First of all… NATE’S ISNOTCLOSED. Nate’s Market is an old school independent grocer located on the main street of Grosse Ile, near the river on the east side. Nate’s stocks a mix of upscale items as well as some essentials. There are some old school Islanders that do all their shopping here. Nates has an excellent butcher counter with very fresh prime meats available, a deli with great sandwiches, amazing fried chicken, homeade salads and Boars Head deli products. Also, they stock a wide variety of top shelf Beer, Wine, and Liquor. Still family owned by the Nate Anderson family, Nate’s is a essential fixture for Grosse Ile residents.
