OMG… I made an appt. three weeks ago because today was the only available appt. they had to work with my schedule. I showed up 15 minutes early as requested and was surprised to find an odd office building and no clear direction of where I was supposed to go. I called the number on my voucher and the voicemail box was FULL. I went back up to the door that said 108 and knocked. No one answered. I called the number again and nothing. I waited around for a while. I then went to my car and used the Internet on my phone to look up reviews. I was horrified to find that this has happened before and the prior business Total Bodyworks had changed its name to Tree of Life… both have HORRIBLE reviews. This is no way to run a business. You should be ashamed of yourself for defrauding people. I moved my day around for this appt. and for three weeks looked forward to it. I am so disappointed and I feel betrayed. STAYAWAY!!!

I wish there had been reviews on this place when I booked my Groupon. I had the same experience as everyone else. There is no sign outside to let you know the business is in the office building, but I went in since that was the address I had. The building seemed old and not very well-kept and the ‘spa’ was in a ‘suite’ which was a hallway of chairs with a locked door with a poster that said Tree of Life. No one was there to greet me, so I called since I thought maybe I was at their billing location or something. The girl answered the phone and said that the person helping me was currently with a client and would be with me shortly. A girl eventually came in, in street clothes, said she would be with me, then closed the door. It sounded like she was working in there, so I waited, even though my appointment was supposed to have already started. She eventually came out, told me she didn’t want to do my massage today since it was already late. She did offer more services(at a later date) to compensate for the inconvenience, but at this point, I am just hoping Groupon will refund me since I did not find the atmosphere of the place relaxing or enjoyable in the slightest.

So incidentally purchased a Groupon for this place and was repeatedly disappointed. Oh, by the way, never had an appointment. I was excited to try a new place closer to home and thought this was a perfect opportunity. I had a Saturday appointment scheduled and arrived approximately 5 min late. I had called to let them know when I was on my way. There was no answer. Upon arriving I realized this was an office building where they rented a suite. Which is usually fine. However, when entering the very office-like hallway I was greeted by the owner of the company next door. It was her who gave me the form to fill out while I was waiting for the massage therapist. 20 min into my wait I decided to call. No answer. I stuck around because I thought there was a possibility of me getting the time wrong. After 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 min I called. Finally I gave up(much too late) and decided to leave. As I was leaving I called again and finally got an answer. The person on the other end of the call mentioned that the owner had something come up and couldn’t make it. However, no one called me, no one came to the office, no one called their neighbor who was actually doing their job to tell me that they had an issue. Then they wanted to «make it up to me». Since this was a day that I was preparing for relaxation, I had no calendar with me so I told them I needed to call back to arrange a new time. If it weren’t for the fact I had the Groupon I would have been done with this company at this point. So instead I proceeded to give them another chance. Well another HUGE issue this company is their lack of reception/customer service. They never answer the phone. Their message states they will call you by the end of day or within 24 hours. Yeah, they did that a few times. But the amount of calls I had to make just to schedule an appointment was utterly ridiculous. I probably received 1 phone call for my every 3. This was one of the worst experiences in dealing with an organization I have ever had. I never even got to the point of actually experiencing their actual service. Epic fail.

Terrible experience, not even worth the cheap prices. The therapists were unprofessional and the massage was not enjoyable or relaxing. I left feeling greasy and more tense than before I had gone in. The therapist kept bumping into me during the massage due the tiny room size and she spent the majority of the time thumping on my body with her hands. I was supposed to receive a 90 min massage and a mini facial, but due to a cancellation on their part, they said that they would add 15 min onto my massage. This did not happen. I did not even get into the room until a few minutes after 1pm and I was in the waiting area ready to leave at 2:30pm, so my massage(INCLUDING the time for my terrible facial) was less than 90 minutes even with my undressing and dressing time. I would not go back if it was free and I would not recommend this place to anyone. :/

I went there last night for a 90 min massage and mini-facial. My therapist was great but the overall experience was not one I could recommend to a friend. You walk into the suite that is shared by 3 other businesses and wait in a slew of chairs that are under a clear hanging wall file with«new client» paperwork. About 15 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start, I was called into a small receiving room that was shared with 3 smaller rooms. The therapist was very nice and introduced herself telling me more about her style of massage. She made me feel comfortable with the room temperature and clearly had put time into prepping the room for a relaxing experience. The massage was pleasant however there were multiple interruptions by fellow therapists entering the room throughout the session and the walls were so paper thin that the therapist had to counteract the noise by turning her iPad spa music louder. The mini facial was not even close to what I have had anywhere else. Although they used Aveda products, they were not equipped with the proper tools to give any type of facial to a client and call it that. No hair band, left the sheet up on my neck, hair was covered in the soaps and lotions, just an overall poor conclusion to my experience. The fact that the session began 15 minutes late and I was back in my car leaving only an hour after it actually started was the closure of the«90 minute» time warp massage disaster.
