve ever had. The food is delicious, cheap and fresh. Will be sure to try the Chicken Shawarma next time that everyone on here raves about!

Shawarma shawarma shawarma! Pretty good lunch grub! Got a lamb shawarma platter with tabboleh and hummus(you can also get fries). It came with pita and a side of tzaziki sauce(you could also sub for tahini). So yummy! I could seriously eat their pita and hummus all day long. I make my own hummus and I thought mine was the best. Yeah, mine doesn’t hold a candle to this stuff! It also came with some pickles(cucumber and radish) and tomato. The hubby likes to play it safe with his food choices so he got a chicken shawarma sandwich. Yummy tender chicken with some crisp veggies and the tzaziki sauce in a pita wrap. His was yummy as well! While I was eating there I thought about how cool it would be to work at one of the places in the strip mall so I could come every day for lunch. A place has to be good to put those kinda ideas in my head! The place is very clean, the people are really nice, and they use quality ingredients in all of their platters. Also, Groton is pretty full of pizza. fast food. burger joint. chain restaurant. pizza. pizza. greasy chinese. burger joint. fast food. pizza. greasy chinese. more chain restaurants… so its pretty refreshing to find something a bit different from the usual around here. I’m definitely a fan!

I Unilocaled and found this great place. I never noticed it, and it was in the same plaza as the indo-Pakistan grocery that I buy spices and rice from. It is a very basic place. I am planning a second follow up trip … I had a daily special. Eggplant lasagna. I have to say. It was 5 stars. Walked in for falafel, but had some of the best eggplant yet… wow. I’m giving 5 stars just for the eggplant. I will post follow ups when I try the Lebanese foods.

Will somebody other than myself please patronize this place? I feel really bad for the owners because whenever I visit I never see any other customers inside. And that’s a real shame because there aren’t many places around here that serves good Lebanese food. If you like to eat the same boring foods and only want restaurants like Applebee’s and Five Guys to populate the town of Groton, then you’ll continue to stay away from this place. But if you’re adventurous and enjoy trying different things then it behooves you, yes it behooves you, to pay a visit to Beirut’s Food Palace. So for the love of God please visit them so they don’t go out of business. No, they don’t serve hamburgers. But if your mom was anything like my mom, then you already know that if you eat too many hamburgers then you’re going to end up looking like a hamburger. 9 out of 10 moms agree. So keep that in mind the next time you’re sitting at Five Guys. You could be sitting there getting ready to look like a hamburger or you could be sitting here and trying something really different.
