We celebrated my bridal shower here, outside of the activity center in the large tent. I can’t say enough how wonderfully amazing everything was ESPECIALLY the FOOD. Wow!!! The chef went above and beyond to not only serve the most excellent selections but he even catered to our special requests. The Monte Cristo sandwich was phenomenal. Everyone raved about the food and overall atmosphere. It couldn’t have been any more perfect from the Mimosa Bar to the delicious array of salads, fruits, sandwiches… all of it. They honestly did an amazing job I have nothing negative to say. If you’re interested in doing an outdoor bridal or baby shower brunch the Activity Center/​Costwold Café is the place to have it!

Second time here in one year and it was BETTER this time around! Beautiful location, on the grounds of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Shores, and a wonderful place to walk after dining. Nice selection of entrees and sides. They also have a beer and wine selection and take out!

Dined here after our tour of the house & grounds. This is in a building which was Mrs. Ford’s greenhouse. Food was amazing-​and we’re a bit hard to please. Waitress reported that this is still a best kept secret. Homemade soups, about the freshest and most delicious salads we’ve eaten. Outdoor seating on a lovely patio. Loved every bite.
