Can’t say enough good things about VWS. Owner, Zach, is about as friendly as they come. Will assist you in finding whatever you are looking for! However expensive or inexpensive. Worth going out of the way (which, lucky for ME. It is not!) to purchase your refreshment needs.

I highly recommend this place not only for their selection of wines and liquor, but also for the excellent friendly service. Recently one of my close friends from high school lost his mother and Zack the owner was fantastic in assisting us in ordering all the alcohol for the wake. From the ordering to the delivery, set up, and return of unopened bottles of wine Zack and the staff made a difficult time that much easier to manage. This was not the first party that my family has utilized the Village Wine Shop for, and every time it has been the best decision we have made. You also can’t go wrong just going in on a friday night to pick up a 6 pack of beer! Love this place!

I would highly recommend this place for any liquor order. these guys are awesome from price to customer service. Recently we ordered for a wedding party everything came on time and rates are very good. Zack also helped me out with the order. Glad we did business with these guys.

Village Wine Shop is two blocks from my house. While that alone is worth three stars, this shop has earned all five of theirs.
They have a great selection of beer. While all of the local party stores do a good job stocking Michigan beers such as Atwater, Bells, Shorts and Founders, they also have some European brews that aren’t as easy to find. For instance, I can usually find a six of Polish beer whenever the mood hits.
They also have a pretty extensive wine and liquor selection. And the staff is always happy to make a recommendation if you don’t know what you want.
This place has a terrific neighborhood feel. Stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

Friendly and knowledgable staff! For all you winos out there, this is the place. They will always help you find something delicious and in your price range. As for beer, they carry all the standard Michigan craft brews plus some. Just wish they had a larger selection.

Highly recommended. even better that it’s literally one minute from our house. Like other reviews say, service is very friendly and they always take their time to find you something within your price point. I commented that I was really looking for Brazilian Rum — cachaca — and was disappointed I couldn’t buy it from them. The owner too note and started to stock it the next week. Can’t ask for better service than that. Love the Village Wine Shop!

I was in a rush to fill my cooler and needed a one stop shop for adult beverages. I needed a good IPA, a brown ale, bottles of red and white wine and ice. I needed help choosing the brown ale and a red wine with a softer finish than what I usually drink. Staff came through with great recommendations. So much so that I am heading back up to buy a case of a lovely, reasonably priced French white.
I was in and out in 15 minutes with my cooler completely ready to pack!

In addition to being a wine shop, they also have an outstanding selection of craft beer. I’m a big fan of MI beer and Village has the most extensive local and statewide selection of craft beer I’ve seen anywhere. The staff is very knowledgable, friendly and great at making suggestions.
